I've spent around $400 at this shop for poor-quality parts and repairs, and I consider them scam artists. I first had them replace my phone screen. They failed to properly install the water-resistant seal around the screen. A couple of drops of water from the sink later and the screen fried again. They charged me another $180 to "fix" it. A month earlier I brought in a laptop. They charged me $50 just to remove about 10 tiny screws on the back, then told me they couldn't do anything because the motherboard was secured by melting plastic to hold it in place during assembly, making it impossible to work on. So $50 for nothing. They also tried to charge me for data recovery. The SSD that held the data was easily removable through a door that takes one screw to remove. After the laptop disappointment I still hoped they'd take care of the second screen properly. The second screen they installed is faulty: it scrolls on its own without me touching it, and the problem has gotten worse since I got it back. Face ID also stopped working after the second repair (it had worked after the first one). They overcharge for parts, invent expensive services for things you can do yourself, and deliver shoddy work. I've paid them roughly $400 total for substandard repairs and zero accountability. Do not take your devices here. I'm telling everyone I know to stay away. My wife's iPhone 11 pro suddenly wouldn't turn on and we quickly took it here hoping it wasn't a serious issue. The staff checked and saw that the phone was still drawing a charge. We left the phone and got a text an hour later that it was a software update issue (we hadn't yet installed the last two updates), and that the phone was otherwise A- OK. Brought my laptop in a couple of days ago. I figured the battery and charging port needed replacement or repair. They gave me an estimate and told me they would call after checking on the charging port. Called me back the next day and told me neither was necessary, that the battery was probably good for 6 months or so, and the charging port/charger was an easy fix. They saved me a couple of hundred bucks. They are honest, friendly, and patient when explaining the intricacies of what was going on with my laptop. Dishonest employee and owner - don't go here! I had a cracked screen on an iPhone and visited Electronics Repair in Cottonwood. The employee looked at the iPhone, said he could repair it quickly and the cost would be $250 for parts and labour and I agreed. He began the repair and came back saying the phone was a different model than he originally thought so the cost would increase from $250 to $300, and I reluctantly agreed. About 30 minutes later he finished and while charging my card for the repair, added another 4% for a credit card fee and mentioned I would have to setup Face Recognition again. When I used the iPhone, Face Recognition wouldn't work (which was expected) and I called Apple. Apple mentioned the new screen was not one that would ever allow Face Recognition to work so I went back to Electronics Repair. The employee who put the new screen on was aware the screen wouldn't work and said the business wasn't an authorized repair facility but they could become one. He offered to remove the new screen and put the old cracked one back on which I declined because he wasn't honest about being able to fully repair the phone. The owner then got involved and reiterated they couldn't refund the repair fee without putting the cracked screen back on. The bottom line is this, the employee knew he couldn't repair the phone, charged $50 more than originally stated, and I'm left with an iPhone that doesn't have an important function. The owner knew full well what happened and refused to do even a partial refund. If you are looking for a place to get your phone repaired, don't go to Electronics Repair in Cottonwood, they knowingly promise a full repair, upcharge $50 in the middle of the repair process and then won't refund for an incomplete service. Dishonest people, incomplete repair, no attempt to correct the situation - except to hand the phone back to them and have them re-install a cracked screen - find another place! read more

