Best tacos and burritos in Studio City! The fish tacos, burritos, or quesadillas are the ones to try!

Are you kidding me? Five stars all the way! So I work down the street at a nail salon... my customers have been raving about taco Tacuba! They say Christine have you tried this place? I'm always saying I will. I will I will I will... finally today Ive decided to try this place out... I walk up to the place greeted by a very nice lady ... ordered five tacos and she tells me it's $9???!! I said, excuse me how many tacos did I order? She said five tacos.. I said how much is it? She said nine dollars! Again, nine dollars again nine dollars! I asked her why is it so cheap? She's like because it's taco Tuesday! Duhhhh!!! Holy shit, I literally ran home and took this photo! The tacos are so so amazing! They make it super Duper fresh! I literally saw the guy dipping the tortillas into the juices and throw it on the grill ! I can't believe I have not tried this place before! Everybody needs to try this place! I will tell everybody about this place! I was so happy that I tipped $20!

This food truck is close by where I live, I pass it nearly everyday and up until I saw a video on Instagram did I finally decide to check it out. So the name Tacos Tacuba is what I can only assume an homage to a classic Mexican rock group named 'Café Tacvba' The food itself wasn't bad, I'd say it's average for what it is. There is a steady amount of people I see every time I pass by, I stuck with a simple mulita on this visit because that's what I saw on IG that made me finally decide to make the jump on the food truck, although it didn't come out like what I saw on IG, it was still pretty good, I do plan on going back to try the other items on their menu

TLDR; great food, cheap, easy parking, and open late! This truck is regularly stationed in front of the Jons (or at least every time I've worked out) and is open late. Finally tried it tonight and I am so glad I did. Everything pictured was $16. In this economy? A steal! I ordered a shrimp taco and Tacuba plate. The asada was flavorful, the beans and rice are classic, and I really loved my shrimp taco. Excited to try more menu items. It's quality you can taste- even the lettuce is crisp and refreshing. They gave me all the salsas and toppings (for free)- if you can't handle heat, go for the creamy avocado salsa. I couldn't eat the whole thing but so excited for my leftovers. Service was great and quick! You can only tip with cash which made me sad because it really was so good and all I had was card. It's clean and the vibe is nice with the other trucks around it. Show this truck some love!! Para mis latinos, es auténtico y riquísimo!

Wow!! Best tacos and burritos in the San Fernando Valley!! Always nice to see this truck parked on the corner of Magnolia and Laurel Canyon. The carnitas and al pastor are off the charts here. The food is fresh and delicious, the truck is spotless, the chef is skilled, and it's an affordable meal!! This taco truck is awesome!!

I pass by this place almost every day and decided to try it out. I got the chicken and marinated pork tacos. WOWOWOWOWOW. Super impressed and I found my new favorite spot! I also got verde sauce and a guacamole(?) sauce I think. So flavorful! And such a great price.

My wife and I hired Tacos Tacuba to serve food for an event on Saturday from 10 p.m. - Midnight. The guest was surprised to see the Taco Tacube food truck pull up to the event to serve tacos and quesadillas. This was a big hit as my guest enjoyed the delicious food. I highly recommend reaching out to Tacos Tacuba for your next event. No taco stand setup was needed, the price was very reasonable compared to other taco vendors, and the food was amazing. My wife and I continue to return to one of their locations on Burbank and Van Nuys blvd, parked alongside Ralph's supermarket on Burbank blvd..

Lovely taco truck right outside Jons market. Super yummy! Love coming here on Taco Tuesday for $1.5 per taco (shrimp is extra of course). The meat is flavorful. The burrito ($9) is great too. Love their avocado sauce! Cash only and remember to tip the hard-working staff!!

We ordered #14 tostaditas w/ asada, #6 tacos doritos w/ birria, and asada quesadilla. We absolutely loved how crispy the tostadas and tacos doritos were. The meat was tasty and tender! The birria concomé was so delicious! So nice that they had three long tables to sit at. Made the experience that much more welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Unfortunately.....ended up disappointing…read more Here is why: I've been to quite a few tacos spots. I've been trying to try this one because I saw the hype on social media (maybe I was expecting them to live.up to that hype) Tacos - 2 stars: there was flavor in the asada and al pastor but the tortillas were small and kinda of hard. They may have left them on the grill too long. Im used to the nice soft delicious tortillas. Guacamole was ok Prices - 2 stars: spent $41 for 8 tacos and 2 senorials. They are over priced and portions are very small. I could have gotten more for my buck somewhere else for example: tacos el venado on sepulveda. They are really good. Angels tacos on sherman way (they have home made tortillas and their tacos are twice as big Over all, disappointing. Would I come back again? Not even if I was starving. But try then for yourself, you may have a different opinion. I have certainly have had better.

I also recommend the birria tacos. AMAZING. The pozole 10/10. If i could eat here everyday I would. I recommend this restaurant to everyone vegan, vegetarian, or not. The food is just THAT good. I recently tried out El Cocinero's food at an event that they catered to. As a person who eats meat and is not restricted, I would come here for the good food. The vegan al pastor had chunks of pineapple and it is seasoned and cooked to taste just like the meat version. The texture is just a little bit different but it does resemble a lot like meat. The vegan pastor also tastes just like the meat version, just less "smoky" and the texture is softer. The rice is flavorful and fluffy. The beans are seasoned just enough to have flavor but not compete with the other dishes. The creamy chipotle sauce was perfect topping the rice and beans. I do like vegan food but the only reference I had with Mexican vegan are places that try to add fake cheese and lean heavily on beans and rice. This business shows that you can still have all the flavors and not rely on cheese and meat. They focus on the flavors and not what would make non-vegans feel comfortable. Initially, I was going to give this first time experience a 4 star review so that it encourages me to go check out the restaurant so I can add the service and the ambiance. However, I was lucky enough to bring home leftovers and as I was eating it, the food tastes better. Had to add the extra star!

My husband got 2 tacos, brisket and chicken and a side of chips. I through in a side of crispy potatoes. This was a nice cool Sunday evening around 6pm, the vibe was full-ish but still places to sit. There's a big bar around the cook area inside where you order or a covered patio outside area (with heating if necessary). We had a lovely evening, so we sat at the end of a bench. Our food came to our table I'd say within 10-15 minutes of ordering. I honestly could have shared mine. It was a lot with those potatoes, and even my husband who's a thin guy said one of those tacos would have been sufficient (and he could have helped me with mine...haha). We were just in the area visiting our kids, we come down frequently from NorCal, so we will definitely hit up this place again now that we've found it in the near future. So good and super relaxed and easy.

When you try to get the salsa out, only liquid pours onto the tacos and you don't actually get any of the salsa goodness until you wack the bottle SO hard and then it comes FLOODING out. I ate my tacos sans salsa because I couldn't even get it to come out of the bottle. What a bummer because their salsa is delicious! I got my usual brisket breakfast taco and it was just sopping wet. I don't recall it ever coming out that juicy. It was delicious, but super soggy. I also ordered my tacos on the corn tortillas which were good, but their flour tortillas are definitely the star. One soggy taco isn't going to deter me from coming back, I do love the food here. Just wanted to provide feedback on those sauce bottles! Love, A salsa girlie
