Each time we've ever needed them, they've always been responded with a sense of urgency and care as if we were family. The sense of community here is pretty stellar compared to other places we've resided. We've got great neighbors who care about each other and us. This year 2026, we've been slammed with 2 unusual snowstorms. The maintenance team has been working day and night cleaning the property so residents can get out, but stay safe on the slippery lots and walkways. We highly recommend living here.

And I have worked in leasing for several years in this area and the DC area. This place isn't very expensive but is very overpriced for the worn out apartments they rent. We were shown a beautiful model and given a very half assed "renovated" unit that bore no resemblance to the gorgeous model. We had a lot of issues with bugs of all types. The unit was given to us very dirty. Gutters were full of crap so many overflowed. Do not rent here!!

The complex overall was quiet and well maintained. The location is very close to the train, main roadways, and shopping stores. It takes months for Service requests to be granted, even though a resident might find them urgent like mice, rodents, etc.... . Often times they say that they have already completed your request for maintenance and they have not. The front office does not answer your calls. You have questions in regards to your bill and no one returns your phone call. The lack of communication and professionalism at this place is horrible. At this point. I will continue my lease until it is up, but renewing will not be an option. They have now added on additional fees that were never added on before. We pay for water and sewage and trash and other additions like insurance and property fees that were not originally a part of the leasing agreement. Last, but not least, we lose water often, trash shoots are shut down, and security is a joke. You can get into the doors without any key or fob.

A pound me moving in the apartment it still needed additional work and I really wasn't all that happy. The service manager at the time was absolutely amazing (Marquis) he came for one thing and I was telling him about the other problems and in one day he fixed everything and even returned the next day to follow up. Little did I know that some minor maintenance would be the least of my worries. I had been living in the apartment short of two or three months, when the real problem came. After a long day of work I'm watching a movie and my boyfriend see's a mouse run across the room. I'm immediately upset and frightened at this point. I Have Never Been More Scared In My Life!!!! So, first thing the next morning I call the front office and they just acted like they were in disbelief and they would take care of the problem. Well......I can whole heartedly say it's been months and I'm still having the same problem. I have spoken with the office manager Megan and Regional Manager Karen at Scully company. They have since admitted to the older buildings as being infested with mice due to the construction around the apartments. Plus further inspection of the apartment, they have hidden holes where the pipes run for the heating, under the bathroom sink, behind the stove, etc. So it's like the mice can just go from apartment to apartment (because you can hear them all in the walls and kitchen area). I have spoken with several other tenants in the buildings and they have seen mice in their apartments. When I ask for a resolution they offered me to move on a sister property (which seemed like the simplest resolution but also was a hassle, seeing as they said everything would transfer over but when I called their property manager she said you have to go through the whole process of applying over again). So not only do I have to look for another place, I have to go through the process again, and as a healthcare worker find time to afford to move all my items somehow into another place. I'm very disgusted with management and Scully at how they are handling the situation. Mind you I haven't heard from the office in two months now, No follow up, No checking in, No Nothing!!! I want to say that the maintenance men have been absolutely AMAZING!! They have tried to make me feel as comfortable as someone in this situation can feel and they come out right away everytime I call. Christina in Dekalb office has tried to be as helpful as possible. But it's just not enough NO ONE should have to live like this. So this is just a FAIR WARNING to future residents you have been advise to LOOK else where!!!!!

The apartments are well maintained and the neighbors are quiet. The property manager is the negative about this place. He is a control freak, he unnecessarily harasses tenants, he is condescending, and he lies. For example, he won't keep the pool open during summer hours when people could actually swim, he only allows use of the recycling bin on Tuesdays, and he tells people that he is building a dog park but has yet to build one after 2 years, and he won't allow a community BBQ area, and when there is a crime on the property, he won't inform tenants so as not to unnecessarily panic them. With all the complains, I'm not sure why he hasn't been transferred to another location but for a 5 start rating, this property manager has to go.

The maintance staff is very compatant handling and type of work order submitted plus they always clean up when done the work. The office Staff consisting of Tiffany and Denise are excellent and very responsive to and concerns or questions. They submit work order within a hour and most orders are done the same day. However, when I rented in 2024-2025, the experience was completely different. I think it's the office management, led by Marissa, but probably also Kaiserman corporate office has changed. They have become non responsive to residents, and very defensive. There were also many problems with water lines and gas lines. I feel so sorry for families with young children having to go without for days at a time. And no refunds to anyone. It's sad, as there aren't many rentals in the area that accept dogs, and again, the location is fantastic. However, I am so glad to be out, and warn anyone considering the move, it all changes once you are a resident. The office is literally hostile. Except for Cat who seems competent and human. I hope Kaiserman will consider making her the manager. Maybe things would improve!
