    Went in for a oil change and noone was here they were so slow and i sat down for over a hour workers sitting around doing nothing untill i said somthing and finally decided to work on my car! I will never be back here for service or reccomend anyone to even think about stopping in

My brother Michael is a cancer patient who was given a year and a half even with treatment. It has been a year as of this note. His car died last week. So we quickly purchased a used 2012 Chevy equinox for $9,000 at Elder Hyundai Macomb on Hall Road in Michigan on Monday the 16th October 2023. I also purchased aftermarket warranty coverage through car shield that will cost us nearly $2,000 and doesn't kick in for 250 mi and 40 days. The dealership tried pushing one on us for close to $3,000. We clearly understand what an "as is" sale means, however, My brother and I drove it home to Hamtramck and the change oil light came on. I started texting the salesman immediately. Our salesman told us that they had changed the oil and probably forgot to reset it but that's their job not ours. He kept hemming and hawing for us to get it figured out ourselves. I have 4 days worth of texts to share with all of you on how I kept asking literally begging for them to take the vehicle in. A day later an O2 sensor light started and now the check engine light is on constantly. I continued to text them pleading to give us a solution and let us bring in the car. They refused and kept skirting the issue. I asked for the owner to give me a call and today is Saturday the 21st and I have still not received any call. Whoever you are, you have no balls. You are a coward and you have taken advantage of a cancer patient who has a limited amount of time on this planet. Shame on you. Your customer service sucks and no one should purchase vehicles from you ever. I'm still waiting for that phone call. It's amazing how quickly you took our cashier's check and sent us on our way. We are going to have to have things fixed already even before the first week of ownership and you should pay for it as our available funds are extremely limited. This is a cancer patient. For all of this grief you have caused, he should get a brand new car from you and you can take this old one back! His life should be calm and easy right now, but your indecision has made it extremely difficult for him to enjoy his very last car ever. God forgive you because I cannot. I'm going to share this with my 700 plus friends on Facebook and I pray to our Good Lord that they will support us because they helped supply the funds to pay for this vehicle. I call on all my friends to share this post to everyone they know!

    Sami from Hyundai was extraordinary. He is very attentive, hardworking and charismatic. Kept me updated throughout the entire process, was very thorough and patient with me. He pays attention to a customer's needs and wants. Usually buying a new car is a headache, I didn't have to worry about a single part of it.

    Review #511 March…read more31, 2025 Updated Review from 1/16/2018 I can certainly say again this AutoZone is My go to store for My vehicle when I won't drive to the Ford dealership plus pay their high install prices for the same products mostly sold here at Auto Zone. I can work on my vehicle when I have to. My January photos of a Duralast battery purchase are posted in detailed from this location. During the deep freeze days in the month of January, I kept receiving an error message inside on the information screen and also the message on the Ford App connected to My Phone of a low battery charge. I called the Ford dealership and was given a two week appointment plus to leave it for the day. The price with install and other testing was outrageous - $556.00. I couldn't accept that price or timeframe due to my work schedule, therefore I stopped in AutoZone and the guys there were helpful and kind enough to test the battery on their equipment in the parking lot FREE N/C. The percentage was 40% which was lower than the 50 % I had checked at home in My garage a few days prior. The store employee helped Me choose a compatible battery to match the factory installed one from 2020. I bought it and arrived back the next day to have the employee install it FREE and gave Me $22.00 credit for the old one. What a efficient and professional service here without the long wait and high installation price at the Ford dealership. ($400.00) I Thank All the AutoZone team members as before in 2018 and again on January 10, 2025 for your kind and helpful knowledge to show great support and service!     **********Simply put....THIS LOCATION ROCKS!**********…read more Got wrong part in error ... didn't know it until the repair shop putting it on noted the hub was 6 lug, not my 5 needed. Its ok mistakes happen. Called the store and they went into action to assist and rectify things WITHIN MINUTES ALL WITHOUTH THE CAR LEAVING THE HOIST! Seriously.....WOW!!!!!! Speaking with Mike Achenza, he quantified my problem, found the correct part, and after a few very short moments on hold had approval from the store manager Charlie to have the part run up to the repair shop I was using.....no extra charge! Moments later, in walks Maars, a younger associate that was articulate, gracious, and courteous....ONE OF THE MOST POLISHED ASSOCIATES IN ALL MY YEARS PATRONIZING ADVANCE AUTO PARTS!!!!!! He handle the transaction efficiently, and represents the company with a STELLAR ATTITUDE! Even the repair shop staff were impressed with the POLISHED interaction! (5-STAR!!!!!) Returned the other part I did not need to the store without issue, with the help of Kelli, the Retail Parts Pro who admittedly knows a heck of alot more abut cars than I do!
