My brother and I stopped in for carryout breakfast tacos on a Sunday morning. Alas, they didn't have brisket breakfast tacos, but had some good alternatives. Their flour tortilla is the choice here, and I believe it is Sonoran style: good enough to just eat by itself. My absolute favorite was the barbacoa ($3.25), very tender stewed beef with added onion and cilantro...not meant to be a breakfast taco I think. The other 3 tacos I tried did have egg. The potato & egg ($3.25) had big chunks of potato and plenty of egg: very filling not particularly tasty. The chorizo and egg ($3.25) was was prepared together, with the small chorizo pieces mixed in with the egg. And the fajita and egg ($4.79) used two slices of skirt steak flavored with fajita flavoring...for my preference, works better in skillet fajitas than in a breakfast taco.
