My spouse and I tried Sabino's Mexican Cocina for the first time today, and honestly, we were so impressed. You can tell this is a true family-owned restaurant, and that personal touch makes a huge difference. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the biggest smiles. Sabino and his family made us feel welcome right away, and the service from his daughters was absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience. And the FOOD... We started with the chips and queso, and that queso was easily one of the best I've had in a long time. You can taste that it's made in-house, and the jalapeños on the side were the perfect touch. I ordered the Enchiladas Al Carbon, and they were GOOD AF. The fajita meat was flavorful and tender, and the enchiladas, beans, and rice were all delicious. Even the sides stood out, which says a lot because I'm usually more focused on the main dish. My spouse ordered the chicken mole enchiladas and absolutely loved them. The mole had so much flavor, and was already talking about wanting them again. We also had margaritas. I had one on the rocks and my spouse had a frozen margarita. Both were delicious and, thankfully, they weren't shy with the tequila. Definitely a good margarita! What really stood out to us, though, was the hospitality. There's something special about eating somewhere where the owners and their family are actually there, taking care of their customers and putting their heart into the restaurant. You don't always get that at the bigger Mexican restaurants. If you're in the Humble/Atascocita area, PLEASE give Sabino's a try. We went to a geocaching event in Humble, did some more geocaching in the area, and as we were driving home, found we were hungry. About five minutes before we passed Sabino's, I opened the app and saw the reviews. Great timing! We entered, and there was a customer standing in the front. We asked her if Sabino's was good and she began to rave about their food! She was right! Firstly, the service was extraordinary. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. We ordered mixed fajitas for two. Yummy! Hot, seasoned well, and the tortillas...amazing. The guacamole was SO GOOD, I thought about ordering some to take home, but we live two hours away. We have a ton of leftovers, which I'm probably going to break out around midnight. Don't sleep on this place! We'll be back! read more

I must say we felt very welcomed. Now let's get to the food we started with queso which was really good. I ordered the chicken and beef fajitas, my husband ordered a burrito that was huge. We both loved our food, full of flavor, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. As we were checking out the owner told us know that your always at home here. That's what we felt like during our visit. Our first time dinning at Sabido's Mexican Restaurant. We were looking for breakfast or brunch at round 10:00 a.m. The space is cozy, clean, and not too over the top. The owner, Sabido greeted, seated, and took our order. He is a lovely man. I ordered the carnitas (slow cooked pork in chunks) which comes with a side of refried beans, rice, and pico de gallo with slices of avocado with warm corn tortillas, and my husband ordered the huevos (eggs) rancheros (top with a mild red sauce) with a side of refried beans and potato cubes and a chorizo and egg taco. Food was served hot and fresh. The table salsa is meant for the masses (not too spicy). My only feedback is that I prefer baking powder in my tortilla recipe. Our dessert was an iced cold Mexican Coke Cola. We will be back to try other dishes. If you find yourself down 1960, give Sabido's a try. read more

Literally the meaning of a "mom and pops" place !!! The husband aka Mr. Sabino himself seated us , waited on us , bartended us , packed our leftovers and paid us out , his wife prepared the food and holy moly it was super yummy !!! They have a legit patio that is pup friendly and the owners are amazingly welcoming and super accommodating for dietary purposes or even picky eaters ... they close super early compared to other places near by but it turns out it's literally only the "mom and pop" that are working it so 11-8,9 are the only ones there all day so keep that in mind when you visit . Due to construction, they are a bit slow right now, and I would honestly hate to have a great place like this close and loose the best Tex Mex place nearby. Sabinos is definitely a place worth visiting for togo or dining in or even a catered event!! read more

The food was made fresh by the owner and his wife. While we waited he told us about his family/children and how much he works for them. She does all the cooking in small batches. I had a generous serving of three enchiladas (with real cheese), and my husband enjoyed a made-to-order salad with the most tender fajita meat he has ever had. These people really deserve support as their business is hurting due to the continued construction on FM 1960, although their parking lot is still quite accessible.
