    House Special
    Jessica L.

I got the House Special sandwich, the bread was perfectly crispy and tasted super fresh. Personally, I didn't love the combination of meats in the House Special, but it was still really good overall. Next time, I think I'll just go with a sandwich that has one type of meat. The portion size is generous too--I think I'd split one with someone next time so I can try more items. The service was also really fast, there wasn't much of a wait. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee, and the staff member actually had me taste it first to make sure I liked it before handing me the cup. That was such a thoughtful touch and an extra level of customer care you don't see very often. I'll definitely be coming back to try the vermicelli and some of the other sandwiches. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

They're not perfect but they're still good. I saw a poster posted on their Facebook page announcing some additions to their menu. I saw spring rolls, roasted pork belly banh mi, and bo ne. I've left comments a few times that they should take pics of their own food instead of stock, or AI. Would prefer seeing their food. As it is, I'm so glad they offer an extra bag of veggies. Today I ordered the spring rolls, roasted pork belly banh mi, as well as my usual house special (cold cuts). I admit go being super curious about what their spring rolls would be like. I ate the spring rolls and half the roasted pork belly banh mi and I'm entering a food coma. The roasted pork belly tastes a bit more like bbq pork.

The grilled beef bánh mì was right on time! The bread had the perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft inside. The beef was flavorful, the veggies were fresh and crunchy, and it had just the right amount of heat. Every bite was balanced and delicious. Definitely one I'd order again!

5/09/2026: Wooo hoooOOOooo! Not only do they have the market cornered for the most delicious banh mi in the entire AV... now you can get gift certificates to share the love with friends and family! We had occasion to say Thank You to someone recently and picked up a gift certificate for them. It's the perfect fit!

Nice and clean place to grab a quick sandwitch. This restaurant opened about 2 months ago. The sandwich itself was very good! The bread tasted freshly baked - and it was! Customer service was also great. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat this is the place. Plenty of parking in front too!

I was so excited when I heard that Bánh Mì sandwiches had finally arrived in the Antelope Valley! My husband and I have been dreaming of this day. I stopped by to pick up lunch for us and was pleasantly surprised to see they were offering grand opening specials. The shop is located right on the corner of the shopping center, making it easy to find. When I walked in, I was greeted by a beautiful, open space. The decor was cute and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the beef and pork Bánh Mì, and it was exciting to finally enjoy one locally instead of having to drive far to find a good one. My Bánh Mì craving was definitely satisfied, and I'm looking forward to coming back again and seeing the sandwiches reach their full flavor potential as they continue settling in. One of the biggest reasons I'm giving four stars is because the staff was amazing. There was about a 45-minute wait, which is understandable for a brand-new restaurant that's still working out the kinks and developing their flow. What stood out to me was how thoughtful the team was during that time. A waitress came over personally to apologize for the wait and kindly offered me an egg roll and a bottle of water while I waited, which I appreciated tremendously. The egg roll was delicious as well. Overall, I'm happy to see more diverse food options coming to the AV and wish them continued success as they grow.

I came in excited to try this new place especially because we lack Vietnamese cuisine out here there's only 2 places out here that are delicious but we did not have any Bahn Mi. The service: the cashier was friendly and very nice, super helpful and attentive. She took my order and also offered a drink and egg roll since they just opened. I ordered the grilled beef and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Vietnamese iced coffee: it was okay, it was a bit on the sour side and it could had been a bit more full, I feel that it lacked volume on the cup, for $5.25 and the amount of Vietnamese coffee it is below the amount the cup should be. It should be a little stronger too in my opinion. Maybe offer it for a bit less a until the cup has more in it especially since it's basically half of the cup amount. I hope this is improved soon I understand they are new and hopefully the iced coffee is better next time. I do love Vietnamese coffee and have been drinking this for years so I know when I do have a great cup of Vietnamese iced coffee. The food: the grilled beef bahn mi, it was very flavorful I did ask for no mayo but got mayo it's okay but usually I don't like mayo, the veggies were good just wished it had more pickled daikon. The meat could of been a little bit more tender but Overall a great sandwich it had good flavor. Egg roll was super delicious, crispy and hot loved it. Overall will come back again maybe not get the iced coffee but the sandwich was very good. I see potential in this place and hopefully things do improv

