Enchilada plate.

I'm giving 3 stars because the enchiladas were tasty. I ordered the enchiladas dinner and 2 pollo tamales from here through Uber Eats. My tamales were wrong and not t what I ordered, they drenched my salad in salad dressing, it was unedible. They dumped my rice on top of my enchiladas so it was all melted into the cheese. I was ticked about that, over all probably won't order from here again

ordered Carne asada nachos no pico de gallo. They put pico de gallo told them twice

Caldo Tlalpeyño

I have to be honest, I was really surprised by the overall review of this little place. I've been coming to this little gem for years, tucked away in this easy to miss shopping center. It was averaged sized, possibly understaffed, but they definitely take care of you. They bring out a bowl of chips and salsa and take your order for water right away. The iced tea here is to die for! My boyfriend ordered water, but as soon as he had a sip from my cup of iced tea he was sold on it! My mom comes here often and she recommended the caldo Tlalpeyño, which is rich chicken soup with chile chipotle, hearty pieces of avocado, garbanzos&cheese, rice and handmade corn tortillas. On previous occasion I've had their tacos, caldo de res, and milanesa all which I also enjoyed. Julio, the chef, is also always willing to remove things from your order that you don't like. The staff is always amicable, they may not always be quick but they are always kinds. I don't usually give out 5 stars but this hole in the wall definitely deserves it. When near it makes sure you stop by!

They have a vast menu! Always fresh. Always clean

I love the menudo at this place. However, you have to come early in the morning before it runs out. This locale is usually clean and the service is fast. The prices are also low. I would recommend it. Despite there only being one waitress per shift their service is great. No complains!

If you like authentic Mexican food like menudo, wet burrito's and tortas, this quaint little place is worth the try. They have 8 booths (sits 4) and 2 long tables (sits 8). Definitely inexpensive for good ol' Mexican food.

Demanding as Mother's Day, when most places are overwhelmed, they still managed to deliver an experience that felt intentional and heartfelt. Despite the long wait, it was clear that the demand far exceeded expectations, yet the service never lost its warmth. At one point, she even offered me an agua fresca as a gesture of kindness while I waited. I respectfully declined, understanding that a day like Mother's Day comes with heavy volume and pressure, and that delays are simply part of supporting a small business doing its best under strain. What stood out most was the owner's presence. She carried herself like a mother to everyone there serving each customer as if they were family. She stepped away from her own personal time to make sure other families were fed and cared for. That kind of sacrifice and commitment is not just business; it's cultural preservation in motion. TACOZ brings authentic heritage flavors to the city in a way that feels irreplaceable. The tamales, carnitas, and overall food experience were deeply rooted in tradition and full of flavor that reflects generations of culture. People should understand that moments like this are not about convenience they are about supporting something real. On busy days especially, patience is part of respecting the work being done. Instead of criticism, there should be appreciation for what it takes to keep a small, culture-driven business alive and thriving. In the end, TACOZ delivered more than food. It delivered a connection to heritage, family, and community. That kind of experience is something worth valuing and protecting. Keep Going gurl ! I'll be back and so many of your audience ! One person doesn't bring down a team ! Thank You ! *Your food brought tears to my family knowing they will never be able to go back to Michoacán for several reason but was able to revisit them once more !

Both meats were good, but a little under-seasoned for my personal taste. I also tried the Jamaica agua fresca. It was refreshing, but I'd personally give it about a 2 out of 5. On the other hand, the salsa macha was really good and added a lot of flavor to the meal. The place is a bit small for dining in, especially when it gets busy, but the customer service was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. I'd definitely come back again because I noticed several other menu items I'd like to try next time.

It had a lot of flavors and it came with a lot of meat. There was also a lot of side condiments to add to your pozole. The salsa macha was spicy and made the pozole taste even better! Green Asada wet burrito- 4/10. The only reason why I give this burrito a 4 is because they were really stingy with their meat. My husband dissected the burrito only to find 6-7 small pieces of meat. We basically got a bean and rice burrito. This was the only disappointment, but other then that everything was very good.

Of the many options I just went with a brew and a quesadilla I decided on getting a pastor one and it was super yummy very flavorful and a very good size it came with some rice and beans as well both of them were delicious as well making for a yummy little combo plate. But the real kicker here is that avocado salsa that was soo good and just added some delicious zest to a already really yummy quesadilla but the other sauces were good too especially the red one it seemed more like a chili oil than a hot sauce but either way it was quite yummy! Overall this was a good time and some much needed yummy food! Hopefully I make it back here again at some point for something scrumptious as well as a good time!
