    Baleada de asada

La comida estaba muy buena buen sazonada y el servicio también. El ambiente es casual y hay desayuno, almuerzo y cena.

What I usually order, this time they actually gave me decent size of Asada, they usually give me less than this.

As a frequent customer I come here a lot therefore I would've rated this three stars originally but since I am a frequent customer I notice the prices on the menu change extremely from one day to the other. The amount of food they charge you for it too doesn't make sense. On top of that they never give you a receipt unless you ask for one, so they can really charge you whatever they want ( since the price always changes) and say the total was because of plus tax. Like cmon really? Tax is almost 4 $ per plate ? Also the amount of time I've comes here, there's literally one good/ nice employee out of all of the ones there. The rest of the employees attitude is not it. Save your money and go somewhere else, plus the amount of food they serve it's not worth it here.

Let's start with the location. This place is situated on Figueroa and 42nd St. It sits between a small convenience store and a christian church. The only parking available is street parking. The restaurant is very well lit and there are 15 tables available. One thing to know is that this place accepts cash only and they do not sell alcoholic drinks. The food: I ordered a simple "baleada", it consist a large flour tortilla stuffed with beans and Honduran sour cream. It was very fresh and very delicious. I also ordered "Yuca con chicarron". It is fried pork ginds with fried yuca. Wow, was I impressed. The plate can easily feed two people. This plate along with the baleada are typical Honduran food and this place cooks it to perfection. I am definitely coming back and I highly recommend you try this place. The customer service was great. I sat myself on an open table and the waitress came by and introduced herself. Overall very satisfied!

Here is a place that dislikes anyone who supports their country and have disrespectful waiters.

The line went outside the building, but it moved decently fast. After ordering you get a number and they will deliver the food to your table. I got a variety of their tacos. Each taco had a unique twist to it, and tasted really good. They also had a cool black tortilla which had a nice texture. I especially like the fried fish one as it had a mellow yet delicious flavor. I also got their cheap chips, and that as well worth the price. Definitely give this place a shot. It does match up to the hype.

The kanpachi tostada was also great, and the uni with scallop was a nice pairing. Fish tacos were good but not as memorable as the raw dishes. Also tried the smoked kanpachi taco but again not outstanding compared to the raw seafood. Their sauces were also good but spicy! The light brown one had a unique flavor to it and was my favorite but also the spiciest so be aware. Price - On the higher end as expected from a Michelin 1 star, but the quality on the raw dishes justifies it. Wouldn't say every dish is worth the price, but most of them were good. Ambience - This is a food hall setup, you order at the counter, get a number, and they'll bring your food to you. Lines can get long, especially since it seems busy most days now. If the wait isn't worth it, there are other solid-looking vendors in the same food hall to check out. Parking - Small paid lot on site, or street parking nearby. It's also next to a DMV in which you can park after 6pm-ish (would double check the signs)

The drive there was a bit iffy due to location but surprisingly the street that the restaurant is on was clean and felt pretty safe! I chose to park on the street but I'd advise to valet ($15) for safety purposes. We walked into a concrete built up newish area that had a brewery and another Michelin rated restaurant across the courtyard. The entire area was inviting! The restaurant felt like we took a dinner vacation to Cabo which was recipe for a relaxing evening! We ordered from the restaurant week menu which for us consisted of Ceviche, Guac w/delicious fresh tortilla fresh chips, whipped beans, snapper, bbq chicken, empanadas and basque cheesecake. All were great!.. we just wanted a larger portion of everything! I'd recommend and will definitely go again! I love restaurant week!

Upon arriving at the restaurant block, I was so surprised to see it was in a spooky area. I was literally terrified to leave my car parked on the street. They had valet parking for $15 also. The restaurant itself looked super nice, beautiful interior and a huge bar in the middle. Some tables were in outdoor patio area too. The menu had bunch of small and large plates, alongside lots alcoholic and N/A drinks. I ordered the Strawberry Daiquiri Mocktail that almost tested like a smoothie. The fried calamari, corn, empanadas, short rib tostada and chicken taco, all were good dishes but none of them were mind blowing. Prices were mostly fair. The service was really good. Our server did a wonderful job. All the dishes came out in short intervals. Overall a good location to have relaxing dining experience with friends and family.