My iPhone wasn't as waterproof as Apple claimed. The phone eventually went black and the recharge vibration also discontinued. My phone was, essentially, a paperweight. I called to see if they would be able to repair my Apple X phone that I had dropped several times. It turned out the screen was broken and the battery was swollen. Chelsea said she could repair the screen and replace the battery or replace both screen and battery. She gave me prices on both options and while she did not try to persuade me one way or the other, I chose the more expensive replacement. She was by herself so after several telephone calls, she finished with my phone. Very knowledgeable and very professional. I took my Motorola G7 in for a screen replacement, when done the volume down button didn't work, I could deal with that... some time later I brought the same phone in for another screen replacement. This time my phone NEVER worked again, same story, battery is bad, charging port is bad, motorboard is bad and there is no fixing my phone...wonderful..... how can all these things suddenly all go bad at the same time? When I brought it in it was working just fine but when taken apart to install a new screen all these other things went bad, my guess is that they did something wrong and would not fess up to it. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there, I bought a new phone elsewhere and he got pissed, now I have lost all my pictures and contacts... My grandson fell with his phone in his pocket and smashed the screen although I have insurance through AT&T it's a joke even with insurance phone replacement was over 300. Fortunately the girl working at AT&T sent me to electronics repair plus and I also took another phone to them to replace screen, both phones were repaired in 2 hours and looked new. Now the reason for 5 stars. One of the phones a I phone wouldn't work once I got it back the home button wouldn't work. I took it back to them at 445 thinking I would have to come back the next day. The young lady working there found that the screen she put on was defective, I guess the home button is connected to the screen and she actually stayed over 30 minutes and the phone works great. My iPhone had a cracked screen for what seemed like years. It got uglier as the weeks passed. I dreaded this since it was going to be an hour drive to Prescott plus lots of money. I visited Electronics Repair Plus and Chelsey replaced the tempered glass protector with a new one. That protector protected the actual glass screen of my iPhone - which I'm now a true believer in using these thin tempered glass screen protectors. Chelsey did the change out while I waited. I noticed how careful and focused she was, especially to make sure there was no unwanted dust before applying the new screen protector - very professional. The result was what looked like a bran new iPhone! The cost? $15! What a great experience! I'm so glad their business is here locally in Cottonwood to save me the long drive to Prescott. I'm usually a pretty tech savvy guy but when a relative spilled orange juice all over my precious new laptop, I knew I needed professional repair help. I'm not from cottonwood but I was visiting at the time, I called a few places that were rude, and didn't really know when they would get to my laptop. I had a cracked screen on my galaxy note 9 and i had taken my device to theses guys. The cost was outrageous almost $500 and after they were finished with my screen I noticed that my speaker phone no longer worked after the the screen repair. I used my speaker phone a lot so it was very frustrating. So They replaced my screen with a a liquid screen pro plus witch was supposedly backed by a year warranty through a 3rd party business called Cell Helmet, witch guaranteed the screen. So they sent me with a card with very little instruction on how to register through Cell Helmet so that my Warranty was activated. I did the warranty registration as the instructions stated. Fast forward a few months and i notice my screen in its otter box protection case was starting to crack not from anything I had caused, and then I remembered that i had the warranty and it hadn't quite been a year so I headed back to the repair shop and asked the woman working about my options and my warranty, she got on her computer for a sec and came back to the window and informed me that i only had one month to use my warranty to replace the cracked screen and that they had a new screen replacement there and i was covered up to up to $285.00. So i said great and left the phone there, she asked me to be back in 20 minutes so i did just that. well when I got there to pick up my phone she says that will be $285.00 and i was confused considering that she had said something completely different 20 minutes prior and said I was covered by this warranty. Well she failed to mention that the third party would need to be handled through Cell Helmet and that I needed to pay her and I would get reimbursed sometime within the next couple weeks by Cell Helmet. That was extremely frustrating considering that i had no where even close to $285.00 at that moment and she had just mentioned 20 minutes prior that i was covered and they could take care of it. When I hit up Cell Helmet to get the warrant reimbursed I had nothing but issues with them as well, and they tried to pull some really crooked funny stuff with me and the warranty and told me my warranty wasn't valid for something I had not done. So I go check the reviews out on these Cell Helmet people and come to realize they have, absolutely horrible reviews and I was not the only one who had this happen to them befores since i wasn't able to pay the lady i had to call a family member to come to my rescue because she was not going to be giving me back my phone till it was paid. Well after my family came to my rescue and I had my cell phone back i noticed that my Bluetooth wasn't working it would shut off and on and I was not able to listen to my car stereo witch I Bluetooth to due to this issue then I notice my phone shut off and on like every couple of minutes. So I call the place that fixed my screen to let them know that after they replaced my screen my phone started having these weird issues that IT NEVER HAD BEFORE. She said well it kind of sounds like a software issue and that was a crock of shit because It hadn't ever done it before it only started after the screen was replaced by them. So then woman informed that I will have to wait a few days as they will be booked and busy. So I show up on the day she scheduled me to. She was not there. A man was there and I told him what had happened and he said that he would take a look at it when he could get around to it he was busy with other customers. So I left and come back and he said he had no idea why my phone was doing that i at that moment let him know about the warranty issues i was having with cell helmet as well and and he looked at me like i was crazy an said wow i haven't ever had any issues with them. so i did the same to him and said wow u should get on google and check the reviews on them they are the worst ever. and then he proceeds to tell me that his only conclusion to this issue with my phone is he wants to put the old busted screen back on my phoned the screen that I'm not warrantied by cause the bullshit company he used are crooks. He puts the old screen back on refunds me the cash my family member paid and says that was all he was gonna do so he did and it didn't fix the issue and he said oh well i don't know what to tell you its an electronic device shit happens. The thing is my phone worked just fine and then i decided to have my cracked screen honored by the warranty I PAID TO HAVE THAT NEVER HAPPEND THO AND IN THE END I WALKED OUT WITH NOT ONLY MY $500 OUTRAGEOUSLY EXSPENSIVE SCREEN THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY THAT WAS A CROCK A SHIT BUT IT WAS CRACKED STILL AND NOW IT HAD ALL THESE OTHER PROBLEMS AS WELL AND THE MAN/BUSINESS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THE ISSUES WASNT DOINGE NOTHING ABOUT IT AND YELLED AND CUSSED AT ME AND CALLED ME AND MY AND THE PERSON WITH ME A FUCKER AND VIOLNTLY SLAMMED HIS HANDS DOWN ON THE TABLEIN FRONT OF THE WINDOW WE WERE TALKING THROUGH AND WAS TAKING NO RESPONCIBILTY or make it right read more

He quickly diagnosed the charging port had debris that impeded charging the battery. The screen protector was cracked so we asked him to replace that. I was referred to this place by a phone company and I walked in and the lady said my shattered iPhone 11 Pro Max screen was easily fixable. She would order the parts that day and they'd fix it the next day. I only waited ab 2 hours until my screen was fixed and they lmk ab a screen protector that will pay for the damages next time it's breaks. The only thing is that one of the screws wasn't tightened all the way which wasn't a big deal they just said come in and they'd fix it. Highly recommend. read more

He then handed me an Electronic Repair Plus business card ...."They might be able to help you out." Or it's Plan B - buy a new one. So I went down that afternoon and found a very pleasant young women who took one look at it and said "We can do this. We see it all the time. Come back in 20 minutes." 20 minutes! That's all! "Well, maybe we'll get some ice cream" I said. And she came back, "Oh, the best place is just right down the road on the left." Not only did we have some delicious ice cream, but 20 minutes when I returned she came out with my phone with a beautiful crisp screen.
