I found this place on yelp and I'm HAPPY I did! To start, the chips and salsa was very good! The chips are thin and crispy and seasoned. We got the queso with chicken and steak and was one of the best I've had. I got the street tacos with Charro beans and a side tamale. The Charro beans were amazing with a great smoky flavor. So because I have always felt the need to not lie to the public, I'm not a politician. We went back on Friday (the review was written on Thursday the 23rd after the 5th visit) and well I can honestly say disappointed is an understatement. Not the food or atmosphere in the least but the service well sorry there is no other way to say it but it sucks. Not because it's busy still 2 servers and a manager but the server we got well needs some training or major help. Shouldn't be left on tables by herself. If this was my first visit I can't say I would be back. She has serviced the table next to us about 5 times in a row and NEVER once stopped by our booth literally right next to the other one. Me and my husband visited this restaurant based on a referral. To say it was an excellent restaurant referral is an understatement. We were greeted immediately by a smile and warm welcome by Stephanie who was our server as well. The food was very fresh, flavorful and delicious; the service by Stephanie was outstanding and Gustavo was amazing with his suggestions and recommendations. We went to Juan's after reading some reviews and wanting to try somewhere different looking For the newest food gem..So the inside was nice, spacious. was decorated cute..there was a nice bar and I think A pool table..Our Server was pleasant we all ordered something different . Our Food came pretty quickly we were the only ones in restaurant I think. Food presentation was ok at best looked kinda Just slopped together. This is a must try if you are in the Biloxi area. 10 out of 10. If I could give it 10 stars for a perfect 100% score I would. We got the Barria tocos and the steak tacos and they were absolutely delicious. We also got a beer and margarita and the beer was draft and was served in a large mug. The margarita was served in a nice sized glass goblet and was amazing as well. Perfect amount of tequila and tasted delicious. We definitely will be returning. Wish they had one back home in TN. Was a little hesitant when we first drove up and decided to go in anyway. Well are we glad we did, the service was excellent and for food we had Chimichanga and Empanadas. They were cook perfectly and tasted even better. My wife said, I think there is too much cheese on top of this, like that is a thing as I watched her scoop some up with one of the chips. I tried this restaurant by a delivery app and it was good. Today I went to try in person dine in experience and it was even better. The staff were very friendly and kept checking on me if everything was OK. Their interior seemed to be more like a bar but nothing was overpriced as a typical bar. The tacos in Gulfport and Biloxi are so good! We're from up north and we have a large Latin population in our town so there are lots of places to get good authentic Mexican food but this area beats them all! We've tried four different places so far and they are all good. Juan's Beer and Tacos are right across the street from us and they did not disappoint! They have the best birria tacos ever!! The broth was so flavorful. My hubby had the shrimp burrito and he was very happy with the amount of shrimp that was in it. The fried ice cream was really hard but fun to dig into.
