When done, he put this clear bandage thing on my behind-the-ear tatt. Didn't tell me to move hair or anything. Hurt like a bitch to peel it off and ripped out strands of hair just because he was careless. Fast-forward to days/weeks later. As my arm tatt is healing... I keep admiring it only to realize it's so faded and looks like I've had it for years. This has never happened with any of my tattoos. I would go back and have them correct the issue, but I live 3.5 hrs away smh I don't really recommended this place.

The staff was incredibly friendly and they are very diligent in their informative videos for after piercing care. They have a number you can text with questions at any time. My daughter didn't cry or complain at all during the piercing. She said she barely felt it. Rather than a punch gun like places in the mall, they use sterile needles which are much less painful. Her ears didn't bleed barely at all and they felt completely back to normal within a few days. Definitely recommended.

Codi was clearly very knowledgeable about what she was doing and was able to not only calm me down (it's always a bit scary being under a needle), but also she made the entire piercing quick and easy! She emphasized the importance of focusing on my breathing and before I knew it, she finished my daith piercing! Because Codi had extra time, she also helped me make a jewelry switch for an old conch piercing since my old bar was way too long than it needed to be. Tabby (the sweet lady at the front desk) was also very helpful in talking me through what a daith was going to feel like, making the experience much smoother. Overall, I couldn't recommend this place enough. I have gotten a cartilage piercing before, but they didn't take the time and effort and care to explain what to expect before, during, and after the appointment. The shop has won Best Of Delaware for a reason. The owners/operators is this establishment are 100% in every move they make when it comes to this business. The shop is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, most importantly clean. The art that flows from Ed Bells hands is a force to be reckoned with. You will find many talented artists in the area, but none of them top Ed Bell, and you can't change my mind. Clean crisp lines, vivid color and stories clearly told though each piece. What I really like about getting work done by Ed, is that he's not super heavy handed - some areas of the body can be more painful for others - it varies person to person, but I've never had a level of discomfort that I couldn't tolerate. Ed is extremely caring about anyone that walks through his shop door for work - and you feel it immediately. Ive also had several piercings done by Jessica, and she's just as wonderful in her own respective trade. Precision and attention to detail is just as important, and Jessica makes me feel at ease when she's poking new holes ! I absolutely love this shop, and it's my number 1 in Slower Lower.
