I needed a burrito.. it was all I could think about. Seriously We were in the area so decided to give El Taco Amigo a try. I was not disappointed. They were friendly and quick! My burrito was full of flavor, tortilla was soft and crunchy at the same time. No complaints from me! Horchata and Jamaica were also refreshing.

Burrito was awesome all the way! Huge, flavorful, right amount of spice, moist, WONDERFUL. This is going to be my Carne Asada burrito place. Ordered lengua tacos as well. Full of flavor. But, sadly, overpowering the flavor of the meat. Still, wont disappoint you. Food bursting with flavor!!

Give me street tacos any day of the week! But especially after running errands on a Saturday and then needing to stop for food fuel, these tacos on the back of my truck bed were the perfect happy moment before I got busy with the next set of errands! Carne asada is my classic favorite from here but their lengua is also very tender and flavorful. The pastor was a little heavy on the cumin today for my taste but other than that, perfect as usual. I love how they serve each plate with carrots, onions and radish. I love radish! Tacos are now about $2.45/tacos. For 7 tacos, with tip, my total was $25. Buen provecho!

Most expensive burrito I've ever had. This place is food truck and decent but still a food truck. I ordered a chicken fajita burrito and he asked deluxe so I said yes. My burrito only was over $20. A burrito. For $20. No tip. No drink. No side. will not be back.

I would say 3.5 if Yelp did give half points. I ordered a chile relleno burrito. The burrito was long and skinny and pretty good. The Chile relleno was not whole and it was cut in pieces. The menu says bean and rice added, but all I got was rice and a lot of it.but it was a pretty good size burrito and there was plenty of relleno inside. I also ordered a bean and cheese burrito, which was pretty good. But I thought the flour tortillas was too big bc there was a lot of tortilla wrapped around the ingredients. My daughter ordered an Al Pastor burrito, which she said she will never order again from this place. Not very much Al Pastor but a lot of rice and a lot of Pineapple, yes pineapple. It was basically a pineapple and rice burrito, she was very disappointed. I would say the ingredients are good but kind of chinsy with the main ingredients. We also asked for hot sauce and they only gave us two (for four burritos). So that was kind of disappointing.

I think I got food poisoning from here once but I'll always come back, the food is soo good. Best burritos in the area and for so cheap too. If you ever visit Lacey/Oly, you have to come here. There's a El Taco Amigo food truck behind Titus Cars and one right next to Heavenly Donuts. My recommendation: - Al pastor burrito * Ask for deluxe, add extra meat, red sauce (green is not that spicy) - Carne asada burrito is also good Suggestion: leave in airfryer for a few minutes Wasn't a fan of the lengua burritos or the horchatas, wish they strained it more.

There are plenty of options for food here in Lacey. I had heard some great reviews from family about El Taco Amigo Truck and decided to give it a shot. There were some tables to enjoy your meal, but it was too chilly for that. Stopped by at lunch time today before 11am and there wasn't a line. We ordered the kid's burrito meal, asada fries and some pastor and lenqua tacos. It was quite a bit of food and all of it was very good. The kid's burrito was large enough for an adult. The tacos were very tasty and the asada fries were were huge, tasty and enough for 2 to share. The total was around $35. Well worth it. Friendly staff, delicious food and FAST. You can even call your order in ahead of time too. Definitely will return.

I've been here numerous times last year, food was always delicious. Today was either just a bad day or they've changed their standards. Everything was lukewarm or almost cold except for the rice...sadly this was the best part of the meal. Cold steak is never good. I may never come back after this. Also, the lady asked me if I wanted red or green spice and didn't give me either. Found this out only after driving all the way back to work. The beans (usually my favorite part of any Mexican dish) was waterrrrrrrr...

This place is legit. The street tacos are bigger than other trucks and the workers are friendly. Communication slacks a little bit, but eventually you'll figure it out. Had a tongue taco, tongue sope and my friend ordered steak tacos with rice and beans. A good sized amount of toppings come on it and flavor is authentic. I recommend! $.025 for extra sauce please n the side.

Food is super good we got a carne asada burrito & a California burrito both 10/10. We also got a large rice and large beans. The beans were put in a normal to-go box which led to them spilling in my car and all over me. Please get soup to go cups so this doesn't happen to anyone else!