Banh Mi 68 in Lancaster truly impressed me. The food tasted incredibly fresh from start to finish. The bread was perfectly toasted and crispy on the outside, yet soft and airy on the inside exactly what you want in a great banh mi. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the herbs tasted vibrant and fresh, adding the perfect balance. The cashier was also very kind and attentive, taking the time to customize our Vietnamese coffee exactly to our liking, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful spot with quality food and great service. I will definitely be coming back.

I had work in the area and was excited to see this nearby Banh Mi store. The store itself is very nice and warm when coming in. The customer service was great. I ordered a vegetarian banh mi. I was a little bit disappointed because it tasted super bland. I wish they would season the tofu before frying it, or at least add some soy sauce inside the banh mi. The pickle was underseasoned. It was neither sweet nor sour. The only plus point is that the tofu was freshly fried. You could feel the crunch and milky texture. The bread was hot and crispy. This is my experience with the vegetarian banh mi I ordered. I hope other items are better.

I grew up in Orange County in Little Saigon, where there's a huge Vietnamese community, so I was really craving a good bánh mì here in Lancaster. I decided to stop by Banh Mi 68, and it definitely did not disappoint. I had a really great experience right from the start. The cashier, was so pleasant and conversational that I immediately felt welcomed. Honestly, that kind of service makes a place stand out, and it made me fall in love with this spot. Everyone on staff seemed to have amazing customer service, and the food was delicious. I tried the special combination bánh mì, and it was very good. The Vietnamese cold cuts were flavorful and tasted authentic. The egg rolls were also delicious. If I had one small suggestion, I wish the sandwich were a little bigger for the price, and the bread a bit softer and more buttery instead of dense. I'd also prefer the pickled vegetables sliced a little thinner. But overall, it was still very tasty!! I'd definitely come back in a heartbeat. There's a lot to choose from on the menu, and I'd recommend anyone in the Antelope Valley who's craving Vietnamese food to give their sandwiches a try.

I'm honestly really happy to finally have a bánh mì spot here in Lancaster. It's a bit on the pricier side, but it still hits all the key elements of a classic bánh mì and definitely satisfies my cravings. That said, I do have a couple small notes personally, I think the veggies could be sliced a bit thinner, and the bread was a little harder than I prefer. But I also understand this place just opened, so there's always room for adjustments as they settle in. Overall, I still want to support this spot because it's the only bánh mì place around, and I'm excited to see how they grow. Definitely worth trying if you've been craving bánh mì like me!

The food was absolutely amazing! They are very busy and ran out of beef but that's so awesome and okay! Most new restaurants have trouble gaging on quantity vs quality and I have to say they are absolutely killing it! I wanted the beef but as I said they ran out for the day( nice to hear that's how you know quality and freshness is a big deal for them!) So I went with my second choice with the grilled pork! Super flavorful slightly over cooked but still tender and delicious, came with a fried egg roll that looks small but stuffed with meat filling, and due to my wait they offered me a drink on the house, super simple interior but a nice spot! Just from my personal observation they most definitely need a few more kitchen staff as groups with larger orders did have a longer wait but over all I must give the restaurant their full credit! Keep up the amazing quality and food will come again!

