Food was very bland. Service took forever even though they weren't busy. The ambiance was overall good. 5/10 overall.

This is our favorite spot in town to eat, the service is great, the food and drinks here are wonderful. We do carry out a lot anymore, and we have a decent sized family. But our orders are usually done and ready to go in less then 15 minutes. Everything here is good, so no matter what you try it's gonna be good. It's a very nice low key, warm inviting place to eat. Classic Mexican food always on point. Love this place and a must stop whenever we're visiting family in Ohio. Great service and atmosphere. Good for small and large groups. *Update* I've been in 3 additional times since my first review, and I think this place keeps getting better and better. The most recent time I went, their special was a pitcher of margaritas for $15. Let me tell you; they are delicious, STRONG margaritas! I also ordered a sangria for myself - also delicious! I've ordered a different item off the menu each time I've gone - chicken quesadilla, taco salad, enchiladas rancheros - all have been equally delicious. All I can say is: EAT HERE! I've been visiting my dad in Ohio since 2016 and he always takes me to this restaurant. Every time I try to get myself to like it but I cannot do it. It is nothing against the workers at all they are always so friendly and sweet & create an amazing atmosphere! It's just the food that ruins it for me.. I don't plan on ever returning to this restaurant. I've heard great things about the food but haven't had a worse experience. We stood waiting for a table for over an hour and then were told "we're putting a table together for you now" 15 minutes later the hostess came up to us and asked if our party was willing to split up into two booths. What happened to the table that was getting ready? Less than ideal but we were starving at this point so we were willing to do anything. THEN another 5 minutes later we were told "actually we're just getting your table is just getting ready now". We stood there for another 10 minutes with no one saying a word to us. We finally decided to walk out. I understand it's a Saturday night and you're busy, but there's a right and wrong way to go about things and you can't do much worse than that. read more

Not a fan of most Mexican as my experience is I find them to basically taste the same...Here is where that ended as my Steak ala Mexicana was bursting with flavour!!!! Never been disappointed. Staff is on point, incredibly personal, and do their absolute best to make sure your happy. The food is the absolute best Mexican I've ever had, my favorite being pullo pablano, and filete de pescado. We love coming here after church for lunch, and love the atmosphere, staff and food! This place has been in the area for a little over a year and we had been meaning to try it, well today we did! The restaurant has limited parking, as it is right off a main road in a semi residential section of town. We didn't have any issue parking but we also came at a slower time of the day (around 3:30). Upon entering the restaurant, you aren't accosted by as many vibrant colors, in fact, it may be a little on the sparce side as far as decor. The restaurant does look very clean and the servers seem very pleasant. They are the reason I gave it a four star rating instead of three. The food isn't anything extraordinary. Nor is the salsa. I ordered the fish tacos and my companion had the burrito combo-two burritos one chicken, one beef. The fish came out a little dry and over cooked, the Pico de gallo seemed very fresh and the rice was well cooked. My boyfriend complained of a vast amount of onions in his burrito and said it was a little on the bland side. It really didn't have anything that couldn't be found of the same quality in another local Mexican restaurant. The prices were very affordable though. May try to eat here again but will definitely try something else. read more

This is no cheesy play-to-stereotype restaurant! We have gone here since it opened three years ago and it has everything needed for staying power. The owner and his wife cook and work the floor. The servers are smiling, fast and attentive. Love the salsa. The food is hot, flavorful and plentiful. Our family has tried just about everything on the menu. Want something "burn your eardrums" hot? I'm thrilled there is now a mexican restaurant in uhrichsville. I just had the steak ranchero, and talk about a great value! For $12, i got a delicious ribeye steak (which I selected over the mexican tacos because I asked the worker what he would order off of the menu) which was likely 8-10 ounces, which might cost at least that much at any grocery store. It also came w/ rice and beans. My mom is a vegan, and they have a nice vegetarian section on their menu, so she got spinach and mushroom enchiladas. read more
