It would take a long time to say everything that occured so I'll just stick to the bigger things. 1st they have a policy that if you spend over 100 dollars cash on anything you will not recieve your money for a minimum of 14 days period. Of course you wouldn't know that as they know for a fact if they posted that specific info at their registers then they would quickly become the one business in america that people would refuse to spend cash at. They work on commissions and at their Gallatin location the store manager trains them on being worse than any car salesman you've ever met. It must be that way because once you meet the guy he does the same exact things and acts the same as his employee's. They will say ANYTHING to get you to buy something sometimes not even saying anything as one of their employees added a product at the register when I was in the process of making a very, very large purchase of a new computer over 2000 dollars. He explained it by showing me the product and saying "if you install this you will get 40% off the price of it". What he didn't tell me was that he charged me 100$ for the product and did not tell me so I had thought by his statement IF I installed the product AND bought it (online like you literally do with 90% of this type of item) I would get a huge discount). The manager had no clue as to why after I found out the employee "slipped in" the other product I didn't know that I was buying why I would bring everything back........... Where I grew up once you know for a fact someone lied to your face (really committed fraud) you don't do any business with them at all period because you can't trust them! I literally, literally had to explain that to the store manager 3 times because (here comes the teaching his staff to be lying salesmen part) acted as if he totally did not understand what I meant the three times I had said your employee flat out lied to me just to get me to buy the product. He kept trying to jump past that specific action that led us to the return and he kept asking things instead like "so it didn't perform as you wanted or it didn't this or that" (he was trying to go down that specific road to put everything on the product that I purchased if it was faulty or not and NOT that it was his teaching his employee's to say anything and do anything just to make a profit and allowing them to use the tactics that they do to sell products as they do. Imagine literally telling someone that their employee "sold" you something without your knowledge and that he flat out lied to your face repeatedly about the actual main purchase you were buying and after three times each time he looks you in the face and says "I don't understand was there something wrong with the product"? That is exactly what happened no somewhat or sort of but EXACTLY how it happened. To make it worse the employee in the parking lot got my phone number directly after buying the computer whe he brought it out he wanted to buy MY old computer (which is totally against their company policy and I know that because he told me to my face "I'm not supposed to do this but I been looking for a bigger tower case" and you tell the store manager that including that this employee has my personal number in his phone right now and he can go look just to prove he's a liar only for the manager to blow me off insinuating I was just saying things at that point due to being mad. So calling me a liar. That's why I know the manager is telling them to do these things, he won't even go check a phone for proof of deception. Everything was a deflection then they had to "check" to make sure it still worked (totally get that) but after like 45 minutes in a totally empty store it became the manager trying to make me stand there as long as possible just to get me the maddest. He had literally 1 page to fill out all of which equated out to be less than a half a paragraph which (while at this point he was finally back at the counter) I stood there for an additional 20 minutes waiting on that one page to be completed. Oh you have no idea I could go on for a minute and then if that wasn't enough the district manager refuses to call anyone back (read the other reviews) because again these people have knowledge that their employees do slimy things and they let them and it's all good to them. No accountability, as long as they keep selling they don't care how they do it. All I can say is thankfully I can hold my temper but I guarantee just by the way the manager doesn't know any better when to stop pushing and as crazy as people are today I'm glad that I don't work there because it's only a matter of time when he will pull that with someone who doesn't deal with things like normal people. I've was in the military for over 10 years and have been in active zones. I was so upset I was literally shaking not from anger but just from stress you have no idea. Do yourself a favor even if you have to pay more it's worth it to go somewhere else! read more

Me and my husband went here to get our TV stand. We got a very nice Ashley's one for a very good price, and it was in amazing condition. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by somebody we knew, so it was nice to have a familiar face. He was speedy, helpful, and got us an amazing TV stand. My husband also went here to get a microwave for his apartment three years ago, and we still use that very microwave today! I bought a computer from them in 2020 and of course they talked me into their warranty for 229'and said it covers it all. Buy the Apple they don't get hacked . $1300 Computer I might add. Fast forward now the Computer got hacked and I took it in to get help and the young man mario took it in and kept it for 3 hours . The computer didn't turn on so he told me to go buy a new charger which I did and he would work on it . He hooked it up to his charger and said let me erase this and it should work. After he did that an activation lock came up and then denied he did that . Took it to Apple and they said what he had done caused this problem . Of course I call the store back and raven the assist mgr said bring it in and we will send it off . Sent my daughter to bring it in and all of a sudden now sorry we don't fix those things . Store manager Terrill or Terrance said we didn't do that to your computer and there is nothing we will do for you . I asked for the refund of my warranty and said no we won't do that either and I asked for dm number and said he will call and hung up on me!!! I wish I could give this store 0 stars. PLEASE do not go to this store. You will get ripped off. I bought a TV mount from this store and paid $98 for this "suggested" mount. While putting up the mount, I noticed an important piece was damaged. I went back to the store and spoke with the manager in hopes of returning or even exchanging the mount and the manager would not accept the broken mount that HIS store sold to me. Mind you, it had been way less than 14 days within the date of purchase. He looked at