Looking for some ideas for our anniversary when I found Play Playground at the Luxor. This was right up our alley because it fell on a Saturday this year (lucky for us, because my LTP is currently busy with school and work during the week). The last time our anniversary fell on a Saturday, it was in 2020 and we literally couldn't do anything due to COVID restrictions, so this one was extra special for us. We marked seven years of dating on 7/18/26! I had a pretty good childhood, back when there was no such thing as smartphones, VR, and AI, and Play Playground allowed us to play like a kid again. This is a family friendly place during the day, but they implement it to 21+ only after 7:00pm and 13+ only after 6:00pm when accompanied by an adult. Make sure to sign the waiver online and forward it to everyone in your party before arriving here to save time. You'll get plenty of playtime here; the entire thing lasts about 90 minutes, which includes Duck Duck Boom across from the main entrance. Once you enter, you check in and they will give you a lanyard that you can hook your play card on, which is extremely convenient. You will also be assigned a random name (I was "Neutral Guava and my LTP was "Pleased Hare") so that they appear on the scoreboard for each game. All games are worth 15 credits and many of them mirrored games we played when we were kids, such as Frolic (Simon Says), Perfect Popper (Perfection), and Rolla Derby (Skee Ball). Tic-tac-toe, Connect Four, and Jenga can be found at numerous tables as well. The Bullseye Bounce was one of my favorite games to play here, where I got to jump on a trampoline in a Velcroed suit and throw myself as high as possible onto a Velcroed target in three tries. There's also a bounce house maze in the very back, which was also fun to experience since I've been inside several bounce houses at birthday parties and other events when I was younger. Their cocktails are absolutely amazing, too. I got myself a Pop Rock Punch cocktail and my LTP got himself a Duck Duck Boom cocktail. The Pop Rock Punch came with a pack of Blue Raspberry pop rocks that I could add in myself (I did not choose this flavor specifically; it was selected at random). We got both of these in a 12oz cup. Being a Las Vegas resident of 25 years, I think this was the most fun I've ever had on The Strip thus far. Play Playground is a great place for any occasion. read more

This is a super fun place for a date night or just to take some friends and challenge each other. No arcade games just fun interactive puzzles and brain puzzles. I mean that some of these require you to think and be fast. Some are games like operation and match the shapes till the board pops. Others require that you and your team mate have to get a red ball through the maze and score points. They have different passes one basic and one VIP, family pass and also group packages. I got the vip this comes with unlimited game play as the games require you to swipe your pass and before you know it your credits run out. Trust me the games are super fun and most of them you will try to beat your score playing multiple times. The vip also comes with one cocktail and swag bag. We had lots of fun and we be back to try and get higher scores. The staff here are super helpful and offer up lots of help with games some are challenging. Cool one-time experience at Play inside the Luxor Hotel & Casino. I was with a group of 7 friends and we got the VIP pass (3 hours unlimited). It was about a dozen or so games/activities, a bit on the kiddish side, but still fun with a group. The inflatable duck/jump (Duck Duck Boom) and Velcro trampoline were the highlights. Music and vibes were good and the staff were hella chill. Homie with the megaphone walked around and even took our song request "Ditty" - Paperboy. Surprisingly it was not too crowded for a Saturday (during March Madness), so minimal wait times. Drinks are hella expensive or your typical strip prices (VIP includes one cocktail). Upstairs felt like wasted space. Play at the Luxor Hotel & Casino is definitely a chill one-time experience. It's something I'd recommend checking out if you wanna try something different (especially if you're going with a group). read more

