I would give this place 10 out of 5 stars if I could! I've been coming here for over 3 years now (shocking I haven't done a review until now!). This place is as consistently good as it gets. The service was really nice, but the food was absolutely awful. It was overly salted I literally spat my food out. It was so salty, but because it was a big family get together and a family member was paying. I just kind of ate a little bit of it. It was pretty bad unless you're old and you don't have taste buds anymore and you like lots of salt don't eat here and also I ordered a adult size platter or entrée and they gave me a child size burrito literally maybe 4 inches long. So their portions are really small and they over season everything. My children also ordered the cheesecake dish and they got something else with sprinkles and ice cream. Also, the place had a bunch of flies and it smelled dirty. Would not recommend this place. read more

This reopened under a new ownership a couple days ago. We've been coming to this place for years. We came here for lunch to try it out. We were seared and it was about 5 minutes before we were asked about drinks and received chips and salsa. The chips were ice cold and not room temperature so I don't know where they were stored or if they were from the night before. There was about 4 tables occupied when we came in and the food delivery was bad. They brought peoples food separately. Someone next to us child ordered soft tacos and they came out hard and they reordered them. It was like 10 minutes and theirs came out but the mother burrito came out about 5 minutes after that. It was like 20 minutes before they got their food. Now we ordered lunch fajita and a taco salad. It took around 20 minutes for our food to come out. As you can see I received my fajitas but no tortillas or the sides. My wife's taco salad came out after that. The shell was not hot so it wasn't them making the shells that took that long. They also put jalapeños in there without asking. There are people who do not like spicy hot food and I don't think it's standard as this is something she has ordered for years. Another 5 minutes after that she got hers, I finally received my missing items. Another couple was by us and it took forever for them to order their food. Most of the time when they were busy our food came out fast and all at the same time. I am hoping this isn't happening at dinner service. I will be back in a couple weeks during dinner service and update my review. read more

I certainly thought I was going to be wowed by this place. I don't think a place a necessarily authentic just b/c the staff is familiar with the food. This isn't it! We ordered The Who Dey fajitas; shrimp, chicken and steak. It was a large portion and came out piping hot on an iron skillet. This comes with flour tortillas (I requested corn, which were really limp and fresh out the microwave), refried beans n rice, gauc, sour, pico and lettuce. They fajita mix was very heavily seasoned and everything was salty, salty, salty, fajita, beans and rice. The rice was stiff, lettuce wilting, pico was soggy and the guacamole was turning that deep dark green color. I let the manger know at check out after he asked how things were. He said he would inform the cook and next time let him know. I am letting you know and I haven't eaten much. He walked by several times and I am sure saw the look of disgust on my face and plate of food sitting. read more

This was a takeout order. Food has really gone downhill since I ate here last a year or so ago. Shrimp chimichanga was made with an extremely thick, tough flour tortilla which was not deep-fried as they usually are everywhere else. Shrimp inside were tough and overcooked, and there were no onions and peppers as listed on the menu. Even the beans and rice, cheap ingredients anyway, were skimpy. This modest size meal cost $14.50 with a 10% tip. Although the location is convenient, I think I'll be writing it off from now on. read more

A homemade Mexican restaurant attached to a Motel. If you live somewhere in the vicinity of Colerain Avenue and the Ronald Reagan Highway this is a decent option for homemade Mexican. The servers aren't the quickest, but they are friendly. The food isn't the best, but it's good. I have yet to find that one item where they truly excel. They make a tasty margarita. The atmosphere is basically what you would expect from a homemade Mexican restaurant in SW Ohio. I'd say more, but truthfully, not much comes to mind when I think of this place. I had dinner with my husband at this restaurant for the first time tonight. I was not sure about the food since the restaurant does not look like much from the street we were seated immediately and greeted with a basket of chips and salsa. I ordered the top shelf Margarita which was very good. My husband and I shared the parrillada. Our food was brought quickly after ordering. The parrillada is a skillet with cooked vegetables, steak, chicken, shrimp and chorizo. The food was delicious! I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to others. read more

I ordered a burrito mexicano (subbed fajita chicken for the pork), and a strawberry margarita. The margarita was delicious- but no salted/sugar rim. The chips and salsa were less than. If they simply served them warm, I think they would taste much better. With this being said, it made me nervous to taste my burrito. The burrito though- PHENOMENAL!!! Needed something for dinner a bit late and stopped at Los Panchos for the first time and was not disappointed. Complimentary homemade chips and salsa were provided. I absolutely loved their salsa. I ordered the Villa's Plate, which normally comes with Mexican rice, but I substituted for extra beans. I also ordered a guacamole salad, which was awesome. This place really sucks worst experience in a restaurant. I ordered enchiladas without sour cream it. Came with sour cream. They remade it and it came out cold and the cheese not melted. I ordered fajitas no beans came out with beans again had to take it back. Also ordered no guac or sour cream and substituted extra pico and was charged for extra pico. When I talked to a manager and exasked for some type of compensation they said they comped the first meal. By the time I got my food my boyfriend was done. Asked for sugar never got it. I go here a lot; typically with my extended family. They offer the standard Mexican food that you would expect from a place like this. Lots of space inside for larger parties and typically the service is very fast and friendly. There are very few items that I have not liked. It was fairly busy for what I would call a late lunch. That's usually a good sign. I was greeted, seated, and eating in no time with their great service. This spot is a huge value. They have big lunch portions and are cheaper than the other Mexican joints. I was a happy camper! It's a big place, so I don't think you'll have an issue getting a table pretty quickly even during the busy times. The bar wasn't separate from the eating area, which always makes me worry that the noise will be too much. I've only been during lunch, so I can't say for sure. This is a pretty mediocre Mexican restaurant. If you like generic "Authentic Mexican Food", then this place might be for you. But the Molé was seriously wanting, the salsa was bland and pathetic (ask for the Habañero salsa if you want any heat), no agua fresca, and you have to specifically ask for corn tortillas instead of flour. The staff was very nice. I had them make carnitas tacos for my son (not on the menu), and they were great. So not everything is mediocre. But no tacos Al Pastor, Lingua or Chorizo? Taco Tuesdays are amazing. My husband, daughter, and I can eat there for 15$ during happy hour.... that includes two beers. The staff is always so nice.
