Great price, great portions and amazing friendly service. Sauces are super tasty and spicy as a good sauce should be.

Of course, I had to check Yelp first, and it looked promising, so we gave it a try. I decided to order tacos... a little shy moment. I got two asada, one chorizo, and one al pastor. My friend ordered an asada and cheese burrito. My favorite was definitely the asada tacos. The meat was so juicy and flavorful. I also loved that they came with grilled onions, little potatoes, and a grilled serrano pepper. There's a toppings bar with all the fixings, so don't miss the pickled onions, habaneros, and especially the red hot sauce it has some serious heat! I also tried a bite of the asada burrito, and honestly, it was probably my favorite thing. The rice and beans were delicious, and they definitely don't skimp on the meat. It had the perfect balance of everything. The service was great, everyone was friendly, and the staff were vibing to the music the whole time, which made the atmosphere even better. I'd definitely come back!

There's plenty of street parking and this taco stand is the best bang for your buck. It's cash only but you can also pay via Venmo or Zelle. I recently got an order of three tacos and one burrito, the total was $21. There's also tables and chairs if you prefer to eat here. Overall their service is quick and the food is cooked fresh right in front of you. What stands out about Tacos El Tigre is the buckets of salsas and vegetables that you're going to use to top off your plate.

Ordering can be a little daunting given there isn't much guidance from the staff. Tacos are the specialty. Hand made fresh tortilla are pressed and cook on a flat top right in front. All the proteins are in trays or a boiling pot or the spinning "trompo". Cooked and fresh add on ingredients are all on display to add onto your selection. Rice, beans, onions, etc. At the check out table they have additional add ons. Marinated peppers, slivered onions, radishes. We watched folks place their order so we were able to figure out what to order. We ordered... Asada tacos Al pastor tacos Asada queso burrito Tripa queso burrito Tacos are nicely portioned, future son in law ate 5. Wife at 3. The taco was soft but firm with great corn texture. The Al Pastor is the champ here with the pineapple dang it was good!! The queso burrito was da bomb. The cheese is slapped onto the flat top to brown and build a bit of extra flavor. The tortilla was set on top and then filled with your meat, rice and beans, green onions and your choice of salsa. OMG. The cheese was so flavorful it really heightened the flavor of the other ingredients. Try it!! So good We got one watermelon drink which was made with fresh watermelon. You can taste the grittiness of the melon in a good way. Maybe had sweetener added but dang it was good Outside seating is provided which gave it the street fair vibe. Parking was easy in the CVS lot. You get a decent amount of food for the money which is high on my list when we go out to eat.

That was a bit disappointing because I ended up paying almost $40 for two quesadillas, which feels pretty expensive compared to other street food places in the area. The food was okay, but I wouldn't call it especially tasty or memorable On the positive side, the mango juice was really good, and I enjoyed the outdoor seating it had a nice atmosphere and was a pleasant place to relax. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but I don't think the food justified the price

From the outside, it's small and unassuming, but don't let that fool you. We ordered the birria queso tacos, asada queso tacos, and regular asada tacos--every single one was absolutely delicious. They also gave us a consommé to try, which was really flavorful and a perfect addition. It's a family-owned business, which we always love to support. The young girl who took our order and seated us (I think her name was Arian?) was incredibly sweet and had better customer service than many adults--she truly stood out. Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, and we've already recommended this spot to friends. We'll definitely be back!

It was on a Sunday morning around 10 am. It was pretty busy, we had to wait for a table for family of 5 for about 20 minutes, not bad. I noticed that after 11:30 the rush was over. We all asked for the same plate. Birria with rice and beans. We wanted the handmade tortillas so it was a little extra but it was worth it. The Birria was so flavorful and Delicious! The waitress was so attentive and sweet! We will definitely be back!

I got a carne asada quesadilla plate (comes out rice, beans, and a salad). There are no prices anywhere, which I don't exactly like, but alas. The total came out to 42 dollars. Service - very friendly girl took my order. Salsas - there were 4 or 5 and they were all delicious! I think my favorite is the spicy, very watery red one. Asada tacos - my husband said they were good Al pastor - my husband did not really care for these. He said it tasted like warmer tray pastor rather than fresh trombol pastor, which wss probably true, as I saw no roasting meats. Bummer. Quesadilla - probably one of the best I've had in a while! The perfect amount of cheese and meat. Some places overdo it and you can't even pick the thing up without it falling apart. Some places are skimpy on the meat. This was just right. Rice - flavorful and cooked well Beans - probably my new favorite beans. They're on the loose side and have great flavor. Salad - I didn't really eat it. It was just a little plop of shredded lettuce, a few diced tomatoes, two slices of avocado, and I think sour cream. I ate the avocados and that was it. Overall, glad to have finally tried this spot. Will definitely be back to try sopes and a couple other things. Wish they had posted prices and that my husband liked his Al pastor more so I could actually get him to go back, but alas. It'll just be my spot.

I recently tried out El Cocinero's food at an event that they catered to. As a person who eats meat and is not restricted, I would come here for the good food. The vegan al pastor had chunks of pineapple and it is seasoned and cooked to taste just like the meat version. The texture is just a little bit different but it does resemble a lot like meat. The vegan pastor also tastes just like the meat version, just less "smoky" and the texture is softer. The rice is flavorful and fluffy. The beans are seasoned just enough to have flavor but not compete with the other dishes. The creamy chipotle sauce was perfect topping the rice and beans. I do like vegan food but the only reference I had with Mexican vegan are places that try to add fake cheese and lean heavily on beans and rice. This business shows that you can still have all the flavors and not rely on cheese and meat. They focus on the flavors and not what would make non-vegans feel comfortable. Initially, I was going to give this first time experience a 4 star review so that it encourages me to go check out the restaurant so I can add the service and the ambiance. However, I was lucky enough to bring home leftovers and as I was eating it, the food tastes better. Had to add the extra star!