I had a bit different experience than many that will attend. Its a little smaller than youd think BUT they make the space count in a major way!! It doesn't feel cluttered yet is jam packed with attractions and games. Many attractions are puzzle based or play off board games you've definitely played. Some are modeled after tv show challenges you've probably seen growing up (30-40yo) they keep score via badges and you can see where you rank. Come relaxed and open to stranger interactions and you will be set! Some games are waaay easier with 3+ people but don't be shy, get out there! When we're in Vegas, it's not always just about food, we like to mix in something fun too, especially when we have a young adult with us. Play Playground ended up being a really fun stop. Tickets are about $37 per person and you get 195 game credits, with access to 20+ interactive games, puzzles, and challenges. Ages 13+ are allowed before 6 pm, and after 7 pm it's 21+ with ID. What I liked is that it's not just standing there pressing buttons. You're moving around, thinking, competing, and sometimes working together. Some games are more physical, some are more strategy-based, so there's something for everyone. Time went by fast, we didn't even realize how many credits we used. The vibe is lively but not crazy, and the place is well organized so it never felt overwhelming. They also have food and drinks, which is a nice bonus. Honestly, I can totally see this being fun with my girlfriends too, lots of laughs and friendly competition. Definitely a fun thing to do in Vegas. read more

Calling all the big kids! Play Playground is such a fun addition to the strip. As an adult who still enjoys interactive and active spaces like this, it's nice to have a place to go where you can have fun and not worry about somebody's kid in the way. lol. The staff were friendly and helpful upon entering. We're military so it was nice to receive 20% off(also applies to locals). Before we started playing games, we grabbed drinks at the bar. Prices were on the pricer side but being on the strip it's expected. They were tasty though. There's a lot of activities to choose from that range in participation level. It was only the 2 of us so there was plenty for us to do without needing a group. I do think this place would be more fun to visit with a group of at least 4 though. We went on a weekday so it wasn't as busy but there was still a line for a few of the activities. I can imagine the wait getting a little long if it were busier. Overall the space was clean, well maintained, and we enjoyed our time. I would recommend going if you haven't been before or going with mixed groups, but I can't see myself coming back regularly. read more

Date of visit: January 1, 2026 Having visited the location in Nashville earlier this year, we were excited to see how this location compared. I would still give the edge to the Tennessee outlet as they have the cool rooftop bar and lounge area, but this is a solid choice as well. Easily the newest and best thing at Luxor, Play Playground has a number of fun activities for kids of all ages. The facility is 21+ after 7 p.m., making it a good option for those families that bring their young kids to The Strip and also a good option for adults as well. This is best in a small group of three to four people, as most of the activities are for up to four. The Bogglesque word formation game was a lot of fun, and a bit different from the version in Nashville. The dodge game and whac-a-mole light up activity were the exact same as Nashville, but still fun. The Concentration game was the same as Nashville, too, but in much worse shape with many of the pieces falling apart and faded or with faulty magnets. Unique to Luxor was the adult bounce house "maze," while relatively brief (it took almost as long to take off my shoes and other valuables as it did to go through it), I can't tell you the last time I was in something like this and I was here for it! read more

