I can't stress enough how dog friendly the Blue Elk Inn is compared with others. You will find…read moreplenty of dogs all around the grounds, so if you're not into taking your best friend on a trip with you, you might want to look elsewhere. In general Leavenworth itself is very dog friendly. Wherever we walked, including on Front Street, we saw many dog owners out with their pups. My GSD was in dog heaven! We even met another dog owner in town, whose kids were so sad, because they felt they couldn't take their dog on the trip with them. I recommended they consider the Blue Elk Inn for their next visit to Levenworth. They seemed ecstatic to learn of such a dog friendly hotel and one without dog weight limits, as their dog was large like our German Shepherd. I also showed them a pic of the dog friendly package left on our bed, which included a dog blanket (for your pet to lay on your bed), a paw cleaning towel and dog treats. The front desk also had a dog treat & poop bags display. I've never seen such a dog friendly hotel and where each and every available room was also dog friendly! We stayed in the Superior King with Patio, which includes a private entry and gas fire pit. This particular accommodation is extremely convenient for potty breaks, rather than those rooms inside the Inn or on the 2nd floor, especially for those late night potty breaks. Plus, since the patio is fenced in, it allows your pup an area to roam off leash. It's also nice for those that might have loud pups, when left alone, while you're out eating or enjoying the pool, jacuzzi or sauna. The patio rooms are close to your parked vehicle, so that's another plus, if that option is necessary. The wonderful breakfast, which is included, was also a very welcomed hit each morning. This is not a Continental Breakfast, it's a full on breakfast, which rotated daily. I've never stayed at a place that was so dog friendly and will definitely stay at the Blue Elk Inn again on our next visit to Leavenworth!

We stayed a second time because they made my birthday so special and it was a lovely place to stay. This time: So far - very disappointed I called to see if we could check in early. This was at about 2:15 PM. The gal who answered clearly didn't want to be there and was very terse and unfriendly. She said she'd text if it was ready early. She never did. She clearly has no business being in hospitality. Soooo I checked in at 3:51 pm Room Ready. Very unfriendly. Gave me explanations to the key, a code to door and a dog towel. She never did text to tell me when it was ready. She never went over the details of the hotel, breakfast, other than that the hot tub was broken. I had to use chat GBT to find out when breakfast was. Icings on the cake? Last time we were here it was also my Birthday. They left a lovely bottle of bubbles. This time a happy birthday card some chocolate and a brand new wine opener with NO WINE. Last but not least, Roku tv loaded, opened live TV clicked on every channel and the screen turned black. I tried everything trying to get on turning it off making sure it was updated. It was not a user error. I can assure you. Said front desk lady was unhelpful. I tried what she suggested. No luck. She should've offered us a different room. The keurig was nice but no water. The self phone charging pads built in to the lamps seemed helpful to use but both sides did not work. Needless to say our stay has been grossly disappointing. Why did I pay $200 + when you have so many opportunities for lovely hotels elsewhere. Looking forward To speaking to management about our stay and how my complaints will be addressed.

She also rested bottles of lotion or oils on his legs during the massage. Things were dropped and fumbled with. The playlist was absolutely, insanely tonally inconsistent. It would transition from Christmas-tinged to Chinese to white noise, all at varying volumes. It was very disorienting and made it nearly impossible to relax. My masseuse was very good, with a wonderful bedside manner, and is the only reason my review isn't 1 star, especially for the price point. Disappointing.

I am aware of the 72 hour cancelation policy but was unaware that that policy did not go both ways. When canceling and changing my appointment, I did not even get a discount until I prompted the attendant, even though I would have had to pay full price for a massage I did not recieve if the the roles were reveresed. It is extremely disheartening to then discover that my partner could not fully enjoy thier massage because they felt guilty the whole time. I will be returning to Leavenworth but I will not be visiting this establishment again.

We contacted Orbital Inn before our trip and simply asked to reschedule for another weekend, but were told no. We understand policies, but expected some basic compassion given the circumstances. What was most disappointing was the way we were treated by the General Manager. Rather than showing empathy or trying to find a reasonable solution, we were repeatedly blamed for not buying trip protection, asked to apologize for not doing so, and talked over when we tried to end the conversation. Unfortunately, based on the lack of flexibility and customer service, we will not return to Orbital Inn and would strongly encourage others to consider staying elsewhere in Leavenworth. UPDATE: the host's comment below is a total lie. Not once did Linda offer to reimburse or credit half of the stay. She was on speaker phone and multiple people heard our conversation so I have witnesses to prove it. The only thing she offered was $100 credit for a future stay, which she offered via email once my husband reached out.

Once again we stayed in the Evergreen Suite and once again it was a total, relaxing, romantic delight. And once again Barbara was the most gracious, warmest, friendliest host we've ever known. And the woman knows how to cook. She made a mock Eggs Benedict casserole what was delicious. Served as the 1st course of fresh fruit and cream over a flat breakfast pastry that was simple but beautiful and also delicious. She even told us about her son's new burger place in town and gave us a discount coupon. The burgers and fries turned out to be the best we've ever had. We hope to make it an annual event to celebrate our wedding anniversary at All Seasons River Inn. We got to look inside the other suites and we found at least two that would fit the romantic bill should the Evergreen Suite be taken on the weekend we plan our visit. Barbara is a very special person and her inn more than reflects this. It's the only place we'll stay in Leavenworth.

We picked, at random, a bed and breakfast in Leavenworth, hoping to get some time away...wow did this place deliver! We had an adorable room (The Cascade) at ground level, with a private patio opening up to the stream below. The room came equipped with a huge jetted bathtub, bath salts, candles, plush robes, and the soothing sounds of the stream outside. Upon venturing out of the room we discovered an entertainment room containing a stocked fridge with soft drinks, a kettle with hot water and tea bags, and a large collection of board games and movies to watch on the communal TV. Breakfast in the morning was superb, and the couple running the inn are very sweet and accommodating. We got exactly what we wanted for our anniversary, we have nothing but good things to say about this adorable inn!
