Delicious Sushi! Very friendly staff and the vibes inside were so fun...sports, classic cartoons (my favorite), and relaxing music. Definitely coming back and want to try the Omakase! They have three different options to pick so you're not feeling like spending over $100 for things you don't pick...I honestly am excited for them to pick the options because everything we had was so good!

We've never had a bad experience all the 5-7 times we've been here. The quality of food is always superb and the service is always excellent. We are always greeted when we walk through the door. I love how they play some sort of anime in the TV's and old school Japanese music. It's a great vibe. My favorite dishes are the vegetable curry and the orange chicken. The mixed tempura is also really good because the batter tastes really fresh and well balanced. We always get Roman as our waiter and he's always on top of everything such as refills etc. so glad they opened up here and so close by our house.

Hubby and I stopped in at Aza Sushi. We hadn't been since the change in management. Today, the dining room was clean, our server Zack was very polite and friendly and the food was the freshest we've had in a long time anywhere. The bento box lunch plates were bomb! We ordered the steak teriyaki and salmon teriyaki with our choice of sides. We were offered complimentary fried fish and a fried matcha ice cream dessert with orange and honeydew melon slices. Every single bite was top notch quality. The chefs pay attention to detail! We will be return customers for sure! Thank you for showing us true hospitality and what on point customer service looks like in a world that's losing this kind of touch. 5 stars!!

Back here again for dinner with my mom as I have been ranting and raving to her about this place. Since the place has been opened they have been very consistent on their food and service. I definitely will come back to eat here. The food is always fresh and the service is always an excellent experience. Your condiments and drinks will always been refilled and you'll never have to ask. If u like a cozy music filled setting you'll like the ambiance of this place. Definitely worth checking out, you will not be disappointed.

Ambiance - it's not the largest restaurant but it probably feels that way because it was packed. They definitely have a stream of customers coming in. It's decorated with a modern black and wood interior design that feels nice. Service - this place has the nicest workers! We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of interacting with the sushi chefs. The chefs clearly set a high standard for service that is felt through the warm, welcoming hostess, the efficiency of the servers and the quality of their food. The chefs themselves were very kind and had a sense of humor, Food - the two specialty rolls we got were the Kenji and King of the Jungle. They were delightfully massive and delicious. The salmon tasted fresh and sauces balanced out the rolls well. We got an appetizer of California cut rolls, which were creamy with fresh-tasting avocado. For a "vanilla" dish that's the base of many of their special rolls, the quality was great. We also order the baked mussels which came at the end. They warned us that that would take awhile, joking that they were fishing them straight from the lake for us haha, but we didn't mind. They came fresh out of the oven and were beautifully rich and balanced well with the crunchiness of the garnish beneath the shell. The staff very generously gave us complimentary chicken katsu and deep fried green tea ice cream! We were so surprised! Even these complimentary dishes were delicious and thoughtfully presented. We are absolutely coming back.

Starting with a delicious and complimentary appetizer, I moved onto a a sushi roll called Break Time, a delectable, rice-free option that was fresh-tasting and a perfect option during the heat wave, packed with fresh fish to include tuna, salmon, yellowtail, crab, and more, served with a light and tangy jalapeno sauce, masago, and sesame seeds. I was also given complimentary fruit at the end, with ice cream also being offered, but being lactose-intolerant, I stuck with the ice cold, fresh orange slices.

This is the best sushi I've ever had in the US. It's no different in flavor from the sushi I had during my trip to Japan. The service is excellent and they always give us desserts and appetizers. I highly recommend this restaurant - if you like sushi/Japanese food.

Just finished lunch here and this might take the cake for the best sushi in the area. Not only was the fish super fresh, but there were so many unique flavors that you don't get at some of these cheaper establishments. From the appetizer to the dessert and of course the main courses, everything all around was fantastic. Steve and Joy and the rest of the crew really prepare a great experience and menu. The vibe at the sushi bar is top-notch. I had the sashimi lunch special and the Kauai roll. The Kauai roll wasn't just some basic roll either. It was an assortment of amazing fish in an amazing sauce. And the lunch special was Just incredibly well done. Their spicy tuna is the most unique spicy tuna I've had. It's not just some tuna mashed up with some Sriracha. And on their tuna pieces, there was this wasabi jalapeño sauce. That was delectable. Shame on me I was too excited to eat. I forgot to take any photos of the lunch special and roll. But here is desert.