We had a good night but nothing exciting. It was definitely smaller than I expected and some games were add ons. The tickets were kinda expensive $40 a person. At least you had enough credits to do each game once. The staff seemed sparse and hard to find so we weren't able to ask any questions. I asked one employee where the bathroom was and she just stared at me for awhile then said I don't know. Took around 2-3 hours to complete everything. Really fun experience for adults to play life size games from when they were young. Some instructions were hard to comprehend but once the game started, it was easy to pick up. Play Playground in Las Vegas... where the idea is brilliant, the décor is fun, and the execution is about as smooth as a Jell-O shot at room temperature. Let's start with the concept: oversized games for adults, a nostalgic playground where grownups get to run, jump, compete, and pretend we're not going to be sore for three days. I loved the idea. Truly. Adult recess? Sign me up. And then... reality happened. The staff tries so hard to manufacture hype that it actually cancels itself out. Imagine going to a party where the host keeps yelling "ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?!" every 45 seconds. That's the vibe. They were aggressively pushing us into Jell-O shot competitions -- and yes, I won two of them, because if you're going to peer-pressure me, I might as well walk away victorious -- but still... it felt like a frat party run by people who read one article about "creating guest engagement." But the real star of the show? The Bullhorn Guy. This man roamed the venue with a siren-blaring bullhorn like he was trying out for the world's worst SWAT team. Nothing says "fun adult playground" like getting air-raided while you're trying to toss giant Connect Four discs. And then there was the food. If you can even call it that. We received what I can only describe as a sad middle-school sleepover snack: a bag of Tostitos and a scoop of refried beans. I've seen gas station nachos more inspired. At least they come with pump cheese. But the absolute deal-breaker -- the moment Play Playground went from "cringey but salvageable" to "absolutely not" -- was when one of our team members got injured on the Velcro wall. She landed wrong and was left there... just laying on the ground... while the employees continued their regularly scheduled bullhorn siren programming. Finally, we helped her over to a seat. Only then did the manager show up, and he arrived with all the warmth and empathy of a tax auditor. His immediate focus? Not "Are you okay?" Not "Let me get ice" or "Let me call someone." Nope. It was: "I need you to fill out this injury report." Clipboard in hand. Zero humanity. Maximum liability management. A masterclass in how to make a bad situation worse. Bottom line: Fantastic concept. Absolutely terrible execution. Annoying atmosphere. Mediocre food. Overpriced drinks (But that's just Vegas). No meaningful safety protocols. And a manager whose bedside manner makes DMV employees look like Disney cast members. I don't recommend this place at all. One star, and only because Yelp refuses to create a "Please, for the love of all things fun, do not go here" rating. read more

It's a great spot to grab a drink and then jump back into the games. If I had to give one downside, it's that the space is actually smaller than you might expect. Because of that, lines for certain games can get pretty long, especially when it's busy. Realistically, you probably only need about two hours here to get the full experience. We had a team building event here for 3 hours. It was a great experience. We had the manager CJ hosting us and a super nice staff as well assisting with food and drink orders. 1. We came on a Tuesday evening from 6-9pm. Not crowded though we didn't get the whole site exclusively. 2. It's actually hard to find inside Luxor, we didn't see any clear signs directing us there. The only pointer I found is that it's next to the food court. 3. The staff are super fun and nice. She helped us get drink orders (you can also place your order via the bar table), get food (mostly bar type of food, think fries, burgers, sliders, chicken wings, burritos), and even showed us how to play the games. 4. The games are not super novice games, a lot of them are self explanatory after you see the setup, it's moderately physical in some of them; for example, the jump house and duck game is definitely very physical, and the bullseye jump and stick also requires a lot of jumping. But there are other quiet games like matching shapes that require more of a team building. They also have slides that gave some of our teammates a good scream in the darkness. 5. They have a balloon room for photo and a photo booth, but the prompts are not that many: "adult player", "winner", "play dirty" are the ones we saw. 6. They don't have a locker for your stuff, so try to come in comfortable clothes and bring less. CJ offered to lock up my purse in the staff room as an alternative, but I'm not sure that offers to every walk in customer. 7. Yes, a waiver is required. I couldn't get it done online for some reason as the last page didn't refresh and I was stuck in the signature page. However, they somehow had me in their system when I showed up. read more

Super fun night I had with my friends! There are a lot of games to play from and some were definitely harder than others. Each game is 15 credits and you can play all of them with the standard pass. My favorite game was the cactus ball game to get as much points as you can by hitting the cactus flowers. It was pretty crowded when we went on a Saturday night. It says 90 min experience but we were there for almost 3 hours instead cause we did have to wait in line for some games. I recommend having 4 people in your group since several games recommend a team. If more than 4 people you need to split up for the next game. read more

