New favorite truck in SR! I love their tacos and quesabirria tacos. The way they cook their carne asada is just how I like it! So much flavor, crispy and juicy at the same time. They don't skimp on any meat either. I wish I could eat this every day. So tasty and delicious. They're very fast and ordering is always efficient. 10/10. Location is great too because of all the parking at the gas station so it's never too packed when I go. read more

Traveling and found this place on DoorDash! I got the birria tacos and wow they were good although it didn't come with consome. But even without they were great. My partner ordered the nachos and they weren't my favorite but they enjoyed them. Glad I tried this place! read more

Some of my favorite tacos I've gotten to try! It's a truck that shares a parking lot with a gas station. Tried their carnitas and al pastor tacos with everything on it. Highly recommend this if you're in the area!! Super quick service and some outdoor seating available. Would come back again. read more

I was so hungry I ate the food without taking a picture. Listen up!! Santa Rosa and all surrounding neighboring cities...you guys have some of the best Mexican street food this side of Tijuana and Los Angeles. Their tacos are FIRE and next time I drive through this area, I'm buying $50 worth of food to eat here, take home for dinner, and have enough for the next day. Do NOT sleep on this. Excellent good most of the time, street tacos carnitas are always on point!!!the asada super burrito however is not very consistent, sometimes cooked amazing plenty of teak other times loaded with to much rice and not enough steak!! We've driven by this taco truck quite a few times and finally decided to stop and try it a little while ago. (The map puts it near Airport Blvd but it's actually located at the gas station at the corner of the Hoen Frontage Road and Farmers Lane) The employees are friendly and the prices are similar to other taco trucks/Mexican restaurants in the area. The tacos were pretty good but not outstanding. The chicken super burrito for $15 was quite good, and Husband enjoyed his chorizo breakfast burrito quite a bit too. I wanted a horchata but not for $5, so I didn't get it. I will probably stick with Delicias Elenita for my tacos, but the burrito was great. read more

This is some of the best taco and burrito I've had in years! And that includes LA. There's something super satisfying about their grilled tortilla -- the cheese quesadilla was very satisfying and good. The melty cheese was chewy and delicious. They had run out of rice -- but the burrito with Carnitas with guac, beans and cheese was still super satisfying. So, juicy and the seasoning was really good. I'm not sure what they did, but it was just this amazing, savory, juicy, flavorful burrito! The birria taco (isn't beef) was also super delicious -- like the beef version of carnitas. Amazing food at amazing prices. I've been eating here religiously the past few weeks for lunch. They make consistently great food, that comes out very quickly, and always fresh/warm. The meat is cooked to perfection. Beating any other taco meat I've had from local restaurants/food trucks. The menu features some classic favorites from tacos, burritos, and nachos with choices for the kiddos. Such as French fries or hot dog. The prices? Can't be beat. With ALL this they STILL have the lowest prices. The owners/workers have taken the time to ask for my name and to get to know me, making it a friendly atmosphere. I had this food truck delivered. I love a good quesabirria taco and I was in the mood for some. I placed an order and received in total 6 quesabirria tacos, side of beans , consume and one carne asada taco. The food came quick and was pretty warm when I received it. The food looked fresh and tasty. Fortunately it was very good. The birria was soft and tender. The salsa had good flavor and the consume had a good kick to it. I will say that I was a bit disappointed by the beans, typically you receive refried beans as your side. These were regular boiled beans, which are not my personal favorite. read more

Chanced upon this food truck partnered with the Parliament Brewing Company. Ordered two 2-taco plates and a carnitas quesadilla. I went to Parliament Brewing to celebrate a friend's birthday. The patio seating was lovely, the sun was shining, and behold -- they even had a taco truck. The truck looked very clean, which I loved. I think I heard the woman taking orders say that it was a brand new truck. The name on the truck read, "El Compa," but my receipt came from 'Taco San Juan.' There were no prices on their menu, so you just had to guess and hope that you had enough money for your order. I thought this was a little strange. I was optimistic and very hungry so I ordered a veggie burrito and added jalapeños and pico de gallo for $3 ($16 total) , something I thought would be simple, but it turned out to be a hassle. Even though the veggie burrito normally comes with rice, beans, cheese, avocado, and salsa. I received a bean, cheese, avocado, and sour cream burrito. Notice they added sour cream but forgot the pico and jalapeños that I paid extra for. They remade my burrito but only with the missing ingredients. So I got a second burrito with just rice, jalapeños, and pico de gallo. This has to be the strangest burrito I've ever had. Who would order that?! If I opened both burritos and put them together I would have gotten closer to what I ordered (I don't eat sour cream and that doesn't normally come in their veggie burritos) , but I was really unhappy with the two weird burritos I got. One was all the missing toppings, and the other was a variation on a veggie burrito. The quality of the ingredients was really good (the tortillas are bomb!), so I was very disappointed with the franken-meal that I had to deal with. I'm not saying that I wouldn't eat here again. Everything tasted good. I'm just saying that I was disappointed with the food I received. If you have any food allergies, you should be wary of this place since you can't be sure that they will serve you what you actually ordered. Last, they use Styrofoam plates, which is terrible for the environment. I wish they stuck to paper plates like before. UPDATE: I posted this review just 15 minutes ago, and the business gave me a refund for my burrito and said they would talk to their staff! Wow, that was so fast, I had to change my review from 3 stars to 4 for the customer service alone! read more