First off, I'm honestly so happy a bánh mì spot finally opened in the AV. Moving from Long Beach out here has been kinda tough food-wise, especially not having easy access to the Asian food I'm used to. The place itself was super clean, and the staff were really welcoming. Sophia stood out--she was friendly, made conversation with my sister and me, and just had good energy overall. I ordered the house special (bánh mì đặc biệt) and I'd give it a solid 8.5/10. Only thing I'd tweak is the pickled veggies--I personally prefer them cut a bit thinner, more like a julienne style. But overall, it was still really good. Definitely recommend checking it out, and I'll for sure be back. Also, the little drawings around the shop were a nice touch--it made the whole place feel more relaxed and inviting instead of super serious lol

Walking in, they had plenty of booths and tables that can accommodate both small and large groups. You order before you sit down, and they also have a self-serve water station. We tried the Egg Rolls (3 pieces) and Dumplings (5 pieces) for appetizers, and for our main meals we ordered the Beef Stew Soup and the Glass Noodle Chicken Soup. The egg rolls and dumplings were crispy and flavorful, and the sweet and sour dipping sauce paired well with both. I actually thought I had ordered the beef pho, so I was surprised when the beef stew came out but that was completely my mistake. It ended up being a pleasant surprise because it was hearty, full of flavor, and reminded me a lot of sopa de res. The Glass Noodle Chicken Soup was much lighter, with a clean, comforting broth that made for a great contrast to the rich beef stew. Both soups were generously portioned. The customer service was friendly, and the food came out fairly quickly. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to coming back to try more items from their menu.

The restaurant was clearly overcrowded, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner became rude and disrespectful. The owner repeatedly complained that they were overwhelmed and couldn't handle additional guests. Rather than providing good customer service or communicating respectfully, he turned customers away and made us feel unwelcome. Eventually, we were asked to leave despite there being available seating when we arrived. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but there is no excuse for poor customer service or rude behavior toward paying customers. If a business cannot manage being at full capacity, it should have a better system in place rather than taking frustration out on guests. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

Anyway, this place apparently is a fancy Cuban restaurant according to my aunt. We decided to eat here for dinner after 7pm on a Saturday and it was booked. A great place to take a date if you can even get one nowadays, lucky you. You found the right place. The Cuban food ordered was a vaca frita sandwich that was reasonably priced at $17 or so. It was dry, lacked seasoning and had even more dry plantain chips on the side fried to high heaven. My aunt ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Still dry but more moist than my vaca frita sandwich. Server was Juan, he was good, good patience and quick delivery. Good overall was mid in my book. Maybe should have ordered the $65 plate with seafood. But it was overpriced. Although I could afford it, $65 for a plate is ridiculous. The other entrees included the fried bananas but the sweeter ones and black beans and rice with for example oxtail, fried steak, chicken and pork, of which was overpriced as well. At least $30 for each dish or more. Take a look at that menu. The ambiance inside was loud, outside was louder. Music was playing and there was this massive window door that separated the inside and outside. Inside it was small, there was a bar area for alcohol drinkers and in the back was a nice restroom. Other than that, it was a decent Cuban place, needs to adjust prices for the entree, but the sandwiches were at that sweet spot. The sand which to me needed sauce like tabasco or cholulu or some sort of wet birria sauce that would make it taste better. Incredibly dry, was not a fan of the texture, taste was fine. Came out to $50 for both plates and it was a little lackluster in my opinion but everything else, good service, nice ambiance and decent sandwich prices, it was worth the visit but maybe a one and done not sure. Maybe the plates are delicious.

With that said, I was sadly disappointed with Shandra Thai. Starting with the Thai iced tea: it wasn't the worst I've had, but definitely not the best. It tasted like it was brewed from tea (which is a plus), but it had way too much milk added, which diluted the flavor. It was also overly sweet. On the bright side, the portion is huge for $8, so it's definitely shareable. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp pad thai, which is a pretty standard dish. It was decent and came with a good amount of shrimp, but the flavor leaned way too sweet for my liking. I ordered the wor wonton soup, and this is where things really went downhill. The broth honestly reminded me of those seasoning packets that come with instant ramen--very salty and lacking depth. It was so salty that I could only manage a couple of spoonfuls before I started to feel sick. I'm also fairly certain the shrimp in the soup was frozen (see photo). It's disappointing to pay $18 for a dish that ends up going to waste. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be coming back.
