Extremely nice and accommodating staff. I did pickup. The cashier easily retrieved a missing cheese sauce. I liked the food: a cross between authentic and American. The beef tips in the quesadilla were a little salty but tender. I really liked the ground beef burrito. Good sauces and salsas. I didn't expect raw jalapeños. I visited this place with my sister and husband. The staff was super nice. They have half off margaritas even on the weekend, I opted for water and did not try their drinks however looked very large in portion. The staff is nice. They provide free chips and salsa. My sister and I split a side of fries and an order of 3 tamales and subbed out the green sauce for queso. They were very good and filling, we had one to go. The fries were great , you could tell they were fresh cut. If you are looking for good Mexican food and quick service or need to go with a larger group this is the place to go! read more

While visiting Cincinnati, we were craving Mexican and decided to try El Vaquero. Good decision! This colorful dining area is welcoming, and the staff were friendly. The chips were fresh and made a great delivery system for the cheese dip. My bean and cheese quesadilla was delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. The pomegranate margarita was amazing! One of the best I've had. The service was efficient and the owner even came out and greeted the table. The place was packed since it was a football night but still food came out promptly. I got birria it was delicious but the rice was a little bland . All in all I'll be back tho ! read more

Service was great. The salsa trio. the green tomatillo was fantastic! the other 2, I don't know what they were , just brown sauce , and a red sauce. I asked the bartender to Identify the 2 sauces in question, she couldn't identify the 2 sauces as salsa, she just kinda laughed nervously and said, that it was the sauce they use for Togo orders, Huh??? I came here for an event and the food, service, and customer service did not fail! We had about 50 people eating and space for the event was great. We had a secluded part of the restaurant with plenty of space for everyone. The event was on a Wednesday night and the rest of the restaurant was really busy too! So I can safely say the staff has the ability to handle really large crowds! The highlight of the night was talking to the manager (Divas). I got a genuine feeling from him that he cares about his customers, the food his restaurant prepares, and his work. I think this is what makes this restaurant most special. If you have any issues while dining here, I'd recommend taking to Divas first for a resolution. Whatever it is, I trust he'll do his best to make it right. Great restaurant overall! read more

After having been here for an event recently, I came back for more. First: I LOVE your salsa and that is key for me to love any mexican restaurant. I also got the queso which i really enjoyed but was too spicy for Mom (so was the salsa) but don't change a thing unless you want to have a mild version on hand for the non spicy folk. I had the quesabiralla tocos which were really good but in a perfect world i would tone down the cinnamon in these, not my fav flavor on a taco. Mom had the chicken chimmichunga which was really packed with chicken but could have used some other flavors inside. When i checked in on yelp it provided me a 20% discount on my meal. My waitress did not speak english and couldn't understand what this was or how to do it and ultimately would not provide that discount which i was disappointed in (since i was paying;). I'll still be back to try more dishes and do reco this place for some good food! read more

First time at this restaurant. Greeted nicely by D and studied the long menu for a late lunch. Decided on three dishes of our choice with 3 sides. Quickly prepared. We dine Mexican food often and we thought the dish was a 10! Especially enjoyed the Chili Relleno. We finished the meal with their flan w/chocolate sauce and it was "to die". We enjoyed a lengthy conversation with the manager D and will definitely return. Total 5 stars! read more

From the moment we put our name in with hostess - it only went downhill from there: -20 min for a server to come to table, despite us asking others to help -no water or flatware....we had to grab our self from the bar -broken cups...twice. Margarita spilled on table twice due to broken cups -about an hour wait to get food. Hair in one of our dishes. Missing slaw on fish tacos. -restrooms in horrible shape. -will not return. read more

This place Man it is a dump. I mean I don't speak Spanish at all, I need bilingual services at the restaurants I attend. Now, let's talk about the food. Foul. Several of us went to this restaurant a few evening ago. Food was pretty average and service somewhat below average. The menu is extensive and the photos look better than the food tastes. One of then worst parts of the evening was the loud rap music blaring the whole time. But the final straw was the 3% added to the bill if you want to use a credit card. There are better Mexican restaurants and I would go to one of those instead of this place. read more

As I was dining out with my usual crew, a gaggle of underage drinkers strolled in. As they got up to leave the drunkest one wiped out by the gumball machine. Safe to say he might be brain dead. The staff made no attempt to help this poor boy. Concerned about this young man and the food was not good. I had explosive diarrhea that night and for day on end.