I was looking for tacos in the airport area and found this place so I gave it a try. Service was fast, friendly and thorough with my requests. I ordered their street tacos (2 asada,1 carnitas) and they were perfect! The meat was flavorful and not over cooked like you can get with some trucks. Their green salsa is pretty spicy so if your prefer mild, just ask. This place is a little gem. Definitely will return! read more

Amazing! We've seen this food truck on our way home the last month and finally decided to try it and I'm so happy we did! Honestly best taco truck I've been to in a while and it helps having it only a mile away. Our family got the quesabirria tacos and Al pastor. The food was made super quick and tasted just as fresh when we got home. Only down side was there was no consume left for the birria but we also came late in the eve. I'll be blunt. I used to rank El Roy as the best taco truck in town. Tacos San Juan is the new winner, without question. I've passed by this truck, in an out-of-the- way location a hundred times and never gave it any thought. That was a huge mistake. I could eat their Santa Rosa burrito as my only food the rest of my life. They're friendly and fast. They have great covered seating. This place is absolutely worth your time. I rate them as Ok according to the Yelp rating system. This Tacos San Juan in Santa Rosa California has service staff that graciously answered all our questions promptly which made a good first impression upon us. This Tacos San Juan did what they agreed to do, they did it for the price they had agreed to up front, they did it within the time they said they would, they followed the pandemic rules, their food was satisfactory in quality and quantity, and their customer service was adequate. According to the Yelp ratings' definitions, Three Stars is "Ok". That to me is an acceptable rating of a business that does day in and day out what they are in business to do. It is certainly not a negative review. Four and Five-Stars to me is when a business goes over and beyond what they are in the business to do. To me, One and Two-Star Ratings are for when a business fails to do what they are in the business to do. I would have rated them higher if they had a Veterans Discount. Went with 2 tacos de Carnitas, 1 Asada and 1 Al Pastor. Tacos are medium sized not your regular sized tortilla or your super small street taco size. @ 2.50 a taco I'd say it is a good deal! Flavor profile for the Al Pastor , the Asada was good and the Carnitas flavor was on point (I prefer my Carnitas crispier than most so next time I'll ask for them to let it grill a little longer). I got the "spicy" green salsa it was good and complemented the tacos well but I wouldn't call it spicy. They are set up on Aero Dr. It is a new option for those of us that work close to the airport. Truly my favorite truck. An unbelievably large menu, including Mexican egg dishes which I cannot stop ordering. Service is great. But even better is the incredible food. Birria is cooked just right, as soft and tender as butter and NOT dry nor stringy. Beans and rice are just so tasty but I must reserve my highest praise for the chilaquiles. I ordered 2 carnitas tacos with a side of rice and beans. They gave me enough for three people. I have never seen such a large plate of Mexican food before. Also, they gave me a generous amount of meat. The price of my meal was around $18. While we waited, they served us a big bowl of thin, crispy chips with a side of tasty salsa. I felt quite full after eating these chips. My sister ordered a taco plate too. She gave me some of her taco that had mango bits on top. My husband ordered a taco salad. It was not crowded at all when we visited. Then again, the restaurant was so spacious that it's nearly impossible for it to get too crowded. Besides the food, I enjoyed how they didn't have glass windows. You can see the street clearly and people passing by. I was hesitant to review this restaurant because I don't want it to get so packed that I have to wait one hour to get a seat. If this La Rosa were located in the East Bay, it would get packed fast! I'm glad it's in a city where nobody really visits. You won't regret visiting. I hope to visit again in the near future when I am in the area.

I have no issue with the fee itself. My problem is that the sales tax is calculated on the total after the fee is added. The credit card fee should have nothing to do with the tax amount. Additionally, the suggested tip amounts are also calculated based on the total that includes both the sales tax and the credit card fee. Most customers expect tip percentages to be based on the pre-tax cost of the food and drinks. As a result, you end up giving a lot higher tip than you intended to. Because the payment screen does not show an itemized bill, it's very difficult to verify the charges or calculate a custom tip unless you remember the exact prices of everything you ordered. I hate when a restaurant's billing practice isn't transparent to customers.

It had a nice light sweetness from the mango and the heat came in at the end but didn't punch too hard. It was a good amount of food as well so I was able to save some for later. Solid meal, would be interested to try things on location.
