I have ordered carry out from here twice recently. Food was delivered quickly, portions were generous, and the food was still in good shape (hot, crispy, fresh, etc.) when it arrived. Their prices are also great. I had a burrito on one occasion and tacos on the other. Food was tasty and I will definitely order from them again. I've never been to the restaurant, so i can't say anything about the ambience or service, but the food is good and the prices are fair. read more

I was on my way home from a conference and the lunch time hunger hit. However, I wasn't feeling like fast food and drove by Riviera Maya as they didn't look very busy. When I walked in, I was met with all kinds of vibrant colors and very upbeat cultural music, which was very fun. I was immediately welcomed and sat and was brought some chips and fresh salsa. I found a new favorite in Columbus! Originally planning to just get take-out here, we ended up eating in. There was so many good looking drinks on the menu, I ordered a big margarita drink with a corona beer in it. I was definitely satisfied with my choice. One thing I love about dining in at a Mexican restaurant is the free chips and salsa they bring around which was very good here. Chips were warm and fresh tasting. Dinner was the special dinner platter which was way more food than what we could both handle, but very delicious nevertheless. Came with a chalupa, taco, chile relleno, tamole and an enchilada with rice and beans on the side. Good to order if you don't know what else to get. After all was said and done, we had to walk off the food and drinks since we had so much. read more

The best Mexican restaurant in town. They have amazing customer service and really good food. I always get the same thing every time which is arroz con pollo and it's delicious everytime. I'm so worried about this restaurant. I know the mall is closing and has been bought out but this is my all time favorite Mexican restaurant. The tacos are my absolute favorite. The meat is perfect it's not so greasy that the hard shells turn soggy but just enough to have amazing flavor. I always order the #10 combo with three beef hard shell supreme tacos with rice & beans. My wife loves the chili relleno. I'm pretty sure I could eat here every night. The wait staff though is not very outgoing. I wish they were a little more friendly since we do come here every week. They are however very efficient and I've never had an empty glass or any issue that they didn't fix immediately. read more

AWESOME FOOD, HUGE PLATES, GOOD CHIPS, CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP -- menu needs no explanation, its a Mexican restaurant with all the usual Mexican dishes and then some Service is always attentive, and will quickly reload your chips. The ethnicity of the servers also pairs up with the cuisine, something that doesn't happen too often even in authentic restaurants in midwest small towns. This place is awesome. This place is freaking huge, like its THE ANCHOR for this shopping mall. Generates at least 20% of the traffic for the mall, evident by the distribution of cars you'll usually see in the parking lot. Pro-Tip: Do some mall walking to walk it all off and checkout the creepiness of at least 50% vacancy of the store locations! They have a scale by the mall entrance to the restaurant if you're curious. read more

Atmosphere: Riviera Maya is beautifully decorated! Really made me feel like I was in Mexico. Music was great! The employees were funny and extremely welcoming. Service: Our server was nice and quick with taking our order and bringing out our food in a timely manner. Food: I ordered the taco dinner. (Steak) unfortunately, my meat was burned and I felt as though the tortillas were not fully done. The beans were really dry! However, the rice was really good! You get chips and salsa when you first arrive...the chips are amazing! However, the salsa is alright. Overall, the service and environment was amazing!! The staff are attentive but not obnoxious....always patient when you need a few more minutes. If you desire delicious and plentiful food - this is your place. The food is always fresh and hot and delivered quickly. We've had tacos, fajitas, burritos, chimichangas, burritos, queso, guacamole, and more and have yet to be disappointed. I am a freak about wanting things hot (like ghost pepper hot) so I would have thrown a ghost pepper in the salsa, but for 90%of people their hottest salsa was great. Very good menu, a step above the average Mexican joint. I had fajitas with scallops and shrimp, which were very well grilled. It made a nice meal to sHare, and it didn't feel Chok-a-block or routine. Everything else was quite good, quickly served. The restaurant is run by an exceptionally cool staff, nice aNd responsive. It was my granddaughters birthday aNd they were funny and fun while they sang and they gave her a free dessert. Gracias amigos! So nice! You'll find the restaurant in a mostly empty mall but it's well worth the visit. Such a treat to find a staff that would let us sit around afterwards [i was with my geandsigher during a long hospiral visit, they gave us time to visit at a table after we aTe.]. Awful. One of the worst Mexican places I've ever been to. Which is very confusing to me since the other reviews are so good. I have a feeling it's because hardly anyone here has ever had anything that even resembles real Mexican food. We ordered the taco, burrito and enchilada combination platter. It was basically just gross ground beef wrapped in different ways. Nothing else in the tortillas except for dry, untasty and very aesthetically unappealing ground beef. I despise wasting food but the beef made us lose our appetite and we left half of the food on the plate. Salsa tasted like the kind you buy in the store, except with same fresh cilantro added. At least they added the fresh cilantro though. Service was pretty poor. We sat there for quite some time trying to get someone's attention so we could pay and leave. read more
