I was really curious about this particular restaurant. I always see many different locations all over the coast. For some reason, this particular restaurant when I drive by it seems busy? Please refer to the website for details. A friend of mine recommended this particular restaurant. She mentioned that she would go with her husband here on many occasions. They never had a bad experience. She insisted that we join them. I gladly accepted. This particular restaurant is located in north Biloxi area in the Cedar Lake area. They have a large parking lot since it is located in a large shopping center. They do not have front handicap parking. However, the large parking lot has plenty of parking and handicap parking spots near the front of the restaurant. As you walk in, you are welcome to friendly staff and lighting is a little bit dimmer than most. Makes feel with warm atmosphere. Plenty of tables and booths. With a big full bar that accommodates back. Drink responsibly. We ask for a booth and kindly walked us to back booth. The seats are comfortable with padding on back and bottom. The tables are large and comfortable. They are hard wooden seats with custom padding on the bottom and hardwood back. Looks great and can accommodate up to large parties. I recommend calling ahead to make sure that they can accommodate you for that day. If you do want to dine in. You can always call ahead to place an order to go. As we sat down, they provided us with complimentary chips and salsa. The chips are thin, light, and crispy. Started out with a horchata to drink. ( is a name given to various beverages that are generally plant-based but sometimes contain milk. In Spain, it is made with soaked, ground, and sweetened tiger nuts. In Mexico it is made with rice, cinnamon and other ingredients and it is well known as a type of Mexican agua fresca.) While we ordered the Molcajete (Fajitas) - Steak, chicken, and shrimp, with cactus, poblano peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served in a hot Mexican mortar stone. Combo E - One beef taco, one chile relleno, one tamal, rice and beans. And rounded out with the Shrimp Enchilada Dinner- Two shrimp enchiladas served with rice and beans. They also mentioned that they offer free cup of soup (bean) for those who order a dish. As we were waiting. We thought we give it a try. I was warned not to get full off chips and salsa, especially the soup. Our meal has not arrived yet. The chips and salsa especially the soup is excellent. Shortly our dinner arrived. The smell was amazing and looked fantastic! All the food was delicious! They were so right. Our waitress asked us if we liked to get anything else or dessert. Are you kidding? Dessert, I wish. Especially more room. So much delicious food we had to take it home. It felt like we failed. So much delicious food. Be prepared to eat a lot of wonderful food! The staff will make you feel at home. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants here in Mississippi! We came here with a large group of people and they always accommodate us. The servers are attentive and fast which is a big plus, especially with so many people. They're constantly refilling our drinks, checking in, and manage to serve all of our food at once. One of my favorites is the sizzling fajitas. I opt for no tortillas and eat the shrimp, rice, and beans, lettuce, and guacamole. The shrimp are always plump, juicy, and perfect! It's so delicious! Speak to me in Taco please I chose the Chicken Fajita Salad this trip. The chicken was pre sliced thin and partially crispy which was nice. When I tell you it's a plate full... it was FULL. I could not eat it all myself. I did not get an appetizer but the salsa is one of the best I have had. Decor in the dining area is very Mexico and tasteful. Wide open room with 4-5 rows of booths and tables. Big bar along the back wall so I want to come back for a marg (when I'm not working of course ). They have very fast service and cheap meals. If you are looking for somewhere yummy to take your family out to each without a killer expensive bill this is your place!! They have delicious all you can eat chips and salsa & upon request, they have spicier salsa! This is especially great if you are a spicy food fanatic like my husband. El Saltillo is my go to local Mexican joint on the gulf coast(several locations). Service and food is always consistent (good!) all time favorite to order is shrimp fajita and huevos con chorizo. Salsa is tasty! The location that we go to mostly is the one on cedar lake, service is always fast usually in and out in 40 minutes even though it's busy during lunch. read more

I've had lots and lots of tacos, steak being my favorite, and I wasn't expecting much from this place. Boy was I wrong. I ordered 4 steak tacos Mexican style and they were hands down, THE BEST tacos I've EVER had. From the corn tortilla to the texture and flavor of the steak, packaged with juicy limes to squeeze on them and a sauce that compliments them perfectly. Very authentic but also very well executed and I've had tacos in both Mexico and San Diego. This place is great. The chips and salsa are good. Wouldn't mind having some of the chili powder to sprinkle on them but OK. The chicken chimichanga is great. The steak burrito is great. Someone below had commented on the service and I have never had problem with the service here. I eat here often and Christian (A server mentioned below) is the server I request. If he sees us before we are seated he already has the drinks in place and usually he gives us a few minutes to figure out what we will eat. If the place is busy of course you will not see the waiter as often as when they aren't busy. I don't really care for the one on Edgewater and I don't really care for the one in Ocean Springs. I like this one. The food is different at each place and I think they even have different menus. I sit in the smoking section to try to avoid the kids. As there are a large number of families here I am stressed when the kids are loud and running around. Maybe they should make the bar area a Kid Free Zone. read more

Just to be clear... Four stars means 'Yay, I'm a fan!' I and my lunch partner both had number 17 on the lunch menu. That dish includes a chile relleno, enchilada, and quesadilla. All three were good, not great. That was the judgment I made before I paid the bill, but when I saw the ticket, I changed my mind. Both plates, with drinks, totaled 15 American dollars. That, my friend, moved lunch up to great in my book! The salsa is good. It's moderately chunky, which gives it some texture, and it has fresh cilantro mixed in for that little bit of Mexican interest. The chips were fresh and warm. All of the food arrived hot and, while just basic Mex cuisine, it was flavorful and appealing. The only thing I regret now is that I did not order a margarita. HORRIBLE service. food is not authentic Mexican food, service is slow, and the waitress there does not seem to care about the customers at all. We were supposed to get the 10% discount, but she claimed because it was already in the system she could not do anything about it -- saying "it is ONLY a few dollars". Aside from the food being great.. Everything else was horrible. It wasn't really busy when I visited this location with my boyfriend and not once after our food came to is were we checked on for refills on our drinks or anything. When the check came to us, the waiter brought us someone else's check. My boyfriend had to track down the waiter to get the correct check. When we went to the front counter to pay, no one was there to take our payment. We waited for about five minutes and got fed up with waiting and just left the check and cash laid on the counter by the computer and walked out.
