This is LA style (and quality) Mexican food I had to give up when I left California. Today was Carne Asada and tacos Al pastor...fantastic. Excellent food and very reasonably priced especially considering the quality. It will probably be back tomorrow.

This is a small casual place, mostly counter service but we were served at our table by a fantastic server who was also wearing a chef shirt. The birria was excellent, we had tacos and also caldo de birria. Good salsa appetizer but then two more sauces came out with the food, also excellent. I'm sad we don't live here, I would be a regular. read more

Great Mexican restaurant in Gulfport MS. Friendly service, and you can tell they care about their menu. Prices are super affordable and generous portions. The birria taco was on point and the giant burrito was amazing. I had it filled with steak and shrimp. This place is worth it. I'll be back for sure to try some more tacos. read more

I've been driving past this place for a while and was finally able to stop in. The young man working the counter was super friendly. The space isn't huge but there was plenty of comfortable seating available. My companion and I went during the lunch hour and they had a quesadilla lunch special that I went with. It was super oily but otherwise very tasty. My companion got the birria ramen and a steak taco and that was the meal to write home about. I'll definitely be getting that ramen the next time I stop in. I also tried the agua fresca and it was so refreshing. Prices were fair and the employers were exceptional! SO GOOD!! we got pork and beef tacos, street corn, agua fresca, and a jarritos soda. Service was quick, order at counter and wait for it to be brought to a table. Waiter was very kind and helped us with recommendations. The ambiance is very nice, you know youre going to get really good food. Everything was amazing, certain to return. read more

I haven't eaten genuine Mexican cuisine in years but OMG my sister brought me here and I LOVED IT! They have a nice sized menu, with so many tasty looking options. The tacos were amazing and it had the perfect amount of spice. The location is clean and has enough space to host a nice event like retirements, birthdays or farewells. The workers are super sweet and welcoming. I will definitely return. read more

Went to grab dinner from here today and I'm so glad that I did! When I walked in it was empty which is a shame since the resturant is clean and feels like a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal.The owner and his family were super welcoming and nice. He went over the menu with us and recommended get the pork belly with some tortillas when we mentioned wanting tacos. We got the birria tacos and the pork belly with tortillas and it was hands down the best decision. I can't wait to go back and try more things from their menu. read more

Top taco joint on the coast, hands down. It's the most authentic you will see. The birria tacos are on point, and the breakfast is pretty awesome, so don't sleep on that either. The service is top notch too with the ambiance being family oriented. They do serve beer which is pretty refreshing when the food gets a little spicy. read more

I just had the best Flauta in Mississippi! Crispy corn tortillas with beef and melted cheese and a green salsa. Delicious. Also tried the Biria taco with consommé and again a home run. The owner and staff were very friendly and service was quick. I'll be back soon!! read more

Stopped here on a whim and so glad I did. I didn't think to get a picture until after I was done, but the Birria tacos are delicious. The queso, was perfect once adding some of their salsa. I would definitely come here again. read more

Our recent order was for the Chocolate Bavarian Cream cake, which comes with layers of chocolate cake, strawberries, cream, and more. The 10 inch cake was upwards of $80, but I think it is worth every penny for the pure decadence of it all. We've ordered it several times over the years and it is always a hit at birthday parties. I also usually get my wife an order of their chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine's Day, because they put a lot of attention to detail and always use large, plump fruit. They often put the same strawberries on some of their cakes. In addition to custom orders, they maintain an inventory of smalls from cookies to mini versions of their cakes, so you can walk in and try out various stuff. They also serve coffee inside, so it's a great place to pick up a sweet treat on the way home from work.
