Best carne asada I've ever had--hands down. Won't order carne asada anywhere else!! The meat was beautifully marinated and unbelievably tender. Both the enchilada and taco were generously stuffed full of meat. Tender tortillas, and the beans were perfectly creamy. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, like it was made with real care and pride. There were a lot of to-go orders flying out the door, which tells you something right away--but we dined in and received absolutely impeccable service. The owner cracked open a bottle of their homemade hot sauce for us to try... very yummy!!! sweet with a little heat - it was so good we added a bottle to our order to take home. Please support this long-standing local business. Great people, amazing food, and the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Location is in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. The staff were very friendly and attentive, offering us things like coffee refills and more napkins without us asking. They said that any dish you leave the meat out of is vegetarian, and they also have the McDougal section and vegan sections on the menu. We were given complimentary chips and salsa. The salsas were quite good and flavorful: one mild and two spicy. We ordered the chilaquiles omelet and the heuvos divorciado. After the tasty salsas, we were surprised at how bland the meals were. The rice was very good, and the beans were good, but the omelet, the guacamole, the eggs, red and green sauces were all incredibly bland. I'm guessing most of the rave reviews are not for vegetarian dishes? The outdoor seating is only a few tables out front, but it was still a nice option on a beautiful day and there was plenty of shade. read more

Stayed in Windsor for a weekend and craving a good Mexican food. Of course, this place comes up and give it a try. The place is small, but you can tell it is popular based on the how crowded it was inside and outside. Just ordered 2 breakfast tacos for to go. The only thing was the food took a bit long, but it seemed like that for everyone. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I got my food and ate in my car and it was worth the wait. Both tacos were loaded and very tasty. Almost went in for the breakfast burrito, but didn't want to wait. I'll definitely get that next time I'm staying in the area. read more

Was craving a breakfast burrito and was looking for something reasonably priced. This spot was pretty decent for what you get. The burrito is huge. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was amazing!!! It was flavorful and the salsa paired very well it! They also give you some chips along with the salsa, which is rare these days! Service was nice and friendly, the food came out quickly. The actual inside of the restaurant is cute, many pictures and feels very much family owned. This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant--it might even be my favorite restaurant, period! The staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, and the service is always excellent. Ambiance - Small restaurant with a handful of tables, located in a strip mall - plenty of parking Sunday night. Food - Expansive menu with healthier and vegetarian options, while still having the a variety of meat/seafood dishes. Ordered a carne asada regular burrito (convenient website ordering, but disappointed that online it was an extra $6 for lengua?) and a vegetarian burrito for pickup. I usually savor the meat in my burrito, but the flavors of the beans, cheese, and rice were phenomenal - best I've had in a burrito. Would appreciate if they had more cilantro-less salsas, but overall solid burrito. Will definitely be back! Rounding up from 4.5 stars. Service - was quick and efficient picking up. read more

Fabulous Find!!! Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos but the food and service were spectacular! My brother stumbled upon Los Arcos when we were hunting for a caterer for our family reunion. I am so happy we went with Los Arcos. Chris made the event stress free, all of our family were thrilled. There was something to meet various dietary restrictions. Los Arcos salsa is amazing and homemade, just the right amount of spice that sneaks up on you. I could have lived on the guacamole and chips alone, and the refried beans were traditional perfection. Both the carnitas and chicken tacos were so delicious (don't sleep on the carnitas though!) I've not been into the restaurant itself but my brother really enjoyed it and said he will definitely return. Found this gem on the Sonoma County Foodies Facebook page while I was on a quest to find the best breakfast burrito in the area. I walked in and met the owner Cris Ochoa and a woman (didn't catch her name). Both were beautiful people and pleasant. Cris had a small supply of homemade salsa on display and I decided to buy a bottle. He even let me sample one on a tortilla chip and it was delicious. The breakfast burrito was on point. All of the ingredients from the bacon, to the cheese and egg tasted very fresh and I could easily say this was the best breakfast burrito I've had thus far since moving to the Sonoma county area. I'm an East Bay/Richmond CA boy, with tons of experience eating Mexican food from Richmond to Oakland, Hayward and all the way to San Jose. So that should let you know I'm certified when That being said, I gotta hand it to Los Arcos, great first impression and the next time I return, I'm bringing my wife. read more

It's so rare to find an authentic taqueria that has vegan food! They have numerous vegan and vegetarian options. Meat eaters can be happy here, too. My first Yelp review for Los Arcos was July 2012. They have remained absolutely consistent during the last 13 years as we frequent on almost a weekly basis. We now rely on their Taco Bar To Go for our holiday dinners (Thanksgiving and Christmas this year). Their taco salad is one of my go to items. We chose this place tonight because I was craving Mexican and I wanted to go somewhere that was established as being delicious. This restaurant had 4 1/2 stars and tons of reviews and yes, people are correct. It is very good. You get three types of salsa with chips and all of them are good and definitely homemade and wonderful and spicy! My partner got the fajitas and his meat was so tender. I absolutely love this place! Cris, the owner, really cares about his clients. The love is seen and tasted in his delicious food. Everything coming out of the kitchen is absolutely delicious. The burritos are my favorite. I can usually eat half for dinner and the other half the next day for breakfast or lunch. The chilaquiles are flavorful and serve just the way my mom made them when I was a kid. Cris makes bottled salsa and it definitely is a must buy. It's spicy and so tasty. However claiming to be the best burrito spot in the North Bay is a very bold claim that needs to be backed up. I respectfully disagree with that claim. As many reviews mention, portions are huge, so my boyfriend and I shared one with chorizo (picture shows cross section of my half). It also came with a small bag of chips and a couple different salsas. The burrito was absolutely delicious -- cheesy, packed with a great ratio of ingredients, and tons of flavor.
