Wife is a huge fan of all things salmon. I was delighted to find Hornitos Tequila marinated salmon with zucchini and yellow squash on their menu. This made for an easy choice for our weekly date night dinner. I enjoyed their chicken and chorizo fajitas with a side of charro beans. I have developed a love of these flavor bombs. Fresh ingredients prepared perfectly made for a wonderful experience. The waitstaff is amazing , easy conversation made for a feeling of enjoyment of this family owned business. Food,service,and atmosphere checked all the boxes. Highly recommended giving them the opportunity to win your favor. Sidebar we drove a hour from home to sample this restaurant. To start we were sat and the hostess failed to give us menu/mention that the QR code was available to scan for the menu. We started with the guacamole which was very good and flavorful. This was the best part of the entire meal. The burrito verde was full of steak which was good but it was on the smaller size and not fully wrapped into a burrito which was weird. The rice and beans were not good. The chile verde had way more veggies than meat which was disappointing and they never brought out the tortillas. Overall it was average. read more

Staff and owners are all friendly, taking the time to get to know their customers! Chips and Queso are good, especially when requested with jalapeños! My husband loves the enchiladas verde with chicken and I am a fan of the ceviche. Though, I would prefer club cracker as opposed to saltines with ceviche. tried the food at the butterfly release festival and it was good. the two white ladies taking orders seemed agitated and very rude with their workers... they were out of alot of things which they could've easily removed from the white board with all the items instead of catching attitudes. Disappointed. We went here a few months ago and it was decent, however when we came back today it was terrible. The fajitas were more greasy than anywhere else we've gone. I returned and the minute I mentioned the name on the order, they immediately apologized and made every effort to make it right. They even tried to call and bring it to us. Mistakes happen. 2nd Visit today and just as great as the first. These guys and gals are super friendly. The menu can be a bit overwhelming with the many options, but my first visit I asked jokingly for a recommendation, I think I confused the waiter but with help from who I assume was the manager that night, they made a good pick for me! 2nd visit was just as friendly, poor waitress filling up my drink every 5mins lol. Great authentic Mexican food, possibly best in town. Great service. But STOP! $61 for 2 specials, 2 margaritas, and cheese/hamburger dip. It was $7 more until I complained. Won't be returning. Margaritas last time we went were $5; today they were $8. First time they were great, 2d time they were not; however, they were so loaded with alcohol that I left drunk for a while on just one. I felt like they wanted to get me drunk, so they could take advantage of us financially. Waitress did not bring our receipt, she just rang us up on a machine right at the table. When she was taking our order, she was recommending things to us, and we were trying to read through the Spanish; ie. "cheese dip" and "house margarita". The cheese dip she recommended was $10 and the margaritas were not your typical house margaritas. Take your chances, but we are sorry to say we won't be returning.
