I had a couple things for him to look at - a fan in our laundry room, loose wires left in cabinets by previous owners from a sound system, and an EV charging unit that was installed on the side of my house. My goal was to repair the laundry fan, tie back the loose wires and make sure they were safe for our baby, and to get the EV station working so I could use it. He addressed all of it in a couple of hours. He actually removed the existing EV and installed a new outlet that would accommodate my fast charger. I was super happy with his work, and we will continue to use him again for any electrical needs. We set an appointment for an estimate, i confirmed he would that he would not be doing the work, as I needed to make arrangements. He was a no call, no show. He finally reached out to me the next day, and we rescheduled for the following day. The next day two guys showed up to do the work, keep in mind I had no price. I was really disappointed, but misunderstandings happen. I reached out to him to reschedule, I apologized for the misunderstanding and sent him screenshots to explain why I wasn't expecting them. I figured after working with him for 8 years, in my home and at work was worth trying to overlook a misunderstanding. His response was that he would do the work I ate half the cost of his guys labor, no apology or recognition that he dropped the ball. It's really to bad, I have never gotten a second bid when I needed electrical work. I am not sure why he was so unprofessional, but I was incredibly disappointed.

He damaged to my attic insulation and he was very careless and neglect. He accused me why my attic fan is manual and does not have a thermostat. I told him when I purchased this home the attic fan always was manual and never ever had a thermostat. He wrote a false report to the home warranty (AHS) and accused my fan because it is a manual fan. Due to his false report home warranty did not replace my broken fan. The work order I put in was for the attic exhaust fan and a living room ceiling fan. I told him to leave since he insisted he was only going to work on one thing. (My ceiling fan I had disconnected myself previously- still all there in the ceiling, just disconnected). Simon told my insurance company, that I had messed up the ceiling fan. He never touched it. He never looked at it. He never walked more than 3 feet inside my home from my front door. Yet he tells my insurance company that my attic exhaust fan is not serviceable. HE NEVER EVER SAW MY ATTIC EXHAUST FAN! and HE TOLD THE INSURANCE COMPANY THAT I HAD MESSED UP THE CEILING FAN. Disconnecting is not messing. Simon lied to the insurance company, why? Because I would not let him service and collect the 75.00 service fee, because his work order was not matching the one I put in. Did SM Electric get money from my insurance company for that visit??????? SM Electric only stressed me out,and now is causing me a hardship due to a lie told by an SM Electric employee??
