Confession: I boycotted this place, it's true. This spot used to be home to my favorite breakfast place and I was heartbroken when I showed up to find it was a new restaurant. I vowed never to return.... Until I did. Staying local and had a day of constant misfortunes. Only place near us, so me and the family figured we'd give it a try. Well Guddamn... From the chips and salsa to the kids dessert, everything was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Chipotle burrito and my wife the fajtas. Truth... best mexican meals we'd both ever had, and were pretty picky. Margaritas were one of the best and the prices were great Add all that up to an amazing ambiance and some solid wait staff and you got yourself an amazing experience, one that we will be back for soon. read more

My second visit to El Reparo. The food was really amazing and everything I had hoped for. I was a weekly customer at La Casita in Berlin and have been missing that place and the people terribly. I really enjoy the menu at both locations and will continue to come to El Reparo dispute the terrible service. It took over ten minutes for someone to come by our table and ask about drinks. The server would walk off before we had the chance to finish asking for what we needed or wanted. NA beer and cheese dip was how we started. The cheese dip was wonderful. Then ordered our meals that also came out just perfect. With the meal I ordered I really needed extra napkins and there was no one in sight to even ask for a napkin. It wasn't a busy time of day and there were at least three servers. I am very disappointed by the lack of service. Another of chicken, was also good. Beef was tender. rice was perfectly cooked with garlic undertones. Bean paste was tasty with melted cheese, a first for me. Salad was disappointing. It was too dry. I was not a big fan of the creama cheese on top. Maybe they should try a tropical dressing , a few slices of avocado, and slices of Mexican cheese, very soft yet solid. Terrible customer service! We went for dinner with our 2 young children. We were left sitting at the table for over an hour waiting for our food, the waiter didn't even bother to check in once or notice there was a problem. Our order was completely overlooked, and they were very unapologetic about the situation. We had to take the food to go, and everything was terrible. The kids chicken tenders were so burnt that they were inedible, the chicken & steak fajitas were dry, and the burrito was thrown into the container in a big mess. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but it fell short on a couple of points. We went on a Friday night and it was crowded, but only waited for about 20 mins. The interior is tastefully done, not too over-the-top kitschy Mexican, as some places can be. The lighting was a bit too bright in the bar area. Three of the four diners in our party had margaritas, which were disappointing. We were told the Cuervo cocktails had been pre-made. They were weak and lacked flavor, more like watery limeade. We were mostly happy with our food, although three appetizers came out at once and my companions were mostly finished with theirs before my soup arrived. The fish tacos were good. I ordered the tacos birria, which were flavorful and accompanied by au jus, chopped onion and cilantro as well as some roasted chile salsa. These exceeded expectations especially since many restaurants fall short on this complex dish. I also had tortilla soup. It was just ok, a little lacking in flavor and it was not authentic. It was more like chicken soup with large chunks of avocado, zucchini and carrot, with strips of fried flour tortilla. Traditionally this has few vegetables, corn tortilla strips and is garnished with shredded cheese and sour cream. I had to ask for sour cream and was charged $2. We will probably return to this location since it is convenient. Hopefully they will work some of the kinks out, since it's only been open for a few months. The owners have a well-established sister restaurant several miles away. Service was decent, although out waiter seemed unnecessarily overwhelmed at times. Best Mexican food in the area. As much as we like their sister restaurant (Jalisco in North Conway) and the menus are identical, the food here is much better. Salsa is actually spicy unlike the salsa at Jalisco. Service is exactly the same. We recognize several of the servers from dining at Jalisco. Ambience is much better as they have renovated the old Glen restaurant and have a separate bar area instead of Jalisco which is in an old Wendy's. I expect that they will be very busy come ski season. Even though Jalisco is much closer to us, El Reparo is worth the extra drive. read more

What a great addition to the N. Conway cullinary options. Though bummed that Glen Juntion (my kids favorite breakfast place) is gone, its nice to see the train track is still in place. El Reparo has a vast menu and some great lunch options. Fresh squeezed lime was used in our margs and the torillias chips were fresh. Portions were very generous and the service was excellent. I appreciate that this is a new joint but hope the continue with their excellent start. This is a nice replacement to my old favorite, Cafe Noche...word to Tom! read more

We went to this new Mexican Restaurant in Glen New Hampshire October 4, 2023. It was very busy because it was National Taco Day but our wait was only 15 minutes. 5 adults and an infant. The service was quick but the food was SO SO good! It is quite an extensive menu, I had 3 carnita tacos with beans and rice, guacamole, spicy salsa. So very good. Couldn't finish it all. This restaurant is in what used to be a family breakfast place with an electric train running on an overhead track, so cute! It was a bit on the chilly side with the a/c but it was comfortable. We had ice tea but 1 person had a mango margarita that she said was delicious. The also have a few bowls of "penny" candy by the door. Staff is very friendly, the decor is very relaxing with an "adobe" inspired paint job. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!! We will definitely be going back read more
