The work ethic and attention to detail were extremely impressive. Most of all - because we were living in the house throughout the remodel (turning our primary suite into a pseudo-kitchen/dining/family room) - they were extremely respectful and helped keep the rest of our house clean and functional to the extent possible. The owner is a nice guy and so are his employees. Very respectful workers. However, when you are a business and you say you are going to do something, you do it or you reach out to your customer to tell them why it's delayed. This company has left a very bad taste in my mouth when it comes to contractors. If you're looking for a contractor, I highly advise you look elsewhere.

This time it was done right, as it should have in the first place. We really appreciate his willingness to come back and correct the mistakes. We're happy with the re-do but probably will not hire him again due to this negative experience overall.

We never made an agreed time out of respect for YOUR SCHEDULE but we are a business not your personal servant. Business: Very very rude Business: There are also SLANDER LAWS in this state sir. NOT FAIR that you have posted such things Business: We thhink it wise for you to delete the slander upon our company who are not your personal servants but a simple Service that you called for help but your schedule did did not match with the OPTIONS we only had available to you. I believe if you look at my original review and the communication there was not a single falsehood. I mentioned they said "tentative", but I also think their communication implied an appointment. You be the judge. They never refused me service, but honestly that would have been preferable. I never treated them like they were my "servants". I couldn't be happier with the work he did. The gate is now stronger (by far) than it was, even when it was new. He started the job almost immediately even though I was in no particular rush. He was true to his word and presented his bill which was stunningly inexpensive especially considering how much everyone else was charging..... Beyond that, David is a skilled and creative carpenter. Everyone else wanted to install a cheesy gate that was pretty much identical to the original cheesy gate that came with the house when I bought it. David's repair job will likely survive hurricanes, earthquakes and tornadoes. Well, ok...maybe not tornadoes but as I said, I couldn't be happier with the work and the price. I told him I was needing a bedroom window replaced and gave him the ballpark dimensions of the window measurements. He asked some questions I didn't know the answers to, but was patient and helpful with walking me through how to tell the difference in order to answer. I liked that I was able to text him a picture of the window so that he could visually see what I was talking about, and he was able to give me an estimate soon after. He came out later the same day to assess the window and take accurate measurements. He gave us an estimated time of when he would be able to replace the window (he came out on a Thursday and got the window replaced by the following Tuesday) and was on his way. Throughout the entire process, I appreciated Don's clear communication along with the updates. The pricing was reasonable and the install was quick (even though I talked his ear off the whole time) and took less than an hour. He cleaned up any mess the install left behind and even wore shoe covers when he had to come inside to get to the window. Don was respectful, transparent, and was able to maintain great communication throughout the entire process. His pricing was fair and the installation was quicker than expected, but efficient. We would use Don again in the future since we had such a great first experience and love to support small business owners!
