    Baby eating spinach pupusas!
    Eileen M.

I have been craving pupusas for awhile! I use to go to a place all the way in the South Bay, but they closed down, so on my way back from Torrance to Echo Park, I found this place. Parking is a bit challenging, but I was able to find some on the street. The restaurant itself looked like it could be a fun place with karaoke, but I just came in to pick up my food. Ordered all pupusas! I had one reveulta, but went with more of the other vegetarian options, like spinach and garlic. The garlic one was amazing. Even with the cortido and sauce, the garlic flavor really stood out! They tasted super fresh and were actually quite large. I ordered 6 not knowing what to expect and it lasted us awhile. Really glad this place is a lot closer to my house. Oh and my baby had pupusas for the first time and he loved it!

Coming here, you can't miss all the advertising signage outside. This place is quite large inside. I was the only one here today. I came to try their pupusa revuelta. It was good. Made fresh and came with curtido and sauce. I asked for more curtido and sauce because the pupusa was a good size. I tried their passionfruit drink. It was sweet and refreshing. Next, I ordered the 3 Pastelitos con Carne y Pollo. It came with a side of curtido and sauce. The beef was better than the chicken pastelito. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, despite the location.

Nice spot. It's big. Looks like they have karaoke here, or maybe small bands play? It's definitely a little bit of a party restaurant. My friend and I had giant pupusas. We tried the Salvadoran empanadas. Both were really good. The curtido and salsa were fresh and added the yummy flavors. I ordered an atole de maíz and I LOVED IT! it was silky, yummy flavor and ... I just loved it.

I was craving an authentic salvi breakfast so I looked up on yelp for it and this restaurant came up: it did not disappoint! Food was delicious and they have some good coffee. Services was excellent and the restaurant is also very clean and welcoming, definitely coming back! Se ve que el restaurante es de familia y el dueño fue muy amable también contó que ya tienen 3 años que abrieron y también tienen karaoke en las tardes de viernes a domingo

The food is delicious !!!! I got the super pupusa, the cheese and bean , the cheese and chacarron ... OMG !!!!! YUM YUM YUM !!!! I'm totally going back for more !!! The ladies that work there are so nice and friendly, they make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The place is very nice and clean. The setting is really comfortable with a classic Latino, night club atmosphere.... They also have karaoke . The menu is full of different Mexican, salvadorian and American dishes with a Latin flair. I totally recommend trying this restaurant out for yourself .

Called in to pick up an order of pupusas. The staff is attentive and friendly, however I find that the dining area is too much of a vibe with the loud music. An important note to point out is that parking in the area can be quite tough. Over to the star of the show, the pupusas are quite good, not the best I've had, but good. The curtido and salsa roja are a must to pair with these pupusas.

It was pretty easy to park and it wasn't too busy besides takeout on a Tuesday. Pupusas and curtido were very good. Never had a super before.

Solid food, good cheesy pupusas.. not overly greasy. Kinda pricey for being in the hood. 4.50 for an horchata seems kinda egregious.

We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.

We…read moreusually make the drive to North Hollywood, but decided to give this place a try--and it definitely did not disappoint! We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

I've actually traveled to El Salvador before, so I've had the opportunity to experience the food there firsthand. Since coming back, I really haven't found many places that gave me that same authentic taste and feeling--until coming here. Everything we tried was amazing. The pupusas, beans, plantains, meats, and all the traditional flavors were on point. You can tell the food is prepared with that real homemade Salvadorian style. If you've been to El Salvador and know what authentic Salvadorian food is supposed to taste like, this place will bring back some memories.
