I don't know what the other reviewers were thinking, the food is great, fast, and the service is personable and professional. We ordered the fajitas combo, and the enchiladas mexican flag w/ a fried egg. The food came out hot and steaming, and like a punch to the mouth with flavor.

Wow! Food is absolutely delicious and serving sizes are very generous. Nothing better then authentic Mexican food!

    Nacho supreme?? Nacho much.

Downhill. I remember coming to this place years ago and everything being authentic and delicious with great service. ALL of that has changed. Don't know if it's new ownership or what. 1) The margaritas were straight mix and WAY too sweet. 2) The food quality is a few notches above Casa Bonita. The nachos were inedible. Canned beef. Slimy guacamole. No love in these dishes. 3) The service was extremely slow and very in inefficient. The server's were nice - I will say that. But it took forever. And of the 6 people in our party 3 of them got their food 5 minutes+ before the rest of us did. Very sad because this place used to be good. But this will be the last time I visit. However... if they're changing formats to be a Karaoke bar with taco-bell quality eats, they're right on track.

The Chile replenish and tamale were great! The complimentary chips and queso were good, too. Really liked the salsa. Food came quickly.

Great food, staff, and drinks. We were the only two gueros in the place which is also a good sign.

We went on…read moretaco Tuesday and had no problem getting bar seating (or there were a few tables available) around 5pm but I noticed after 6pm people were waiting for seating. The food was delicious! We got $2 chips and salsa off the happy hour menu and the queso con soyrizo (not on HH menu) which was served with warm tortillas. Honestly we probably didn't need all that because the tacos were so good I could've just filled up on more of the tacos, but still was a great meal! I ordered the lengua, pastor, and taco special (breaded shrimp). They were all so good. Think taco quality of a good street taco spot but with the ambiance of a cute tex mex bar. The bartender was great and made a solid marg ($8 on happy hour). You get a great deal on taco Tuesday but I'm sure you'd get great service and quality any day of the week!

I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.

Happy hour is from 4-6 every day and the deals are great. The quesabirria and the camarones al aljillo were delicious.
