Small quaint non assuming restaurant bringing the flavors, or lack there of from Venezuela. Tried this place on a Sunday and had their Arepa Pepiada.. which is a chicken salad arepa. It was pretty bland, with a nice sized portion of avocado. I wanted to like it, it wasn't bad just didn't taste like much. The arepa was pretty massive... it was meh, I'd maybe try something else but for this arepa wasn't it. The staff is friendly and kind...maybe next time. Mi Venezuela was not for mi.

Delicious!Pabellon
Jef H.

I had to charge my car, and I saw a banner for Mi Venezuela, the food in the photos looked delicious. I walked over and ordered the Pabellon, the Venezuela National Dish. The restaurant is very clean, but small inside. There were a lot of take-out customers when I arrived. All were Latins, so the food must be authentic. I enjoyed my food it was very delicious. I will be back to try some other dishes too!

It will take a 1hr. To get your food! restaurant is empty. I will not eat that this restaurant. I can do bad food not bad service. I can do without the food. It was horrible. Do not order this chicken thing might as well have chicken salad.

Food was okay. Tequenos were not fried but more like baked. Location and environment including local's space are not the best.

Delicious food. I've ended up trying so many different items off the menu and it's the clean plate club every time.

The workers taking the orders have so much attitude. We've had issues with them over 3 times so I won't be coming back here.

Wish I could give it a zero. The cashier with split hair dye was very rude. He was unhelpful and kept sighing while we were ordering.

Lucky me to be the first in line. What a beautiful restaurant with all the bright colorful decor! Cool atmosphere plus good lighting with several tables/chairs plus limited bar stool seating. There appears to be a hammock, too. Not sure if it can be used or it's just decor. One all gender restroom is discreetly in the back of the restaurant. Really great place!! The gentleman from the kitchen came out to greet me and asked what I would like. The lady behind the counter took over to take the remaining of my order. They both recommended the Reyna Arepa that is filled with shredded chicken, avocado, mayonnaise, and lime juice. An arepa is a griddlecake made of ground maize dough. It looks like a pocket to me. Anyway, that's what I got. OMG, it was so delicious! Tons of shredded chicken at every bite. Very well balanced between chicken, avocado, and mayo. Arepa was crispy and delightfully. SO GOOD! Highly recommend it. I also got the passion fruit juice that was delightfully refreshing... not too sweet... just perfect! Super nice and friendly staff. Amazing service. Tasty foods in great portions. Welcoming and warm ambiance. I'll definitely return to get more Renya Arepa and try other food items. If you're craving Venezuelan foods or trying it for the first time, this place is for you!

I got an oxtail plate, with djon djon & bannan peze. It also came with a little bit of salade russe (Haitian potato salad), pikliz, and sauce. The diri djon djon was so flavorful, definitely my favorite thing on the plate. The oxtail was seasoned well and pretty tender. The pikliz was good, pretty mild so I could enjoy it all. I tried some griot and thought it could have marinated longer. The portions felt very huge. The service here is really friendly and accommodating. The food came put after not too long of a wait and it was hot. The space is cool. It looks like an old diner. There's konpa playing in the background and games like Uno & Dominos available if you want to play. We also got two Haitian beef patties to go. They're legit! Came with pikliz and another sauce I never had before, it was green with a bit of spice and tang. The main downside is the location. It was fine in the daytime, but at night I wouldn't want to be alone as a woman here. That's just me though. Parking is metered on the street ($6/hr)

I've been here a few times since I tag along with my Columbian friend for brunch here. This place is not for vegetarians. So, keep on driving or skip reading this if you are. The empanadas here are delicious. My favorite type of empanadas. Made with a crunchy, fried corn dough filled with meat. Served with encurtido, it's a Columbian salsa type but little spice. What I had recently here is sanchocho. This soup reminds me of a caldo de res but with oxtail, plantain, yucca. It also has potato and corn. Very hearty and comforting. It's served with a side of white rice on the side and arepa. If you every come here for breakfast, you'll be fed like a champion. Try the bandeja paiso.. Take your gout pills first. It's a meat fest.