I went to Play Playground, the adult playground in Las Vegas, on a Saturday night. You must sign a waiver before entry. The trampoline game kicked my butt. It looked easy, but I couldn't reach the highest point on the board (probably for the best, since what goes up must come down). Afterward, I felt exhausted and needed cranberry juice and ginger ale immediately to recover! The slide had some zip! I looked smooth and composed as I emerged from the slide and struck my signature Superman pose. However, what you saw was me flexing my superb acting skills. Inside the slide, my face and body said, "Double R, this is much faster than we anticipated!" I purchased presale all-day play tickets and sip-and-slide unlimited tickets, which included unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. My date chose to bypass unlimited non-alcoholic beverages and bought alcohol, which she said cost 38.00 total for two drinks. They had classic games like Connect Four, and I liked the vibe and the music. I didn't see many games that excited me to play, though I believe I could have played each game once. I deducted a star because the system gave an error message saying I didn't have any credits, and I had to return to the front. Another patron had the same issue, and later my date did too. As I mentioned before, they have numerous games, but not many that got me excited, so I'm including the limited appealing games in my one-star deduction. Came here for a company parry on a Monday night. We had a good time for the most part. It was pretty dead until 9 or 10 p.m. which was nice because we didn't have to wait to play games. I can see that being an issue if they are busy. 21+ only after 7p.m. Drinks were okay with cocktails priced at 18+, calls at 15+, and beers at like 10. Came back to Play Playground to give it another chance and happy to report most of the games are back to full function and the components are much more responsive and less frustrating to play. The staff (especially the amazing Anna!) were wonderful. They also were very receptive to feedback which I appreciate a lot. It's back to being a fun activity I'd recommend to friends and family. My only gripe (and it's a big one) and why I can't give it 5 stars is now there's no incentive to accumulate points because you can't exchange them for prizes anymore. So it's all just for bragging rights I guess? The roller derby game though is somehow much more difficult than my last two times playing as at least one person made it to the end of the track before but this time we were lucky to get a few balls in to inch even 1/3 of the track. That needs to be adjusted back! They've also seemed to increase the difficulty of my favorite game, Doctor! Doctor! which I actually like having the challenge but a lot of teams got frustrated when I watched them play so may not be good for everyone. Still love the word game the best! Reuse your letters as much as you can and just switch out one or two to make more words, and getting an S is your best secret weapon. read more

I did get a drink however I felt like they were a little bit small for the price, but that's to be expected in Vegas Service was absolutely fabulous. Everybody was so friendly. Looking for some adult fun that takes you back to your childhood? Play Playground has you covered. Visited with friends to celebrate my birthday and we had a great time. The games are interactive and keep you engaged to compete for bragging rights of being the best. The only issue is some games do not have the best instructions, so you have to ask for help, but there are plenty of staff to assist. They also have fun themed drinks and food, that are great. I had a marshmallow hot drink and friends had chicken wings that came in a ET lunchbox!! Went the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so I didn't think it was going to be too crowded but parking at the Luxor was only for hotel guest and we had to park in Mandalay Bay and walk over. So...you know when you see previews of a movie and they only show you the good parts. Then you go and watch the movie and realize there was only one scene of those previews in the actual movie. And you question yourself, what did I just watch, and why did I allow the previews to fool me...again? That is what this experience was like. The idea is great but the execution and QUALITY was subpar. High lights: Good drinks, and they can make more than what's on the menu. Super fun spot! It wasn't too busy when we went, and we were able to walk right in without needing tickets in advance. Had a blast overall, and the lines for activities were short. That said, it definitely has room for improvement. A few of the games weren't working properly -- the life-size Operation didn't register some of the pieces, and one of the screens on the whack-a-mole-style game was out. It also could've been a bit cleaner; I didn't notice much sanitizing happening, and I skipped the Velcro wall because the suits didn't seem cleaned in any way between uses. I feel like this place is so heavily advertised and a little overhyped. I genuinely had a great time but I think some of the games are breaking down a bit maybe from overuse? Like the spelling game some of the letters weren't registering and the shape matching game was also having a similar issue. The Velcro wall was so hard to get on also but that is probably a me problem. The staff were trying to hype you up in games but it felt a little awkward to be honest LOL. We didn't try any of the food but this place seems to be well thought out. There was a bar which seemed fully stocked. The games were so much fun!
