I called on a Saturday and was able to get my home Electric Vehicle (EV) ready by Monday. Don was top notch and extremely easy to work with. Its obviously very difficult to get quotes for any type of work over the phone due to unforeseen challenges. My situation is most likely different from others but Don gave me a rough but accurate estimate from just photos of my breaker panel and its location relative to where I wanted an outlet in my garage. Now fortunately, and on extremely short notice, I have a power source to charge my Tesla Model S. His work is clean, professional and most importantly affordable. This Company was just great! Electricity went out on half of my house. I called and within 4 hours he was at my house. He was able to fix it quickly and told me that because it was nothing serious that he would not charge me for coming out! Most companies would have charged, and even more companies would have tried to up sell me because my house is old and needs a lot of work done. I needed to get someone out quick to fix some outlets in my condo that also aligned with my tenant's schedule. I called couple places and he was one of the few that answered their phones as well as called back. Don was very friendly and was able to schedule an appointment quick within two days. His team came in and fixed the issue in 30 mins. The price really depends on how you look at it... If it's a service that is about 2 hours.. it's cheaper than others.. If it is a service for less than 1 hour, it is on the higher side. However, with electrical work, you just never know how long it will take and his availability really sealed the deal for us. He was less expensive mostly because he found alternative ways to do things that maintained the quality and within regulations, but cut down on time and materials. Don and his crew installed a 240 volt 60 amp circuit for a Rheem (RTE-13) tankless water heater for a small bathroom/shower in the back of my house. He also installed a GFI unit in the same bath. I really appreciated his professionalism and his thorough workmanship. He was punctual, polite and did a good job answering all of my questions and explaining all of his work. I wanted to get my panel upgraded from a 60 amp to 200 amp and also have a 100 amp subpanel put in my garage along with a 220 volt plug. I contacted about four electricians to give me a bid and Don came in the cheapest. Don arrived on time to give me the estimate and explained everything to me in great detail. It took about 3 weeks to get started not because of Don but because of SDGE. Don called me the day before the scheduled date and said he would be at my house around 7:30am. The next day he showed up on time and they immediately got to work. By 2pm the power was back on, the new panel installed, the subpanel installed, 220v plug installed, and I was one happy customer! He even let me know about a few safety concerns he had about some previous work that had been done by another company. The one thing that I can't stand about contractors doing work on my house is leave a mess. I didn't have that problem with Electric Unlimited! There wasn't any wire clippings, screws, there wasn't even stucco dust on the top of my new panel! I wish all contractors were like Don and his crew at Electric Unlimited! I would like to give the highest compliment to Don for coming to my condo and discovering the problem with my outlets today.
