Probably the best Mexican restaurant I've been to. The Mexican guacamole (upgrade from the standard guacamole dip) will change. your. life. It was so good. I wish I had just ordered two batches of that and eaten it as my meal. The other dish I had was called the Special El Primo.... Whoever the chef is at El Torito has got the meat cooking down to a science. The beef was perfectly cooked. Perfect amount of sauce to cheese to veggies ratio. Just perfect. The best Mexican restaurant in Paducah. Every time I've gone there they have had consistent great service. The food is great and cheap. It looks like it's pretty clean (I've never been in the kitchen or anything). Really cool and nice waiters. You can get a meal there for under 10$. The only downside they have is that their ice cream machine is never working lol. But if you are in Paducah I would 100% recommend this restaurant. read more

AMAZING! I wish we didn't live 139 miles away bc if we didn't then we would be here every week. On a trip back to Nashville we stopped here craving an early dinner and everything was as delicious as my favorite Mexican restaurant in Cary, North Carolina, Toreros. For the record, I've never found another Mexican restaurant in the US as good as Toreros but this restaurant is as good. Anyway we had chips, salsa, queso, and split chicken fajitas. It was all perfect!!! The chips were thin and warm, the queso is white queso, and the chicken fajitas were perfectly cooked. The rice and beans were also awesome. Just all around authentic Mexican food done right! Do yourself a favor and eat here to support this restaurant so that every time we are driving by we will be able to stop to eat. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I knew it had great ratings but I didn't know it was that good. The server was super nice, attentive, and prompt. The food came out so quickly and was so delicious. I ordered the popeye chimichanga and the sauce was delicious, the combination of beans, chicken, and spinach was fantastic and cooked well, and the plate was huge! I love that their rice is seasoned well too. My favorite though is definitely the chips and salsa. I think they're made in house (and they taste so good I couldn't stop!!!!), and the salsa is thinner but still flavored amazingly. I definitely would go back. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Paducah and Mayfield area. We usually eat here once a week. Their super thin, crispy tortilla chips and salsa are sooo good! I usually get the hard shell tacos and hubby gets the fajitas. Big portions. Everything we have ever tried is good - chimichanga, enchiladas, fajita bowl, burritos, and the lava bowl is fun and tasty! We have never had a bad experience here. If you ever Find yourself on Cairo Road in Paducah Kentucky you owe it to yourself to stop at El torito, what a find! The place is spotless, the waiter was very friendly and helpful. Now to the food, OMG start with a perfectly mixed margarita, salsa and the lightest chips. We had shrimp fajitas for 2 . Meal came with about two dozen grilled shrimp with onions and peppers. A separate plate held a salad with guacamole, tomatoes sour cream rice and refried beans. Food came out super hot, more then enough to eat and still bring a lot home I would highly recommend this restaurant read more

We were passing through on Good Friday and decided our one meal of the day (a day of fasting) would be at El Torito. So happy with our choice! The chips and salsa were extra tgin and warm and crispy served with flavorful salsa. We got guac on the side and it was full of chunky fresh tomotoes. Good, but needed salt and pepper. Ordered shrimp fajitas (generous portions and delicious) and a quessadilla rellena--excellent. Even the sides, normally nothing special, but these rice and beans were very good! We brought a bus-load of hungry students to El Torito on our journey home from a successful engineering competition and all were satisfied with this deluctible destination in Paducah, KY. The menu was extensive and each dish was an impressive mix of flavors, quantity and presentation. The service was fast and friendly and our salsa dish was never empty, despite the generous portions of freshly made thin tortilla chips. Highly recommend this gem! read more

Driving through town on a road trip, checking Yelp for a takeout restaurant. This place had wonderful reviews so we gave it a try. If I could give them 10 starts I would!!