We ordered a party tray for our sons birthday and it was beautifully made. For starters, we felt bad digging into it. We didn't want to ruin it. Also, the sushi was so fresh and delicious. It was worth it, we will be ordering from here in the future. The customer service was also top tier, they were so nice and accommodating to us. Definitely go check them out.

Aza is a hidden gem in Lake Elsinore. I'll recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sushi spot. The restaurant's clean with great ambiance. We were seated shortly after walking in. Khoi was our server and he was fantastic. He got us drinks and a complimentary appetizers while we wait for our food. He was present and made sure we were taken care of. I missed ordering miso so I asked if I could get one and bring it out with the sushi. I got exactly what I asked. Very attentive. Great staff. Our table ordered: cherry blossom kenji aza tonkotsu ramen shrimp tempura sushi and roll combo beef teriyaki bento orange chicken We didn't wait very long at all. Delicious! Big portion and the sashimi slices are thick compared to other sushi restaurants. Sashimi's fresh, didnt need to use soysauce at all. They have sushi that actually has flavor! Don't forget their fried ice cream before leaving! Overall great experience. This will be our go to sushi restaurant now and will bring friends and family from out of town. First time coming here..It has changed a couple of different times do was a little skeptical. I was greeted right away and sat in a booth. I was solo for lunch. I never write reviews but I had to give a shoutout to this place! I got the miso soup and "all nigiri." It was nine pieces of nigiri for $26.99 which is a great deal already. Chef's choice of fish. First, the ratio of fish to rice was the best I've ever experienced. Big pieces of fish and just a small bite full of rice. The fish was so yummy, a special shoutout to the salmon nigiri. The service was quick and easy! Ambiance was casual which I appreciated and I felt comfortable eating here alone. Also, I am unsure how long they will keep doing this but every table got a free appetizer of fried fish which was a great way to start the meal. read more

Out of the three rolls I purchased, two were so spicy they were uneditable and the other the shrimp was so foul tasting I hope I don't get sick from the bite I did take. Very disappointing. read more

Our meal was amazing! Started with an awesome free appetizer, then added spicy garlic edamame. Main course of assortment of rolls and sushi, chicken teriyaki meal and chicken curry. All while enjoying World Cup games on the TV! Service, Food and Ambiance outstanding ! Don't pay attention to Apple Maps saying they are closed. Excellent service by everyone there -- Especially the owner Steve who came to introduce himself at our table. I truly appreciate when owners of restaurants take pride in not just having a restaurant, but serving in it. The food was delicious. We had fried fish, miso soup, baked salmon and California rolls and ended with dessert! We didn't finish everything because my nephew and I have not reached the Big Back level but still very much enjoyed everything! Wonderful experience! The food was high quality, the staff was attentive & upbeat, and the vibe was nice. Every food item was reasonably priced, and we got way more food than we expected for it! This is the best restaurant in Lake Elsinore. It went into new ownership 8 months ago and the change is night and day. My boyfriend and I came here two hours to closing on a Friday night. The place was busy but we got seated right away. The environment and energy in here so so welcoming. The entire staff is in sync. I got the grilled chicken teriyaki entree & two special rolls. The fish is very fresh and every bite was packed with a punch of flavor. This is one of those spots where if you know you know and if you don't know well... then you wish you would've known. I have to say, I am impressed. I did not have high expectations for this little sushi place tucked in the corner of the parking lot!! The hamachi carpaccio was delicious. Fresh big pieces of flavorful yellowtail and perfect ratio of sauce to jalapeño/seasonings. The mackerel was also delicious and a good portion. Rolls and Agadashi Tofu were also on point. They even surprised us with a complimentary appetizer and dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. The sushi? Absolutely amazing. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful, you can really taste the quality in every bite. It's the perfect spot to treat yourself after a good gym session, too. Aza Sushi is an absolute gem! My husband and I have been to so many sushi spots all over Southern California, and wow -- this place truly caught us by surprise. Every roll was fresh and beautifully made, and the flavors were on point. Chef Steve, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming, and his crew was just as amazing. The food was so good and so fresh! We came over after a good workout at EOS and were met with a complimentary ahi fries appetizer and our food followed quickly. The presentation was beautiful and again, everything was delicious. After enjoying, they brought the bar even higher with a complimentary desert of fried matcha ice cream and fresh sliced fruit. We had a great experience at Aza Sushi. We tried the shrimp tempura roll, spicy garlic edamame, and the Break Time roll, all of them were fresh, flavorful, and well-made. The spicy garlic edamame had the perfect kick, and both rolls were great. They also brought out a complimentary ahi tempura, which was an unexpected bonus.