This is legit Mexican food. Im from Southern California and this takes me home. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I love their carne asada due to how juicy and flavorful it is. I've had their beef a few times and they are consistent. I tried the Charro Burrito recently. It had four different types of meats. It was so massive I had to save half for later. Their salsa is spicy, so if you cant handle the heat, just ask for the sauce on the side. read more

Depending on who is working there, this can be either a fantastic place to eat or a very mediocre place to eat. The younger staff seem to screw up orders quite a bit, while the owners/older staff always hit it out of the park. We will continue to go, but only when we know who is working beforehand. read more

We stopped on our way to Oregon for two burritos and we were really impressed. The truck is so clean inside and out it felt like home. The customer service is good. The food was delicious and well made. I got the fajita burrito, it was large, loaded with goodness and every bite was balanced with no spillage. The flour tortilla was tasty and everything inside was balanced. We enjoyed eating outside and everything was clean. The location, the stools, the table and chairs. So glad we gave this place a try. We have driven by multiple times and see that they are steadily busy throughout the day. My hubs ordered the Charo burrito, the thing was, as others have said, massive! It was the size of someone's forearm, ha! My hubs said it was really good and wouldn't change a thing about it. I ordered the mulitos which are like a quesadilla but with corn tortillas, I had one chicken and one steak plus I ordered a small side of rice and beans. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back. I want to try their enchiladas and their El Pastor taco next time. read more

I usually get chicken or steak tacos. I'm a Texan and there's not much to choose from of quality to eat in Lacey, and even less for Mexican food. This place is pretty good. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but that's what makes it good IMO. It's not smothered in sauce or hiding behind a bunch of ingredients or gimmicks. Solid, no frills tacos, which are tasty and consistent. The service has always been prompt and friendly. It's my go to place when I want a straightforward taco experience. read more

I. Can't. Even. I am forever eating at Taco Bell because it's right by my house and it's quick and easy and the people who work their are so friendly. But after a recent conversation of the importance of supporting local, I decided to try El Taco Amigo. Why this spot? Well, I made a trip to Heavenly Donuts last night and this place was right next door and the smells coming out of this food truck were divine. Divine I tell you! So, I went back today and got the Charo burrito: mexican sausage, beef, pork, sour cream, cheese, and avocado. Number one, this thing is HUGE, easily a two person burrito. Number two, it was so delicious, I could not get it in my belly fast enough. It was a masterpiece. And! I got a side of verde salsa and I should have gotten 12. I literally could just drink this salsa. It was so full of lime juice and cilantro, a gorgeous viscosity and color. I licked the cup clean. I'm not even kidding. Overall, my meal was like $12, or really close to, and it was pure ambrosia. I waited less than ten minutes, the staff was friendly and professional looking, and the menu is fairly extensive. I look forward to trying new items, right after I eat about a hundred of these Charo burritos. Great job, El Taco Amigo. I look forward to being a regular customer! read more

This the real deal!! I'm from Los Angeles and it has been a struggle to find decent Mexican food here in the PNW. Their tacos are on point and made in the traditional way with grilled meat, fresh onion, cilantro, and salsa on 2 stacked corn tortillas. Their rice and beans are excellent as well! Overall, it's definitely better than any other taco truck in the area. read more

Been meaning to write this review for a while. I love taco trucks where I can spend $5 on a torta and it's so big that I can get two meals out of it. Went and tried this taco truck due to others closing earlier than posted closing times. It was a good burrito and tacos were decent, but I prefer shredded chicken instead of diced and the beans were really runny, but spanish rice was really delicious, i just enjoy others more than this taco truck. read more

Great food! I love this place because it's the closest I've found to real california Mexican food. I think a lot of the trucks in the area might leave their meat in warmers all day where it gets tough and flavorless but not these guys. They seem to always grill it fresh. Really love this place! They load up your tacos and the carne Asada is delicious. The horchata is great! Only taco truck place that doesn't make it powdery. The lady is always super nice and never fails to call you amigo which I love the friendliness :) they have great options for combos like the tacos with beans and rice. The rice isn't the most flavorful but still good. I really prefer California tacos red salsa more than here but I like the tacos here better. The red salsa just isn't spicy enough for me so if you prefer light spice you'll love this place regardless! I recently heard from a friend they changed their red salsa but I haven't had it yet. read more

