Lately i've been doing my own pedicures at home since everything has gone up in cost but every once in a while i still enjoy getting a pedi done and when i do i always come here. They truly take their time and make the experience worth the money! I have never felt like they rushed it and I always leave satisfied with their pedicure service. My cuticles got sliced up here. Manicurist was using the round drill to file them away and gave me friction burns/ cuts on 3 of my nails where the skin was filed off. Ouch! She told me to speak up if it was hurting me while she was filing, but by the time I felt any of the cuts it was too late. I've never had my skin cut getting a manicure. I also don't believe files are sanitized in between clients like manual clippers, so I was very concerned with infection (she just pulled it out of a drawer, not from a sanitized bag). Maybe opt for a manual cuticle trim if you're going here! The manicure looked fantastic, if only I could go back and guarantee my skin would be safe! Thursday, July 18th, 2024, my daughter and I both got deluxe pedicures and manicures. She has already had to have the polish on her hands redone; I will be getting mine redone soon. The "men" refused to do my manicure; they only touch women? We wasted our time and money getting manicures done here; pictures included so you can see how badly they did. I was able to walk in for a dip manicure today and they did great! Had to take off my old dip which they did quickly and efficiently, got through dip application and an actual manicure (soak, cuticles, lotion, massage) in 45 min or less. They helped me find the right color to match up with the shade I needed. And super affordable too! Will definitely be going back. read more

I was really excited to try this place out. My friend has been raving about it and her designs on her nails are absolutely fabulous. Maybe I just got unlucky with the person that did mine. I was definitely not pleased with my experience on my manicure. My pedicure was just fine and the woman that did my toes was very sweet. But the gentleman that did my manicure refused to dip my finger two times and the dip powder and my nails are really thin after asking him to please make them a little bit thicker because I'm very rough on my hands. He told me "we don't do that here we like to give a natural look. If it breaks you can come back in free of charge." (I would like to not have to come back in. This is the only time that I have in my schedule to come in). Before the nails begin I was asked if I wanted to cut down my real nail I said no thank you because I didn't wanna have to pay for a full set of tip. They told me it was better to cut down my real nail, which seemed off. (To find out it actually costs more money to glue a full set of tips on) Then when asked, I mentioned I would like a coffin shape. I was given a square and when asked if it could be shaped more there was frustration met. as I said, the pedicure was perfect but the manicure I did not appreciate the service. I really enjoyed this nail salon so much that i bought my mom a gift card here for Mother's Day. I came with my goddaughter on a Friday afternoon. Although it was pretty crowded we were seated as soon as we got there. I opted for a classic pedicure for myself and my god daughter had her nails and toes painted. The pedicures start off at $25 then depending on how much u want the prices go up. (see attached menu) I loved the fact that they use liners in their pedicure stations. It also seemed like they used new packaging with consisted of sterile tools and a mini Pumice Stone. I wish they would've let me have it if they were going to throw it away afterwards. They offer you a free glass of wine or soda which was nice. My nail tech did a great job on my pedicure and she was so patient dealing with my god daughter. She enjoyed herself as well! They have a large variety of nail polish colors. Everything about this place looked clean, etc. Overall, I've been to a lot of nail salons in Pensacola and i was impressed by their customer service. They even have a stamp program if u visit them multiple times you get a discount after a certain amount of services. Definitely an incentive to keep coming! read more

The worst SNS experience. I was in Pensacola for work so decided to stop in for a SNS (dip powder) manicure. Here is my experience: THE GOOD - As a Walk-in, everyone was nice and accommodating. THE BAD - They immediately sat me down and placed all of my fingers in cups of acetone to remove my previous SNS powder. SO bad for your fingers and nails. My fingers got so dried out that the skin is actually peeling now. The gentleman nail tech placed all of the SNS colors on those little wheels in front of me and asked me to choose a color. My hands were occupied so I asked to wait until my SNS was off so I could look at the colors. Over 10 mins of my hands in acetone, he came over 3 additional times to ask if I chose a color. Dude, I don't have access to even look at them! Once my hands were out, here stared at me impatiently until I quickly chose a color, geez. He was super aggressive filing my nails, so once the SNS was off, they were brittle and flimsy. That never happens to me, they are usually healthy and strong. THE UGLY - the whole point of why I choose SNS is so that I don't have to stick my fingers inside the UV gel polish lights that emit UV rays on my nails and skin. At the end of my SNS, he put on that clear color that usually goes on SNS but said I had to seal it with the UV lights, WHAT?! But I obliged and did it since the polish had already started to set. Apparently they put gel over your SNS and omg it's awful. Within 2 days of my manicure, the gel started to come off. By day 4, half of my nails had gel peeling almost entirely off and now they are matte and not shiny. Super disappointed. Don't go here if you want a solid SNS nail job. True SNS is healthy for your nails and you should never have to put your nails under the UV lights. read more

