Initial request was made on 9/25 with their website and it was not until 10/4 that I was able to get on the schedule for an appointment the next week. OK these guys are hardly the cheapest around, and are probably among the more costly services you can find. But they quote in advance and you know what you're getting into before they begin their work, so there are no rude surprises. I've used them three times, and their work is top notch. Everyone is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable! Jose came out today to replace an outlet and he helped me understand not only the work he was doing but he also provided a lot of good insight about other questions I had while he was here. I always support small and local businesses. In times like these it's more important than ever. I called the business and the owner answered, he was friendly and said how can he put a smile on my face today. With just that I smiled and knew they were the business for me. For me to help local businesses and keep them going, it's everything right now. And I want to do my part. I got an appointment for the next day and was told of the fee to come out and asses the work (I needed some lights and a lampost removed) and was completely fine with that. The next day I got a call that the tech could come earlier, would that be okay. I said yes, of course, because where am I gonna go, LOL. Got and advanced call that Josh was on his way then a call that he was here. He gave me the price and I was very happy with that. He removed the lights quickly and I then mentioned that the doorbell were not working, can he look at it. And yes, there were two for the font door. Mind you, I just moved in and there are things that need so much fixing, these were just a few that can get done now. He proceeded to fix the one that came with the house. And removed the battery one that was a quick fix from some other renter. The owner is a wonderful person who had no clue the rental company had let the place go. So I got on yelp to look for an electrician, and it seemed like most had the same star ratings, so I just narrowed it down and went with the first. I have to say that I am glad I did. I had called and left a message I'm thinking after hours, so I was not expecting a call back until the next day, but low and behold I get a call back 5 minutes later, after giving Guillermo some info we try to figure out a time for him to come, long story short, he was able to make some arrangements and he was able to have one of his manager techs Tim come by the next day, he also took the time to explain what I should expect from Tim. The day of, I reach out to my wife to ask if Tim had showed up and what the damage was, and the fist thing she said was, how extremely impressed she was with Tim (note, my wife can be hard to impress), she started on how professional and knowledgeable he was, and that he was very respectful and courteous. He went over everything and was very thorough. All in all, my wife and I are more then happy and impressed by how well they do business. I don't easily trust people. I'm based in CT. My electrical sytem broke down in the middle of winter. I called the company and they sent TIM DAVIS to check on my system. To Make matters worse, I needed a new panel. The company's system is very telling and straight forward. Never had a doubt about their explanation of having a new panel. I left the key of my house to TIM to do the job as I have to go back to CT. Never been more satisfied with their service, honesty and quality of the job he did. I worked with Josh - he quoted several projects for me as well as did my inspection. He fixed an issue I had (power was not making it to the yard - turned out to be a short in part of my pool equipment) as part of the initial visit - didn't try to bilk me for it or anything. He was so nice and professional and gave me advice he didn't need to give me for free. I got estimates for a few other projects and had him come back to complete one of them (whole house surge protector) and the work was done quickly and at a reasonable price. This place is great. We called on a Sunday, and they got back to us Monday. We were able to schedule an appointment for that Wednesday. We had initially hired another electrician to wire some ceiling fans for us. My husband was able to put the fans up, but needed someone to set up the wiring because there was previously no wiring or lights established in these two rooms. When we set up the ceiling fans, one room wouldn't even turn on (lights or fan) and the second room the remote control for the fan wouldn't even work. After paying so much it was frustrating. So, round two, we hired these guys and it was a world of difference. Josh is amazing. He called to let me know when he would arrive, he arrived on time, and was friendly and courteous. He even encouraged me to ask him any questions and all questions I had about what he was doing. He then also explained to me the individual issues with each set of wiring, and what he did in order to rectify the problem. The only reason this place is getting 4 stars and not 5 is pricing. It is a little pricey, but completely worth it. They have a book system, which establishes price. So there is no guessing game if they happen to be charging you more than another more knowledgeable customer. I found this to be a sign of trustworthiness and integrity. You get what you pay for. You want great work, it's going to cost a little more. And I would totally pay it again. I just wish we had started with them. And if you have Josh come out, you're definitely in luck. read more

We are VERY pleased with the service we got from Electrical Connections. They were very clear on pricing ahead of time, the staff were courteous and helpful. We called them to come fix an outlet for us, which they did, but the recent heavy rain caused a leak into one of our light fixtures and they were able to also help us cap off the light to make it safe without any notice and even provided us with a temporary light solution for that area of the house. Called electrical connections to my house for some electrical upgrades. First off, This company is amazing, they arrived to my house at the beginning of the scheduled time window (which never happens), and put on shoe covers which I really appreciated cause I just had the carpets cleaned. I told them what i was looking to have completed, and they gave me different options on how they could do it. We agreed on a price from their flat rate pricing book and said they could get started right away. The work was all done seamlessly exactly the way they said from the initial walk through. Elec Connections originally came out for a faulty switch and we ended up having them do their safety inspection on our entire electrical system. This is the first residential company that I have even heard of that has an IR camera that measures temperature of electrical components. We are glad they did the inspection because they came across a lot issues the previous owners did that was not safe. The issues they found could have easily caused a fire. We ended up replacing our electrical panel and had them properly grounding our entire electrical system. I am sure glad they offered the inspection service because you never know what safety issues you may have. There techs were very knowledgeable and polite. It was a pleasure dealing with this service company. We highly recommend their inspection. read more