the part and confirmed that the piece was broken, but instead told me to call the manufacturer and see if they could replace it. This is some of the most PISS POOR customer service I have EVER received. What store sells broken things, and avoids responsibility? A SCAM of a place. All they do is sell broken things and keep the money. I decided to call the manufacturer and they were highly upset about Electronic Express and will be in contact with the store about them poorly representing their brand. We bought a Sealy mattress from this Electronic Express location last year. We really wanted to like it but it just didn't hold up well. both sides sagged. I called Sealy and they said they would honor the warranty but that I should work with the store. I spoke with Zane who expedited our issue with no problem. I wanted to swap for another mattress but couldn't find what we needed. We purchased a Beauty Rest elsewhere and I hated that since I wanted to give Electronic Express our business. The company and Zane were courteous, super helpful and took care of us so professionally. I would like to also add that Electronic Express has the best return policy over all other mattress stores I went to, even the company we bought from. Let's hope we like this one, returns at Mattress Firm are not as generous as Electronic Express. Thank you Zane, you and your company were wonderful! So it has been over 2 years since I worked at Electronic Express, so I have no qualms reviewing them, especially since this is not the store I worked at. However, I will admit that one of my former managers works here and he is the only person in the entire company I will buy from. So yeah, if you want to buy from Electronic Express go to this store and talk to William Whittaker. That aside, the store is nicely laid out and clean, the staff is helpful and attentive, and the prices are quite competitive. My only complaint is that they have no way for customers to check the stock of an item they want before going to the store. I went in wanting an LG TV with passive 3D and the price was right. However, they only had the display left and being a former employee, I knew better than to buy a display. So I went with a Samsung, and I previously disliked Samsung, The TV has a nice set of features that met the needs of my wife and I, without breaking my budget. William put together an awesome AV package for me that did not break the bank, yet was a great set of equipment to start off with. I have no complaints and will gladly return to shop in due time. read more

It is not the closest store to me it's a 45 minute hike but by far it has the best and most competent staff. I had the worst experience with this place. I went to purchase a sofa and loveseat, found one I liked and put it on layaway.I paid all my payments on time which is 3 payments. Today when I went for the final payment and deliver set up, I was told that they no longer have reclining sofa, that threw me for a loop. I'm trying to figure out how to sell the last item that I was paying for? R&b they said we still have the recliner, but the love seat has been discontinued , that we will give you another one at a higher price.??? And then Mr. Mark Geiger decided to try to sell me another one at a higher price. He proceeded to tell me that all layaway payments for final sales are final. I agree with that no problem but my problem was that you sold the product that I was paying on and didn't let me know that you were going to sell it. I get there and you have the recliner but no reclining sofa. I was able talk to the manager Mark Geiger he was no help at all. He kept insisting that he could give me a store credit. I just wanted the furniture that I paid for. I actually paid for it!!! Finally after letting him know that I would post this on Yelp, he decided to call his boss...., who decided to "miraculously" offer to send me a check for the rest of my money. Couldn't understand.... I just really couldn't understand why you just didn't give me a refund while I was there in the store,but they said 7 to 10 business days to refund me my money.!?!? Absolutely the worst service I've ever gotten in my life.We bought a $1200 refrigerator 4 weeks in advance. The salesperson was great, thorough. Told us, we'll put your future address where it will be delivered in here as well, be sure to confirm with delivery. The next day, Quentin, the delivery manager, confirms the future address and sets up a time window. The day of the move comes. The time window comes... and goes, with no contact or delivery. I call the store, I get greeted with someone yelling in my ear at someone else, then they tell me they can't help me, I've called the store. Eventually, we had to track down the salesperson because the delivery warehouse wasn't answering the phone. Our salesperson said, no, the item never went on the truck, but it was going on right now. 5 minutes later, a delivery driver calls and says, we'll be there in 15 minutes, 20 minutes at the most. After 45 minutes, I call back... and get straight to voicemail. I leave a message (a polite one) asking what's going on and to call back. An hour after that, still nothing, I called and left another message. An hour after that, and an hour after that - same thing. No one ever called, no one ever answered the phone. The store manager tell me he'll find out what happened and call back. Never called back. The next day, we call the store and salesperson again - expressing the fact that we were literally without any refrigerator at all since we had moved and were going to have to throw away a bunch of stuff because we'd counted on having a fridge the day before the move was complete. There was a bunch of "Well that's just terrible! I'll call you back!", and never a return call. Eventually, on Monday, a couple hours after another round of phone calls, the delivery manager calls back, sounding harassed, saying we weren't getting the fridge that day (icy road conditions) and that we'd get it Tuesday. No apology, by the way. We were offered $50 by the salesperson (not a manager, the managers kept handing the phone off to sales people instead of handling the problem themselves), to compensate for the lost food. We said we wanted contact with the district manager, we were told he was going to call us in 15 minutes aaaaaannnd..... no call. Ever. Eventually, Tuesday came and we actually got a fridge. The delivery guy didn't hook up the water line and expected us to do it. Then he lingered about, as though he deserved a tip. This is all I'm saying, if there was some sort of issue with delivery, they should have CALLED or at the very least, answered the phone. They knew they were doing wrong, and they just kept dodging and dodging. Chances are, we will never see that $50 for our food loss. But we will definitely not ever, EVER go to Electronics Express again. read more

Salesman Zane provided outstanding service today at the Rivergate store location. He was most cordial, knowledgeable and helpful!!!

