    7 mares soup

This is one of my favorite place I have ever gone. I frankly live in Miami and do not mind driving 1.5 hours just to have the "Sopa Siete Mares" (7Mares). The ambient is very good. The atmosphere is very safe. The service is very respectful and the food is just amazing just to say the least.

Wow is this little food truck banging. Talk about authentic Mexican tacos in felt like I was back in Cali slappin $2 tacos except these are $3 so worth it. Sauces on the side are great for little kick and green is a milder one. Wow the corn tacos are just perfect and filled with meat ! Highly recommended & open late !

I came here because the Tacos Al Carbon line across the parking lot was a madhouse and I was too hungry to wait, and I'm actually glad I did. The menu is smaller and they offer more delicacy-type meats like Tripe, beef tongue, and pork stomach along with classic favorites like carne asada, pastor, and chorizo. I got one each of carne asada, beef tongue and pastor. All of them were very good and generously stuffed with meat, onions and cilantro, the standout for me being the pastor. None of them were covered in the web of cheese that garnishes Tacos Al Carbon tacos, which I appreciated since any street taco in Mexico that I've ever had is never served that way. I thought the corn tortillas were a little stale with crunchy edges that suspiciously felt like they had been reheated. But I will overlook that aspect for the well seasoned meat held inside. There were some good accompanying hot sauces as well. But don't go crazy with the bright red one with the funky smell if you don't want to set your mouth on fire. El rey del taco held their own and I am happy to add another go-to taco truck to my list.

Good food , great service , I love coming here occasionally tacos are a bit smaller but the gringas and burrito are decent size.

I always eat so fast, I always forget to take a pic! Lol

Unfortunately I refuse to go here anymore. There are no bathrooms. I walked across the street after eating my tacos to use the bathroom at cvs. I walked back to discover they towed my car and the only explanations were arm shrugs and saying the owner of the property did it. I'd understand if the place was swamped and yes I should've just drove my car after eating my tacos to use the bathroom, but it seemed quicker with the intersection I returned to an empty parking lot and no customers around. Absolutely no reason to just tow my car. I've been coming here for years and loved bringing friends and family here to enjoy. Not anymore :(

Love love love! I finally got to try their quesadilla flor de calabaza (literally the blossoms of squash or pumpkin). It was amazing! It's a crispy tortilla pressed with cheese and sour cream with the blossoms. On the side, it comes with grilled onions, radishes, a lime and a spicy red sauce. It sounds a little weird but it's actually delicious! Love El Rey De Taco! Super friendly staff, amazing food, affordable prices, good portions, and convenient hours/location!

So they moved to a new location in front of Braman Honda. Food is ok. One thing I didnt like if the FLIES!!!!!! Get a zapper or something please! They are not new and for them not to take care of this problem is not nice! I will give them a second chance after they read review. When the guy does catering he serves amazing! Try them!

Tacos al pastor with green sauce

It really doesn't get any better than this Taco Truck!!! This is by far one of the best of not the best taco truck in town and I have tried several taco shops, and this one is simply AMAZING!!! I will first start with the ehh moment, not while it may seem a bit sketchy due to the area/ location (which is located in lake worth just slightly south of the corner of lake worth boulevard and military trail). However, do not let this discourage you - just a few feet away, there is another taco: Mexican food joint which is very popular by the name "tacos al carbon" (check out our review about this as well). El Rey de los Tacos has been pretty authentic, even for my family from California which agree as well. The prices are amazing, you can technically feed a family of 4 for less than $20 - and each dish has amazing flavor! I typically eat the tacos al pastor which is spiced pork with cilantro and pineapples. Love these tacos and to add a bit of level 11 flavor - they give you these onions that I add to the tacos. But.... But.... You can not forget the green sauce!!! This green sauce is not hot, has just enough kick and flavor - and I can honestly tell you that I have not been able to find this little green sauce anywhere else. They are the only ones that carry it and is a must on every dish. It's the perfect stop for a quick bite - and I promise you that you will not be disappointed!

The bus reminds me of the part of Mexico that tourists don't typically see.

I am a lover of all Authentic Mexican cooking. And maybe I'm a little bias because it's also my heritage, but there's just something about a beautifully executed taco that just makes me happy from within. It was rainy and gross outside so naturally I was craving something out of the ordinary... Tripa or Tripe (yes intestines), has a distinct but wonderful flavor.. a little crunchier on the spectrum of other taco fillings. Top it with cilantro, onion, cabbage & limón & you're in heaven. Unfortunately they were out: sad day. For some its an acquired taste, but because it's not a traditional ingredient, few dare try it. I was surprised to see they also offered Lengua/Tongue, Ojo/Eye, Cabeza/Head for only 50 cents more than traditional meats. I think it takes quite a bit of talent to make a meal from the unwanted parts of ANY animal. Everything is edible, so why waste it! The average price for a taco is just $2. The tortillas were authentic Mexican corn: absolutely fresh, and perfectly toasted. I tried the carne asada, which had the perfect amount of meat and toppings. The meat was tender, which is important because I hate feeling like I'm swallowing a wad of un-chewed meat. The barbacoa was unattractive to me.. I'm not used to additional seasoning of this meat after initially cooked. It didn't possess what I consider to be a "natural" barbacoa flavor, so I don't recommend it. The service is fast, the food is served hot and cooked to order. I'll be back, just not for barbacoa.

I think this is going to make a lot of people mad but this place has the best tacos I've ever had. Don't expect any grand entrance here this is just no frills really good food. The tacos are amazing! What really puts them over top is the roasted onions. I don't know how they do it but they're well marinated soft and just beautiful onions that they put on the side of the tacos. I can't get enough of this taco truck. Please check this place out. It's on the corner of military and Congress behind the Tacos Al Carbon truck. They have a really good cantaloupe water too.

The interior decor may have changed but my opinion of this place hasn't. The decor is tex-mex cute and colorful. The service was friendly but absolutely clueless. The food was reasonably priced for portion size but the quality was really low. We enjoyed the complimentary basket of fried flour tortilla chips and the salsa was basic but okay. The Carne Asada Nacho platter was disappointing in the ingredients. It was supposed to have guacamole on it but it was more of an avocado cream and very liquidy. The asada meat was seasoned well but it was chewy in a bad way. The chicken burrito was heavy but full of too much rice and it was lacking seasoning. The Tamale Platter was nice and freshly made. The rice and beans on the side was not housemade but from a can. I think the new owners are trying to cut too many corners and will not get repeat customers. There was just nothing special about anything at this place and even their only hot sauce that can be added for some heat to the meal is a watered down green tomatillo mild sauce or a red pepper mild sauce which both are served in a cold squirt bottle unless you pay almost $2 for a small roasted jalapeño. I will pass on a return visit and look for new authentic Mexican fare.
