Also the shredded cheese was simply slapped on and wasn't even melted making it feel unfinished. The only good thing was their bbq sauce and the mac and cheese. The meat had a nice char and the tacos are generously heaped with carne. I think the most surprising element of Crearee is their outdoor dining space. The restaurant is located off the road parallel to the main drag in Bishop. The patio area has plenty of seating with ambient music playing in the background. It's a relaxing pit stop before you head off into the wilderness. Crearee is worth a stop whether you're in need of a meal meal or just a snack.

We ordered the Muffaletta Sandwich, which was very tasty. We also got a croissant and oatmeal cookie. Both were giant, fresh and delicious. They do not serve espressos but their coffee is very good. They do have cream and a couple of different Torani syrups if you would like some flavoring. We will definitely make this a regular stop as we pass through Independence monthly on our way back and forth to Bridgeport.
