This was our first time @ El Reparo, the menu is EXTENSIVE! We went on a Friday for dinner and the parking lot was packed but there is plenty of seating inside, so there was no waiting to be seated. I got a burrito Jalisco it is packed with steak, shrimp, and chicken, and topped with queso and chorizo and pineapple rings. This burrito is meat packed so putting some salsa, refried beans and queso really makes it fantastic. Richelle got the Arroz Con Camarones, perfect for her, she loves the queso, lots of shrimp. The waitstaff was wonderful, food was ready without much wait after ordering. We got a side of refried beans, we like them because there is some red chili spice to them. After trying 3 other restaurants in Greensburg on a Sunday at lunch and discovering they were closed, I ended up at this Mexican restaurant. I should have tried it first because it was really busy but I was able to walk in and sit at the bar. First of all, I ordered a sweet tea and they had it! Not only did they have it, but it was marvelously made like I would expect from a Mexican restaurant in the South. Next, the salsa and chips arrived. The salsa was a little thin but had a good vinegar taste to it. For my entree, I chose the Burrito la Racqueta. I believe that is how you spell it. It is a burrito stuffed with pork tenderloin simmered in some kind of citrus tasting beer. 2 burritos come on the plate smothered in queso and Pico de Gallo. This was one of the best and most unique burritos I've ever had from a Mexican restaurant. The pork was mostly tender except in a few end places. This is our go to Mexican restaurant between Indy and Cincy. They can make a really good Mexican style shrimp and octopus cocktail. That is alway the sign that a restaurant knows what they are doing. Consistent and good. I would recommend it to a friend. read more

After "2" stops in the last few months I figured it was time to give this place a little love. There is an El Reparo in Liberty IN that I love dearly but this place is a close second. Service has always been spot on with never a shortage of chips and salsa or drinks. The menu has a large variety of Mexican dishes that you would expect at most Mexican restaurant along with a few of their own. Salsa can be a hit or miss at some places but here it is top notch. The Barito Jalisco comes with chicken, steak and shrimp inside while topped with chorizo, cheese and pineapple's. Need I say more. The perfect mix of spicy topping it off with that sweet pineapple. The margaritas have wonderful flavor and the beers are always cold. Not much more you can ask for. read more

I am from Greensburg and El Reparo was one of my favorite restaurants. I live away now and went this weekend while back in town and was so disappointed. Want my opinion? I'm a road warrior so here goes. Get a Top Shelf margarita for $15.00. Totally worth it. Better than most. I had Authentic tacos. The Chorizo is outstanding! Get that. The steak and Al Pastor were better than average. Chorizo is it. Chips and salsa good, but my palate like really hot so ask for the Tomatillo that comes with tacos. It's spicy and makes the nose run a little. Nice Mexican restaurant. The cars in the parking lots speaks loudly on a Wednesday evening. I sat at the bar. Service is good after getting seated. When visiting Greensburg IN, there's not much around but this was a good choice. My team and I had dinner here and the food overall was good. The margaritas are delicious and strong. I couldn't even finish mine but it was good. The mild salsa was very bland. I wish I would have read the tips on mixing the hot and mild together before trying it. I had the 3 choice combo-a beef taco, a beef enchilada and a chalupa. A little bland is the only way to describe it. But the margaritas are great!! read more

Stopped here for the first time. They ask you if you want mild or hot salsa , I got mild. But there was absolutely zero spice and kinda bland, so I asked for spicy one as well, and It about burned my mouth off! So I mixed them together, and that was perfect! El Reparo is one of, if not, the best restaurant in Greensburg. Good food, amazing service, and low prices... what else do you want? Their menu is huge and has every combination of mexican food you could ever want. The lunch combos are great and the portions are appropriate. The best thing at El Reparo is the service. I don't remember ever having to wait on drinks, chips and salsa, or someone asking me how i was doing. These guys work hard for the money. The only real area for improvement is the bar area. While you can order any drink from a table... if you just want to sit at the bar with a few friends and throw back some margaritas there is only going to be room for about 8-10 people. read more

Found this place on Yelp while traveling from Indy to Cincy. It's not far off the interstate at all. We stopped in on a Saturday and it was actually pretty busy for lunch. It's decorated well for a Mexican restaurant in central Indiana. I was disappointed with the chips and salsa. The chips were defiantly out of a bag and I don't think they made the salsa fresh either. It was bland and no heat to it at all. There was no hot sauce on the table either. Our meals were flavorful and a good size. Service was good and prices were normal for Mexican in Indiana. I saw someone else say that the Mexican here was better than SoCal.....I don't know where they ate in SoCal, but it was the wrong place. SoCal Mexican is WAY better than this. We just got back from LA and San Diego last week so I know it was much better than this. I love Mexican food and eat a lot of it too. I would probably eat here again. Food is awesome. I have tried a few things and all the food was good. Salsa and chips are decent if you get spicy salsa and add some cheese dip for a little extra. It is very loud in the restaurant and I have had problems with waiters in the past taking a really long time to get our order, but all in all I would go there again. I consider El Reparo the best overall sit down dinner restaurant in Greensburg. While I'll hit up Waffle House for breakfast and the Carriage on the Square Smokehouse for a quick and tasty lunch, El Reparo is a very good sit down restaurant for lunch, dinner and special occasions. Before I retired it was the restaurant i took clients to in Greensburg. Tell em its your birthday and you'll have the staff provide you with a sombrero and they'll lead the restaurant in a chorus of happy birthday. Service is outstanding and sometimes I fill up too much on the salsa and chips or Queso with warm fresh chips. They also have takeout and I have ordered their Queso and chips for football Sundays. I hear they also make a mean Margarita although I don't drink so I don't have any personal experience with that. read more
