Fish and chips. Terrible. Flavorless fries were hard.

Drinks were ok. Expensive. Service slow. It was busy. Ambiance was ok asked for Red Sox game. Never put on.

I love the vibe at wildcat tavern and visit a couple times a month during ski season. We sat in the bar/pub side and there was live entertainment as is usual there Saturday night. The food was excellent as well. The ambiance is very befitting of a picturesque mountain town and located just a few minutes drive from attitash and wildcat as well as black mountains. Will be back again soon.

The ambiance is in point. We ate in the bar area . The service was great as were the vibes . I had the pulled pork dinner accompanied by a beer from Tuckermans . My husband had the ravioli special and both were delicious

The staff are very nice. I attempted to move our reservation to 15 minutes later (online) and accidentally changed the reservation from 7 people to 2 people when I changed the time. The hostess was very understanding and took care of us right away. The waitress was very attentive. The menu had a very limited selection however; the food was very good..

We made reservations to eat and listen to live music two out of the past three Saturdays and let me tell you, the a Wildcat is the place to go for date night. We sat at the same table both times in front of a warm fire with a prime view of the musician. Each time, we shared an appetizer, entree, and dessert. The mushroom crostini is insanely good and I'll be ordering that every time. The wings and fries are delicious but nothing out of the ordinary. The steak tips melted in our mouth and the strawberry, rhubarb, apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream was so good that I Googled a recipe for it to make at Thanksgiving. The craft beer selection boasts several of my favorites and you can't beat fresh buck-a-shuck Duxbury oysters. For the only "needs improvement," I should disclose that I lived 30-years in Texas before my 10 in New England but for the sake of transparency, the one thing I won't order again is the candy apple ribs. Unique concept but missed the mark. They are tender but missing the flavor and texture from a bbq pit. I'm just not a fan of boiled, baked or slow-cooker ribs. Lucky for me, there are numerous 5-star dishes left to choose from! See y'all soon!

Does school vacation change prices? 2 draft beers = $24.00. Love to support local businesses, but this was a little too much for me.

What used to be a sketchy area is now filled with boutique shops, bustling businesses of tech and industry, arts, culture, and restaurants. One such upscale craft cocktail bar is Wolf Tree. If you didn't know it, you might feel as if you'd stepped into a hipster cocktail lounge in Brooklyn as you walk into Wolf Tree. They offer a variety of playful and inventive drinks. My friend was able to get a virgin cocktail but I just wish they had more than one single cocktail on the menu with vodka. With my choices somewhat limited, I went with a drink called "Friday I'm In Love": vodka, citrus, strawberry, mint, and bubbles. It looked beautiful when it arrived to the table and was a palate pleaser with sour, sweet, and minty flavors. They have weekly specials, classic-type cocktails, and what they call "happy meals" - a beer and shot combination. Don't fear, though, they still have Budweiser, Bud Lite, Miller High Life, and other draft beers for those feeling more traditional Upper Valley. We also ordered one of their charcuterie boards that featured local selections of cheese and meats, olives, pickled vegetables, cured mustards, and a baguette. A great selection but like most of Wolf Tree, a little on the expensive side. Overall I enjoyed my first trip to Wolf Tree and I'm glad hip places like this exist in the Upper Valley.

Seated right away. Good enough atmosphere. It's not Bailiwicks, but good enough... Their bar area is super lively, I like it a lot. We both *don't* love the one and only, unisex bathroom that is always out of hand soap and not always super clean (according to Boyfriend who had to lift the seat.......). They need to keep an eye on that... Waitress was ok. A very loud talker. Food was amazing! I had both their "specials" - the fiddle heads appetizer and the Lamb chops... which were also served with fiddle heads, and a delicious risotto (I didn't realize the lamb was also served with fiddle heads, if I had, I would have tried a different appetizer - but that's my fault because I'm sure she must have mentioned it). Everything was amazing. Lamb was so tender and perfectly flavored. Boyfriend had the hanger steak and duck fat fries and loved it too. Says it's some of the best fries he's had! I'm not much of a dessert person but I like trying stuff at restaurants where I know it will be homemade. I had some whipped cream and butterscotch dessert and it was great - couldn't finish as I was full, but no regrets. We will be back! I love that their menu changes seasonally, it keeps things very interesting.

Overall I found the entire experience to be lackluster compared to how it was in previous years. The first thing we saw when we arrived was the hostess and I was shocked by her outfit. Her dress was far too short and not appropriate at all for a holiday or the level of upscale dining we were paying for. We were seated immediately but then service dragged. We got bread long before our drinks. Our first course came quickly but the soups were lukewarm at best. I had the apple salad and found it to be extremely refreshing and not at all what I expected but in a good way! The star of the meal was dinner, however, they gave me the wrong side. The waiter did quickly remedy the situation but again for this level of dining I expected better. The prime rib was absolutely out of this world. The herb crust was amazing. However I was quite disappointed with the presentation it was dropped on top of the mashed potatoes and bled over everything. My mother had the thanksgiving dinner and she loved it. She especially liked the sausage stuffing which is not something she would normally eat and was impressed by it. The desserts were average and to be honest I again expected better. For three people we paid about $450. If I am spending that much money on dinner I want to be floored by the entire experience and I just wasn't. If I'm being completely honest the prime rib saved this review. So I hope the chefs get credit for it!!

When we told the waiter it was inedible he went to the kitchen and basically brought us back the same thing with the flame lowered... We asked for spoons to try to save it as we could see it a lost cause and they were not going to try and make it right I wanted to walk out and refuse to eat it but did not want to embarrass my friend.... Absolute waste of money and huge disappointment..
