Very different, odd place. It is dirty. Everyone is packed in there like sardines. You are absolutely shoulder to shoulder. No room for anything or to enjoy yourself during your service. Staff is mean. They are not helpful at all. I wish them all the best. The quality is just not there for the price you are paying. I will never be back here. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. I have been in the salon twice in the last couple of weeks. My mom took me here for girls day. We also did not come on a weekend. I did notice no other customers smiling or having fun as well. I went here fully expecting I wouldn't get what I wanted or getting a sad attempt that I didn't like. Boy was I wrong, my nails came out better than I could hope for. The ladies here, Nancy and another woman who worked on my nail were absolutely fantastic. I had booked an appointment online and didn't bother to check the confirmation message so I wound up going on the wrong day, they were accommodating and so nice. I have been going here for years until the owner was rude to me and I left. I will never be going back. I dont accept being treated poorly when I am paying them for a service. She has been rude on multiple occasions. I also had my nails done a couple of times by an employee and she was very inappropriate towards me and talked about things that should stay private. The atmosphere is super cluttered. I would not reccomend going here. They lost a loyal customer of years. read more

I've been going to Elaine since 2019 and was loyal to them. Since new ownership it has gone downhill. The quality of my manicure was not even close to professional, as someone who has had many manicures. I will insert pictures. This set was dip, tip, and a French manicure. The polish was layered on uneven and started to bubble after the first day. The dip itself is covering the skin of my finger, not just adhering to my nail as it should be. Stopped in here because it was next door to my salon. I'm new to the area and was looking for a new nail place and I FOUND it! They were SO great. I have never had a nail tech talk to me so rudely as Nancy (manager) did today. Within two mins she rolled her eyes multiple times, told me it was my fault my nail (that she did) had broken. I made an appointment for 5:30 and they were clearly behind and short staffed but still took walk ins and more appointments. I was in and out in 2 hours but others took an hour just to be seen. The pedicure was decent but basic for $45. The SNS manicure was my biggest concern. I was left to soak my entire hands in pure acetone for 10+ minutes resulting in the melted powder sticking to my skin (show in pictures as I left with it still on my hands...) The SNS is incredibly bumpy and my shape is not even. I'd asked for oval and she did square. I normally never complain but I asked if she could make them more round like I'd asked and I ended up with bumpy squoval. Extremely disappointed because the other reviews were so promising! read more

This was a horrible experience. After reading positive reviews - booked an appointment days in advance. Walked in and was barely acknowledged and no acknowledgement of my appointment, and was told to sit at a station. Waited 20 minutes, nobody said a word other than they were taking someone else in front of me because "they had an appointment", which, so did I. Still ignored after mentioning this fact again. At 25 minutes, I got up and left and will take my business elsewhere. Do not recommend this place unless you want poor customer service. read more

Went for pedi and dip nails. Young orientalist girl cut my big toe nail very crooked. She scrubbed with a blue callous scrubber so hard, both my feet bled. I asked for orange dip polish. He gave me a creamsicle color. Can't even read the numbers. I asked for 170, he brought over 120. $50 for dip too much. Will not go here again. Not safe when I bleed at their expense read more

normally they do a better job but I did not get what I asked for. I asked for dip with tips and to be coffin shape. I also continuously asked for them shorter and she didn't change anything. The nails have no shape to them and they are not clean. There is nail powder and residue on my fingers and they also cut me various times with the nail file. Not happy at all read more

One of the lowest quality nail salon experiences I've ever had! Aside from being an unorganized and messy space, the customer service was borderline offensive! My appointment was not acknowledged and I was made to feel totally unwelcomed. The pedicure I received was mediocre at best because they encourage gel rather than just polish. My visit to Elaine spa was a spur of the moment idea squeezed in in between patient appointments on a random sunny Tuesday afternoon. My no chip mani was in BAD shape. I couldn't get to my usual salon and so when I realized I had some time to kill checked to see what was around me...and there she was Elaine Nail 'spa'. SPA...right, looks like they'd only been open a few months so I figured it's close enough to home...any they we're dead...so let's give it a try before I head back to work ‍ The gentleman nail tech (Juan?) was NOT having a good day. It started with his HACKING cough. As a nurse, I appreciated the fact that he was wearing a mask...however I'm sure whatever was causing the hacking cough made him feel some sort of way because I could tell from the instant he saw that I'd had a gel mani (from somewhere else...) he seemed annoyed (how dare you...new potential lifelong paying customer who JUST moved to the area come in here with someone else's gel mani on your nails-the travesty!!!) he also worked robotically slooooooow. It took about 50 minutes from start to finish and my nails turned out looking like crap. I asked for a light beige-pink sheer color, similar to what I already had. Flipped thru the gel options and seriously couldn't find ANYTHING that even remotely matches OR that I even kinda' sorta' liked ‍. You think Don the coughing Juan coulda' chimed in and said...hey, I think this color could work...NOPE. He was just like...well if you don no cuhlah...I cannnn (can't) help you. um...ok, whatever. I kept looking thru the minimal options while he started the manicure, with him taking a cough break about every 30 seconds. When I asked (again) if they had any other options closer to what was already on my nails (I LEGIT have NO IDEA what brand or color I was wearing...it's just not that important enough to me to remember trivial like that) and he "stomped his last season Prada shoes at me" I just chucked the gel options and told him to just give me a regular mani. No gel. No color. Just remove the old gel and buff them. Now the coughing diva took notice. He asks "What's the matter"? I was like nothing. At this point I wanted out of there ASAP with as little interaction with this customer service senseless idiot as possible. PS-I paid $35 and there was still a crap ton of old product on my nails and they looked like I did them myself. For that kind of money...I WILL do them myself. Thank you very much. 2 stars because the place was nice and clean and there was a mother daughter team that were getting their nails done that could have seriously had their own reality show. I have been going there for seven months. Upon their opening my cost for a dip manicure has gone from $40 to now $50 for paying cash. 5 stars for the dip manicure-always looks great and lasts a long time. 2 stars for scheduling. I always call ahead to see if they have any open appointments. I am always told to come now depending on the day I am waiting 10 to 30 minutes. 0 stars for dip removal by the male techs. The male techs pour a bowl with acetone and a paper towel and tell me to soak my nails. The female techs wrap your nails with cotton acetone and foil. That should be standard especially if they are charging $50. 0 stars for Pedicures-they do not wrap the bowls in plastic like most nail spas do. They do spray the bowls and wash them after the client has left. That type of cleaning is good enough for my tub but not at a nail spa. I won't get another pedicure there. read more