First off I wish I didn't even have to give them one star. I went up there to get an amp and a pair of subs installed. It took about 3 hours and I was quoted before it would be just an hour. The installers name is Austin. When he was done he told me that my amp wasn't strong enough to push the subs so he bridged it which doesn't make sense if the amp isn't strong enough to power them way bridge it. He also told me he had to make an amp plate for my amp because it was so big. So I paid the money and went out to my car to hear it. Started up my car and couldn't hear anything from the subs. So when I got home I took the subs out of the trunk ( still hooked up to the amp though) and saw the crappy piece of wood he called an " amp plate". So I took the amp off of the amp plate and noticed that the amp was in protection mode. So I unplugged the RC jacks and let the amp cool down. After about 10 minutes the amp went back to power mode, so I plugged the RC cords back in and noticed the amp immediately went into protection mode. While I'm doing this my sister calls up there and talks to the installer because I've had this system in another car and it didn't sound nearly as good as it did in my old car which I installed in my old car. The installer said it was because I have a factory radio in my new car. So my sister gets off of the phone with the installer. I look at how the subs are hooked up to the amp and this dumb@$$ installer doesn't even know how to bridge subs so I unbridge the subs and hook it up - to - and + to + then I start the car up put on some music and the subs start banging. So I go up to electronic express to get a refund for the install and the manager tells me that it's not there problem and the install charge is for running the wires through your car. So i just paid for an installer to install subs and amp in my car just to go back and have to fix it afterwards. I wouldn't recommend this place for Installs. Not sure about the other installers but Austin does not know what he is talking about and is not educated in car electronics. These isn't the first time this electronic express as done this. My sister had her's installed there and had to go up their 3 times just so they can fix it. So electronic express does not care if your system works. Poor customer service and work quality. The reason the Electronic gets one start because of the salesman that was just a regular associate was the only one that tried to help. A lot of supervisors are in positions because who they know and you can tell the Director of Training Joe was one of this exceptions. The staff was very friendly when I entered so I was looking around and saw flood lights on sale inside of the glass case. In front of the item there was two sale signs that stated flood lights $99. So I asked a sales associates to get me one of the flood lights in the case. So he unlocked the case and have me a light and I stated ok it has a lot of features and that's a good price I want one. The salesman said I'm not sure if that's the one price so he went and scanned the box it said rung up 199. So I asked him do I get it for that price it's not a 199 tag in the display and there are two tags surrounding this item for 99 and the signs read floodlight. So the sales grabs one of the sales sign out the case and throw it away. And I said it's another tag in there with the price and you should honor the price because only an employee can touch the merchandise and place the tags because it's inside of a locked glass case. The salesman said sorry but I can not give you that much off. I told him that false advertisement so the director and training was at the store and I explained to him that your employee made the mistake and I should get it for that price he also told me no. I asked for the home office number then Joe gave me his card and told me it's not point of calling because they going to give the complaint to me and u still not getting it for that price. omg! i had the worst nightmare experience with not only this local store and manager (gregory rohan) but, the so call it (technical team) sucked!! it appears that everyone took the same course and passed it with flying colors (lieing and no follow up) i also dealt with a supervisor name mario @ it office and for a few minutes he made me feel that he had sympathy and was very apologetic about what i had experience thus far and he would personally handle the situation himself and i would definitely get a follow up call. lies, lies, and more lies. i still ended up calling in and he finally said the approved a replacement for me. everyone made me feel as if, i was doing something wrong. the only thing i did wrong was to purchase a laptop computer and extended warranty and then go through hell for 3 months until they called themselves repair and then replace it. i will never go back to this store and to add misery to injury gregory rohan hung up in my face and when asked why? he lied and said i was hollering at him! please someone pull that tape!! read more
