Crearee has no business of existing in Bishop, but yet it does. The interior of Crearee is ultra modern. Half of the space functions as a market selling fresh produce, snacks, and essentials. The other half is a fast casual set up where you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. We ordered: -bean and cheese burrito ($11) -2 asada tacos ($3.75 each): topped with onions and cilantro That bean and cheese burrito with the spicy red salsa slapped. I felt like the ratio was a little bean heavy, but I didn't mind because the beans had plenty of flavor. The carne asada tacos were quite good as well. The meat had a nice char and the tacos are generously heaped with carne. I think the most surprising element of Crearee is their outdoor dining space. The restaurant is located off the road parallel to the main drag in Bishop. The patio area has plenty of seating with ambient music playing in the background. It's a relaxing pit stop before you head off into the wilderness. Crearee is worth a stop whether you're in need of a meal meal or just a snack. read more

This spot was such a pleasant surprise! It's clean, modern, and well designed without feeling stuffy, and the prices are very reasonable. It's a really unique grocery store and Mexican restaurant concept, and everything was extremely well organized and hygienic. I was especially impressed by the quality of the food and how clean and fresh everything was prepared. Not something you'd necessarily expect to find in the middle of a road trip on the way to Tahoe! They have a beautiful patio and a really nice interior, making it a great stop for a quick, authentic Mexican lunch or even just to grab snacks and drinks. Really cute and unique Mexican spot in Bishop! The food was solid for the area, but the biggest highlight was definitely the charming attached shop filled with the most eclectic finds. I was so surprised by their produce selection, which included tons of exotic fruits like jackfruit, cacao, and rambutans. As for the food, the mulitas were delicious! The carne asada was packed with flavor, and I loved the spicy salsa it came with. The bowl was good too, though pretty standard and nothing to write home about. They have plenty of seating in a really cute outdoor area, though it can be a bit tough to hang out there if the heat is blazing! read more

Driving through town to Tahoe, had to stop at Tesla charger across street and stumbled upon this gem. I'm from LA so having quality Mexican food that beats home is hard to do. Crearee hit the spot for our family. We tried the Adobada Burrito, Asada Quesadilla, and Asada Torta and all were amazing. Portions were large. I couldn't finish the burrito as you can tell from half eaten portion left in picture. Happy leftovers for later! There is also a great little market inside with some true authentic Latino goods. Love the hot Cheeto corn a must while traveling to Bishop or mammoth straight from the cob shaved into a cute box literally so good ,,, now the carne asada burrito was huge in size and absolutely no meat lol we dig through it looking no meat for about 16 bucks if we lived there definitely would of taken it back and ask where the MEAT. Good stop along the 395 for some warm food, but their meat ratio in their breakfast burrito is pretty lacking. Tastewise, it's as expected and good but pretty disappointed that it was mostly eggs, potatoes, and a small handful or two of bacon. read more

The ordering area looks like a reception desk at a hotel while the restroom is one of the nicest restrooms I've ever been in as far as a burrito shop goes lol. Their market has various Mexican items and things like chips, drinks, fruits and veggies. We ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was very big and filling and very tasty, the spicy salsa sauce has a bit of a kick to it but not too spicy. Really wanted to like this place. Tried to find the best breakfast burrito in Bishop based on online reviews, and landed on this place. First off, the salsas are amazing...would definitely recommend paying to get whichever one you didn't pick for free (the green is mild and the red is hot...they are both really good). Added refried beans...probably had too many, but they are really good. The issue was the amount of black pepper in the eggs. I really like black pepper, probably put it on most things, but this had an overpowering amount that took over the whole burrito's taste. read more

Our third visit and the food was fantastic again. I get the plant based tacos and my husband switches off with the bean burrito. There's a lot of food and the service is fast enough. Everyone is friendly and there's a small patio but I like to take it to go a find a scenic spot. The vanilla matcha is great iced or hot. We drive through Bishop several times a year. This time we wanted something different and a place that could accommodate a quick stop and be pet friendly. We both ordered two vegan tacos, one "carne asada" ( made with monk fruit) and another taco that tasted like chicken. They were Amazing-- and we enjoyed our lunch in their charming patio. Made a quick stop to grab the mangonada that I read such great things about and it truly lived up to the hype. It was made so quickly and tasted super refreshing after a long day of hiking. The straw is actually a tamarind stick, just the way you expect a mangonada to be served! I was also recommended the watermelon version which I will definitely try next time. Wasn't hungry enough for food but they had burritos, tacos and more on the menu as well. They also have elote if you just wanted a small bite.