Best tacos I have had in Washington. Being a transplant from So Cal it has been really difficult finding anything close to a passable taco truck. 90% of the trucks in Lacey and Olympia are mediocre at best. Great lengua, asada appropriately cooked, and seasoned. Al pastor the best I think I have ever had anywhere. So far have only had the tacos so can't really speak about the rest of their food, but looking forward to giving it a try. read more

This place is legit! It's SO good! I'm from California (Bay Area) and I have been looking for a legit burrito since moving here 4 years ago. Wish I would have tried this place out a long time ago! Reminds me of Cali! The people who run this taco truck are also very nice and the taco truck and area surrounding is very clean and well kept. Will be a loyal customer as long as I'm in the Pacific Northwest! Totally wasted my time with the others on Martin. read more

Ambiance: The restaurant itself has a nice location (downtown) and pleasant atmosphere/vibe. Definitely Mexican influences throughout! Apparently they have a taco bar (on certain days at least) but I haven't tried it yet. Food: Mostly I've stuck to either their shrimp burritos at the brick and mortar location and their steak burritos at their food truck. Both are always good and fairly good sized - full of meat, rice and beans. Salsas are pretty tasty as well! Prices are a bit high especially for the shrimp burritos - and that's even when factoring in it being a premium-priced meat. But that's my personal opinion, of course. Regardless - prices are within the norms of the day...not insinuating other! Service: while I haven't dined in yet, to go service as always been prompt and efficient. Definitely will remain one of my go to locations when I'm craving a taste of home (AZ). Cheers!

This truck charges extra for lengua and certain other meat items that are higher on the "cost" side so they compensate by adding a charge. In this case the burrito itself was $15.39(or something close). The total that I was given was $19.17 with the extra charge. I saw that I had exactly $20 in cash. I just said to put the change in the tip jar. There was nothing in the tip jar. So I was taken aback to see the lady working put what looked like $4 in singles into the tip jar. My change was .83. Just an observation. On a final note, this truck is now charging .50 and .99 for salsa cups(depending on size). My burrito came with a bag, no napkins. No salsa. No plasticware. Nothing.

The prices have gone up a lot and I get that running a business cost more now but you don't let the quality suffer. I am very sad that our favorite food truck has gone this way.

They always have freshly roasted coffee beans for sale of many varieties for sale and I haven't had a bad one yet. I cant help buying a bag or two on the way out. Their daily selection of pour over coffee is always delicious and they have got their technique dialed in! But that's okay as it's a really cool place. The guest taps they have are good... nice and cold. The food is good as well. I got a pulled pork sandwich... something that I haven't had in a really long time. I enjoyed it... it was nice and tasty! It was a nice sized lunch along with the fries. The people that work here are nice and friendly and the space here is fun. Definitely a cool place to come and hang out in!

But Capitol Market is very local to me and I've shopped there a few times over the last year or so. They have a good assortment of sauces, condiments, rice, noodles, soups, seasonings and a solid, but basic, vegetable selection. The freezer cases filled with all sorts of goodies from frozen meats to sweets. Prices seemed pretty reasonable. The service is friendly. The checkout area can get a little crowded with peeps coming in and out the door. PS - The last time I was in, the restaurant next door was open and whatever they were cooking smelled delicious. Note to self: come back to the restaurant and try some pho.

I had a coupon from restaurant.com, $10 off of $20 or more purchase. I get there and they would not honor it. It had their name and address on it so it was legit, but they would not honor it whatsoever. I was very disappointed in the customer service and how they handled it. The food was below average, as the food was a little dry. I think I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. If you won't honor the coupon, I suggest you call the website to remove your business so it won't disappoint your customers. Shame cause I've been here before and they were usually nice....until I brought the coupon. SMH! read more

We moved to Lacey a couple months ago from Seattle and we are so happy we discovered El Taco Amigo. The staff is very friendly, and the food is exceptionally good. This has become our favorite place to eat and it's so close to our home. read more
