My friend and I were in the neighborhood and craving Peruvian food, so we decided to stop by D Pasadita. We're so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the gentleman helping us made us feel so welcome. He was incredibly kind, patient, and took the time to walk us through the menu and answer our questions. I ordered the combinado with ceviche, papa a la huancaína, rice, and chicken, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My friend had the tacos and loved them too. They also offered us a sample of the soup of the day, which was such a thoughtful gesture, and it was amazing. You can tell they care about both the food and the people who walk through their doors. Great service like this is hard to find, and it made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be coming back. I've tried the ceviche, the papa huancaina and lomo saltado. I thought the papa huancaina was pretty tasty. I really liked the yellow sauce. The ceviche was killer, so delicious. I drank the juice like water, it was so refreshing. The lomo saltado fell a little short. I really loved the thick potatoes, they were so soft. I loved the veggies and rice. Wow, wow wow!!!! this place is absolutely incredible! Some friends and coworkers of mine were in the area for a memorial service and wanted to get together to have some good food afterwards. I was looking on Yelp and came across this place and it did not disappoint. From the moment we sat down they were so warm and accommodating. We were assisted by Patty, who informed us that her mom was the cook and this was a family run restaurant. The food was beyond amazing! I had the bistec à la Pobre and it was so tasty. The steak was tender. The rice was flavorful, the plantains were sweet and the egg was perfect. Our group also tried the Loma Salado as well as the ceviche and everything was great. I cannot say enough, good things and I will absolutely be back. I was a little confused driving down the street because I didn't expect to see a restaurant, but it is so bright and colorful and welcoming inside. Found this cute spot that popped up on my maps and so glad I found this hidden gem! It wasn't busy since it was a bit tucked away from most main streets, but it's not hard to miss with the murals out front. The lomo saltado was delicious! Finally got to try D Pasadita, a neighborhood spot serving super fresh, flavorful and generously portioned dishes! We stopped by for an early lunch and had the dining room to ourselves, and got the friendliest service from the owner. We got the Lomo Saltado and the Tallarin Saltado which were so tasty, and had to get the inka cola and jarritos to drink. The aji on toast was also especially delicious! The vibe is totally LA with the colorful murals inside and out. You can't miss it-- just look out for the colorful building. I always see the Dpasadita sign in the corner but I didn't know it was a restaurant. I found this place on Yelp looking for Peruvian food. It only had two reviews but both good so I decided to give it a try. I'm so happy I did because this place is a hidden gem. Definitely a little hole in the wall place but my food was really good. I got the lomo saltado and it was very flavorful, perfectly seasoned, the fries were delicious and everything was cooked and tasted so good. I would definitely come back. Service was great but a little slow but I'm sure it's because they're making everything fresh from scratch and I think they're a bit new. But they definitely need more exposure as I can really see the potential in this place. Next time I want to try some other dishes. read more

My girl and I couldn't stop eating even after we had our fill. This place is small but full of soul. They have an amazing style and the food set up is great. They have the main specialty dishes and also a breakfast bar. Many options to choose from. The parking is in the lot right behind the restaurant in case you don't find street parking. All dishes did not disappoint. Best peruvian ceviche I have tasted in a long time. Compliments to the Chef!
