This vet hospital has absolutely no empathy and one particular female doctor named Dr. Anjali was incredibly rude and unprofessional with a huge superiority complex in front of owners. She also gave incorrect post-op instructions for an ointment that could have harmed my dog. For people to be vets, they need to also respect the animal and their owner along with being exceptionally qualified. Stay away! This vet is focused more on volume and speed than caring for their patients. Brought our dog for a euthanasia which was already very difficult. We requested an intra-muscular injection before the procedure but that was not their practice. What they did offer were several overpriced packages for euthanizing! They began by taking way too long to place our dog's IV which they ultimately failed at however they still tried to push the propofol anyway. Since the IV wasn't done right, our dog began writhing in pain, yelping and licking her leg where her IV was. The vet tried to assure us that propofol doesn't burn! What medical professional says that about propofol?? THEN after several minutes our dog was still awake because the IV wasn't placed correctly. BUT the vet began trying to push the final (lethal) meds to put our dog to sleep while she was still fully awake! When we asked him to wait until she was asleep he got upset and said, "let us do our job!" He then tried to blame their bad IV on us! For moving our dog around. We were not moving her around. Anyway we took our dog home and got a full refund. Had he pushed the "final medication" like he tried our dog would have suffered a slow, painful death due to the meds being absorbed sub-q (aka not in the IV)! Finally I'd like to say that the staff there is wonderful. They are kind, compassionate and helpful. I would not trust the vet though read more

I don't usually write reviews. I am making an exception because I am hoping to spare another pet owner the pain and suffering my family and my pet endured. The euthanasia was essentially botched by a bad IV. Instead of Dr. Reddy recognizing the IV was infiltrated, he tried to give my dog the lethal medication while she was fully awake. He became angry when I asked him to wait until she was anesthetized before giving the lethal medication. I can not express how traumatizing this was to witness for my kids, myself and my husband. My dog made noises I had never heard her make before because she was in pain. I understand things go wrong in medicine, it is how you deal with it that makes the difference. This veterinarian was dismissive, lacked empathy and failed to detect his IV was malfunctioning. Instead of assuming responsibility, he blamed me for moving too much..... Please, stay away. We brought our very bruised, traumatized dog home with anesthetic in her system. Words cannot express how upset we still are. No family should ever go through what we experienced. My cat was suffering from fleas, and I had given him OTC flea medication, and after taking him here was told I posioned him, but after their care, they said they were confident that we was better. The vet here was extremely dismissive of my responses, and even more so after I asked he be looked at for a UTI, and the vet said no. A week later, my cat started to strain using the restroom, so I took him back. They did a urinalysis and confirmed he had a UTI. The vet put a catheter on him, without a bag attached, and I took him home. For 3 days I had to have my cat quarantined in the bathroom because he was essentially leaking out of an open catheter. 3 weeks later, I took him to a different vet clinic, and had to put him down because of a urinary blockage. After talking to the new vet about my experience and the way things were handled here, he was dismayed at the lack of care this vet handled the situation. And told me that some of the things this vet was claiming about my cats condition, weren't ever medically proven as a result of his illness. I wish I would have never taken him here in the first place, and given them over $1,000 over the course of two and a half weeks and had to put my cat down. read more

We brought my 10 yr old morkie to this vet with the intentions of putting her to sleep. Dr. Reddy struggles to do the IV and after several attempts, we believed it to be in and thought we could proceed with the intended euthanasia. My mother held our sweet dog and our entire family gathered around to comfort our morkie. Dr. Reddy pushed the propofol, which is the medicine that is used to put her to sleep prior to the euthanizing her. After pushing the drug, our dog was screaming in pain. After about 2 minutes or so, Dr. Reddy grabbed the euthanizing medication and attempted to push that drug WHILE OUR DOG WAS STILL AWAKE. My mother simply asked "can we wait until she is put to sleep before we euthanize her?", as this would minimize her discomfort. To this question, Dr. Reddy rudely responded with " We do this procedure all the time. Please let me do my job". My dog's arm was completely swollen (indicating that the IV was not actually in her vein and the fluids had built up subcutaneously). Again, we pointed this out to Dr. Reddy, who again responded with "let me do my job". Finally, he decided to attempt the IV again and after he failed to get it, we decided to abort the mission. Dr. Reddy allowed us to take our dog home who was not in a state to leave with the high levels of propofol that were given to her. He didn't even check on her to make sure she was okay to leave. Overall, this was definitely one of the worst vets that we have ever experienced. Not only were his skills subpar, as he couldn't perform a standard IV, a skill that he claimed to "do all the time", but he tried to euthanize my dog before the sleeping medicine kicked in. Had we not intervened, our dog would have died a slow and painful death. Then when we tried to point it out, he was rude and extremely unprofessional. This was already an extremely difficult day, but he made this process 100x worse. Please stay away!! read more

