They took care of my problem within 15 minutes. I can't say enough good things about this place. I'm surprised I hadn't rated this place already. I discovered them because they were one of the few tire places in my area that was open during the pandemic when the shut downs were taking place. The first time I went they were fine the prices were a little bit higher than my previous used tire place but it was fine. What was objectionable was the second time I went. I got there right when they open because I am was planning to take a trip down to Oceanside and I want a new tires. The technician starts on my service but then another customer arrived who clearly knew the owner of this business. He told the technician to stop working on my car take care of this other woman first while I waited and then got back to me. If she had been the one to arrive first and they were serving her first, absolutely no problem. But having the owner tell the technician to stop working on my car and make me wait while they did this other woman who came after me pretty much told me that they didn't want my business so I have not given it to them anymore since that episode. read more

I recently had a popped tire and decided to go to my local tire shop to get it fixed. While I thought it was going to be a wait, I was actually attended immediately when I arrived. They went on to change my tire within 10 minutes. Although I only went in to change my tire before they started working on my tire, Christian the son's owner noticed a nail on one of my other tire. I decided to try this place because it was more convenient to my home but NEVER again!!! basically you get what you get here, they don't want you to inspect the used tires you are purchasing even though they don't offer any kind of warranty. I drove in requested two tires the set of tires they brought us were trash so we requested another set and as soon as they saw us inspecting them another man who was not even the one helping us started yelling at us basically saying he didn't want us inspecting the tires, WOW!!! Tells you what kind of business they are running. I love this place. They charge a solid price and get you back on the road quick. Most recently I stopped in because my low PSI dash light has been on. I tried twice to inflate properly w air at the gas station but the low PSI light popped on again. I pulled in, told the guy what was happening... He said I'm getting home no matter what.. he lended me his spare tire from his BMW and had a tire the next day for a great price. Fix it, took care of everything. Any tire issues I've ever encountered since I've been driving, I've come to this location as it's one of my only 2 honest, affordable and trustworthy locations - But boy was I wrong recently. As recently as this past weekend, Saturday 9/19. I called up AAA, after arriving from work in order to air up my tire in order to commute nearby to my local tire repair shop, so I decided to come to "El tigre ". I arrive and i was immediately attended, which is great right? It all went down hill from there. I have the problematic tire/wheel removed, upon quick inspection there's a small fragment of a nail lodged into the rubber that was causing my entire issue. I look over at the guy and say let's patch it up - His response is "Ok.. we charge $25 to patch a tire now". I'm nearly convinced as I need my daily driver to get around from work to home. He then removes the rim, and returns and tells me "The tire, we cannot patch it up. The nail went through.." so at this point I try to hold my laugh in, because of course, common sense - In order for me to have a flat something would have had to punctured it. Pretty simple right? He tries to tell me the tire is no good by a used one for $30 lmao.. I'm no tire expert, but I know enough that these guys were trying to scam me to give up on my tire, so that they could resell it for profitability. That wasn't happening. I asked the guys to put my wheel/tire back together, and I'll take it somewhere else. They tried to charge me $10 for their "Labor" smh. I ended up driving around the corner to "Mariachi tire" on 1616 W Adams where I got the tire patched up for $15, and the crew there went above and beyond to go as far as wiping down and applying tire dressing to my wheel/tires. Stay away from "El Tigre" this place has changed since I last been here. They lied to me, then tried to scam me out of a tire and then tried to charge me $10 for doing nothing but trying to be thieves. Go elsewhere folks. read more

Bad Service man. Wouldn't recommend it. They charged me more for , them braking my tire locks , when I clearly told them to use a torque wrench not the torque gun on the side of that they said my tire locks were already broken. Tell me why would I carry broken tire locks on my rims??? ...on the side of that they scratched and damaged my rim. All this was for a alignment ... not coming back that's for sure. read more

Had a flat tire on my brand new Honda Civic and out of convenience decided to get my tire patched. They proceeded to remove the wheel that had a nail in it and carefully patched my tire. No issues with the tire patching as its been running strong for about 2 months now. But they did scratch my new rim in the process. The also installed my wheel using the impact wrench which is a no go in my book or anyone that knows and cares about their cars dearly. If you do go here just ask then to make sure theyre careful with not scratching the wheels and to kindly invest in a torque wrench to tighten lug nuts. read more

This Mexicans repair shop is good. Korean's shop they are sucks. They call the expensive price for the tires. Actually everything is expensive for koreans to koreans. Yesterday I called park's tire shop. First, his voice was not kind. Second, he told me we don't have used one and the new one 140 dollars. Fuck it. And then I called up here. This Shop said used one for Toyota Sienna is 35 dollars and new one is 85. I bought good condition like new one tire for 60 dollars. This is middle price for deal. I was driving towards downtown and my tire light went off and I knew I had an issue with one of my tires. I looked up Yelp and found this place right off the I-10. Not the best of areas, but I was concerned about the fact this is a new car and I needed to get it checked. I pulled in and I believed it was the owner, took care of me. He took of the tire I assumed was the problem and placed it in the water bath, and lo and behold I had a leak. He told me he could do a plug for $5 for a "real" fix for $15, so of course I went with the $15 fix.
