The food was really good regardless of that, luckily they had three orders of lamb chops left so some of us ordered the rest of that. I like that when you order a steak it already comes with two sides. Other steakhouses you would have to order sides à la carte. The cocktails were amazing and service was great. Only thing that was a little weird was we had two birthdays and asked the manager if they happened to do a complimentary birthday dessert or something for the two birthday guest. He responded politely with we don't do any birthday desserts but you can order champagne since it's a celebration. Mind you it's a party of 12 and each couple's bill was at least 250+. Nonetheless, we had a great time and money was well spent, definitely worth trying out!

The house brownie-cheesecake was also outstanding--rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced without being overpowered by chocolate. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by a mistake with our appetizer, the Duck Confit. Alexa handled the situation professionally, courteously apologized, and did everything within her ability to address the issue. However, I was disappointed that the restaurant manager never came to our table to personally acknowledge or apologize for the mistake. To make matters worse, there was no acknowledgment or farewell from the host as we exited. This was my wife's birthday dinner, an occasion that deserved a higher level of attention and hospitality from the management team. Alexa demonstrated what exceptional customer service looks like, but the lack of management follow-through and acknowledgment ultimately affected our overall experience. For these reasons, Steak & Tonic receives 3 out of 5 stars from us. The food and Alexa's service were excellent, but management's handling of the situation fell short of the standard I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. We were seated right away luckily due to another big party not showing up for their reservation. So with Mother's day, you would have thought they planned better. Going on Mother's day, I was mentally prepared for delays but not like this. Also, the food took over an hour. Smaller parties that were sat after us received their food faster than ours and our food didn't come out hot. The food itself was OK, not very seasoned and bland. I took half my meal to go so I could hook it up myself for breakfast tomorrow. Bright side: our waitress Crystal was very sweet and had great recommendations for our meals. I enjoyed her service. They had a limited menu but allowed us to add veggies to the eggs which was nice. I'd be willing to go back on a less busier day to see how the food and speed of cooking really are.