So I recently just got a puppy and I've been trying to find a vet close to me. I've never really had a personal vet mostly used Banfield Pet hospital for my last fur baby but learned that they weren't the best option going forward for my new fur baby. I called and was able to get a quick appointment and they told me that everything was looking good. They care so much for their patients that they will call the next day just to check and make sure everything is going well. I like that in a vet. It's just a bonus personal touch that makes me feel like my new fur baby is in great hands. read more

Dr. Reddy is very kind, gentle and compassionate with my 10 year old Labradoodle who suffers from severe cervical disease with neurological compromises. i.e has trouble walking, can't climb stairs and falls frequently. This dog is my child! I am not ready to lose him yet and Dr. Reddy is so compassionate and calms my anxiety and treats Rogie with such gentleness. His assistant Carmen literally calmed me with her magic zen like magic and empathy. I wouldn't trust any other vet to care for Rogie. I have seen a review complaining about a member(s) of his staff that were unfavorable...I think I know who it was, I experienced something similar but Dr. Reddy quickly addressed the situation and I do not think you have to worry about that anymore and would urge you to reconsider taking your pets back...you will have a different experience I assure you. We just moved back to the area so we are new and took our dog here for an annual check up and the vet acted like he's never done this before. All he did was listen to his heart and lungs and said "he's good." He didn't even bother to ask how our dog has been doing, how has diet is, lifestyle, or even perform a physical exam on his body. You would think that you'd want to get to know your patient, especially if it's their first time here. He completely neglected to ask if we had any questions or concerns. I can't even tell you his name because he didn't introduce himself. The rest of the staff/techs were way more professional than the vet himself. Needless to say we won't be coming back. UPDATE: called and spoke with the office manager Ashley a couple of hours later regarding my experience and was told I couldn't get a refund for the annual exam. Absolutely absurd that they're making me pay $60 for something that I could've done with my own stethoscope at home. She stated that the vet we saw was not the main vet and offered to make an appt with the main vet. I wasn't even told that the main vet was unavailable when I first made the appt so that was another surprise. Also noticed on my invoice that they charged $4.99 for a medical waste disposal fee; never had a clinic do this before. They also gave me a call the next morning but I couldn't answer it and they didn't even bother leaving a voicemail. Obviously don't care enough to make this situation right. Don't go to this clinic, the Dr "diagnoses" without X-rays, ultrasound or any other science-based method and everything is matter of -urgent surgery-. However, if you go to a second or third opinion, the other doctors say that the diagnosis is wrong. After leaving my dog there for a couple of hours she had clearly abuse marks and as soon as she saw the doctor started crying and screaming loudly. We took a stray that we found over to this animal hospital and told them to look at it thoroughly. They were able to tell us the gender and the age and was able to look this animal over. They said the stray was fine. We took it home and give it a bath and after the bath we found that it had fleas and ticks all over his body and face. How could they not notice this if they did a thorough exam? But they charged us thoroughly. I am not going to bring my other animals there ever again. read more

I can't say enough good things about Eldorado Pet Hospital! On a recent Saturday afternoon, one of my older cats needed to be seen as he had a puffed up cheek and dried blood around her nose. My regular vet had already closed for the day. They told me to come right over, got me right in and even with three medications, the total cost was under $150. Was $42 for a visit which is very reasonable, the X-ray was $230, which I don't know is reasonable or not because I've never gotten one. I went here for the first time during Covid because my dog needed some baby teeth pulled. $1000 later they give her back screaming in pain and I had to demand pain medication for her before taking her home. On top of that once I get her home she still has multiple baby teeth left. Literally two canines sticking up in the front of her mouth on each side and all of her molars. How does a board certified vet not realize that's not normal? Well now we have established the vets here can't tell the difference between adult and puppy teeth. So I have to take her back the next day to go under again and get the rest of the teeth pulled but of course they miss teeth again. Still trying to get them to pull the rest of her baby teeth and they want me to pay another $500 for a teeth cleaning and then $70 for any teeth they pull while she's under. I took my dog here today for a routine visit. It's close to my house which makes it very convenient.. First off. They charge $150 for a standard office visit!! That is at least double what everyone else in the area charges. My old vet charged $40. They weren't even interested in addressing the main reason for the visit. They were too busy upselling me on shots and anything else they thought she needed. Which would be fine if they would've addressed actually acted like they cared about the issue i brought her in for in the first place! They recommended a few medications. In total there were 2 medications, some ear drops and a rabies vax. My bill was $580!!! I was expecting $300 to maybe $350 but $580?? Ridiculous. This is the second time I've been to this vet and took issue with the charges. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and one more chance. There won't be a third. I was disappointed in this place. My pets were having some issues where they were getting bit and I could not figure out what it was. They are on flea medication but something was not right. This was on a Sunday so I was happy to see a vet was open on Sunday. However, once I got there, the wait time was way too long and this doctor has the front desk staff doing his work. If you have a question, he will not answer and he will send in the front office crew to address. I was a little bit disturbed by that because the person I'm talking to does not have his qualifications to address my concerns. The exam was slightly better than other vets, at least he did touch my dogs joints so I will give him kudos there. The issue still continued when we got home. I called the doctor and emailed, three different times, no response. The treatment I went for was not addressed but he did do some blood work which was not needed but the issue I initially went for was not addressed. I feel this facility is interested in getting as much money out of you during the initial visit. As time goes by, the response is diminished because he got what he wanted. He wanted to put my dog on some antibiotics and special pet food, so like everybody, I do my research to get the best available price and I found this place online. The place I ordered the supplies from sent this vet an approval form and they did not send it till days later, I had to call to get them to do it. When I called, because they didn't respond to my email, I was told that they do price matching and I can buy from them. This just told me that this place is in it for the money only. He did not send the approval back in time and made my pets wait, and this really annoyed me. To tell you how much care of this place lacks, when the blood work on my dog and cat did come in, he didn't even call me to go over it with me. He made one of the front office desk girls call me and she asked me if I have any questions, which I did. She would put me on hold, doing the back-and-forth dance which I'm so used to, I am yet to hear from the vet. I spent almost $1000 at this scam of a place. We waited over an hour to be seen, with an appointment. Pretty sure they forgot about us, as someone was mopping the floor and cleaning up while we waiting. Eventually after I said something a 2nd time, they came to examine my pet. When they went to take her blood, I had never heard her scream the way she did that day. I was horrified! She was brought back to me dripping with alcohol on her neck. I had to grab towels with water to get the alcohol off so she wouldn't lick it and get sick. They gave her the first dose of meds and squirted the white liquid all down her face and long fur. After 3h and over $200, the visit was over. We will not be back. read more

Despite being a long term customer, I am frustrated and disappointed with Little Elm Eldorado Pet Hospital current staff and management in terms of customer responsiveness and communication of consistent and clear upfront price quoting for their services. As a business, Little Elm Eldorado Pet Hospital staff and management, no longer speak with a single voice. The staff/management confidently provide inconsistent pricing assurances for services such as pet boarding. To top it off, Little Elm Eldorado Pet Hospital does not list the prices conspicuously on their online website either. The end result for me as a customer is that I simply do not have the basic required information such as pricing for pet services given to me upfront in a clear and consistent manner to make informed decision and yes, the dreaded unexpected bigger bills/charges than originally expected or were promised. Further, the staff's response to losing my pet's favorite accessory/bed was a flippant "we cannot find it" ! I found the current staff/management were rather unresponsive, at times plain cold and disinterested in hearing my concerns out, just dismissive of my grievances as a customer and not even willing or open to remedy the misunderstanding or take measures so similar issues and misunderstandings do not happen again in the future. Took my bulldog here because it was Sunday and my regular vet was not open. She was dealing with a tail fold infection so did not want to wait till Monday to get meds. Big mistake..my dog is in worse pain than before. Staff was not knowledgeable and doc was not communicating what his treatment plan was going to be. I took my new puppy here for her shots, provided by her rescue group. I came a little early, which was good because that allowed me to do some paperwork and also find out which shots my dog needed from the rescue group. The staff here, especially Chelsea, were really nice and patient with my super active puppy! When it was time to see the vet, him and Chelsea treated my puppy very well. They gave her vaccines and also checked on her overall health. With them, my puppy was very comfortable and the whole process was easy! The pet hospital is located in Frisco within a shopping center. It is very clean and organized, and I like the fact that they are open on the weekends, including Sunday. I also appreciated that they called the next day to make sure my puppy was doing fine. Dr. Reddy, Ashlee and staff have been a blessing to my life. They not only care for my dogs, but for me as a person. My dog Zeiss was the love of my life. They cared for him until his last breath when he passed away unexpectantly in August of 2019. He was a difficult case because he had multiple health issues. Check out their wellness plans for puppies an seniors! They are worth every single penny. Both of my boys are on them. If you need to board your dogs this is the place! Not only are the pricess affordable, but they really look forward to your pet staying with them. They continue to care for my minature pinscher Raider, and snoodle puppy Knox. Long story short, we were turned away by another vet because our dog was "too much to handle". Mind you, we just moved into the area from out of state, so I was really clueless on where I should go for many things. I called and shared my concern with Ashley and she was willing to help us. Together with the doctor and other staff, we managed to get our dog's much needed annual check up and shots. The prices were very reasonable too as compared to the vet who turned us away. There were no hidden fees and they clarified all my questions regarding prices. I was presented with the treatment plan before hand and I even added nail trimming after.