The three stars are for the massage only - it was fantastic. First mani/pedi in a while. Wanted to love it, treat myself but walked out disappointed with the quality of the finished product. The polish used is DC ? and is in my opinion inferior to what you can buy at any pharmacy. For the pedicure - care was taken with regards to paraffin wax temperature which was appreciated and the massage was wonderful. I got the deluxe package for callus removal but that wasn't addressed. The attention to detail for a basic file and polish was staggeringly nonexistent. My toenails are jagged, and the polish was sloppily applied. Manicure was basic, fine. The polish application is the issue, as well. The entire nail wasn't painted and ended up making my fingers look like they're adorned with chicklets. All this for $50, excluding tip, which is a bit pricy considering I have to redo the basics of my pedicure. read more

*WARNING FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING GETTING "GEL POWDER"* One star solely for the fact that I was blatantly lied to, and I am sorry if you have been as well. So, I am a man with a very staunch professional job. That said, I am also gay and when I am not working I prefer to have my nails done. To that end, I was back home in Pensacola visiting from California, and I wanted a really good set for Christmas and New years. Because my job is a suit and tie establishment, it is important that any mani I get done can be removed easily without damaging the natural nail. I typically get soft gel or plain polish for this reason, but recently I have been looking into polygel, which seems the best of gel, dip, and acrylics all while preserving the natural nail. Elegant Nails Spa lists a "gel powder" service on its facebook, yelp, and booking website. This service is listed as separate from any acrylic work. The powder looked similar to dip, except it was applied with a brush and some solution to wet/activate it. Then my nails were cured under UV for each layer before the final layer, which was also cured under the lamp. After receiving my mani in the final holiday push, I was thrilled. The service was QUICK, only slightly messy, and honestly beautiful to look at. It has been close to a month, and still they look fantastic. My job at a new firm starts next week and I need to have the polish removed, but I can't find anyone in California who has ever head of "gel powder." I finally called Pensacola's finest, Elegant Nail Spa, and I asked them what the brand name was and what to tell a nail tech was to have them removed. The man told me they do not offer "gel powder" and haven't for years, they only offer gel, dip, and acrylic! I asked him then what was applied to my nails in December of 2021, and he said, "Acrylic. They have to be soaked off." And when I told him that would ruin my nails, he just said yes. This is the kind of fraudulent and shady business practice that just makes no sense. I would have still gotten my nails done - the profit was theirs, so why lie? I have attached a photo of my nails as they look a month later, because they are beautiful (if not grown out), so that I can make clear it's not about the quality, it's about THE DECEPTION! read more

I had an appointment, the nail technician was still working on another customer (walk-in). So I had to wait for him to finish her nails, 30+ minutes. Other than that it was okay. He didn't do exactly what I asked. I like for my nails to look natural but they always put too much gel/acrylic on my nails. Got a pedicure, really nice until I requested a design. She just started putting something on my toes. Didn't ask me what I wanted. The design was amatureish at best. I didn't like it so she asked someone else to do it for me. I wanted a sunflower. They couldn't do it do I said no design but the polish was lumpy so I told them I didn't like it. One of whom I would say is the manager came over to look at it and tried to convince me that it was okay. Then he asked others around me wasn't it okay. I said it wasn't. Then he tired to convince me to get gel polish instead. I didn't want gel polish. So another technician took all of the polish off and redid it. Much better. While waiting for the polish to dry, he came back over to me and harassed me again about my pedicure! Do unprofessional and childish! I would have considered giving them another chance but never again! I will take my business elsewhere! It would have been somewhat convenient too. Would not recommend this place to anyone! I am very confused. When I came here for the first time for a gel mani and pedi it was an amazing experience, massage was amazing and attention to detail. Then my sister came with me a second time and we paid over $120 to each have gel nails and pedis and it was the worst experience we had both ever had. The pedis did not do massage or really anything like they had the first time. They were extremely rough and I was worried she was going to cut my foot so I finally just told her to skip parts of the pedicure. Never had to do this before. Neither of us even got a top coat on our toes? My sister had a glittery polish that looked like sand texture and was patchy...looked like the color was old... Then we went to do our gel nails. Again the nails were not shiny at the end? My sister had picked 5 glitter colors for each nail and the woman used completely different colors? It was so confusing. We tried to help her find the colors 3 different times and finally we gave up. It looked so terrible. Then both of our gels chipped literally that day! My gel nails were completely chipped off by day 3 which normally I would be pissed but they were so horribly done i was just happy to have them off. Went in for an acrylic removal and full set today. Instead of soaking my nails off, the nail tech pried them off with a nail tip. On 3 of my nails, when the nail tech pulled them off, part of my natural nail went with them. It damaged my natural nail all the way down to my nail bed and they ended up bleeding. He tried to convince me it was just my cuticle but it was very clearly my nail bed. I asked him to disinfect my nails before continuing the service but he went ahead and glued tips on them anyways. My nails were still bleeding and he went to dust them off and file them but I told him I didn't want to go through with the service. I explained that I didn't want to risk getting an infection because he was using unsanitized nail files/brushes that had clearly been used on other customers on these open wounds. He said again that he could cover it with acrylic or clear nail polish but I declined. He did say he was sorry, but I am very disappointed with the service I received. Update: about 7 hours later and my nail beds are so damaged it hurts to even type on my phone. read more

I am a firm believer that everyone should have a pedicure at least once in their lifetime. And what better time to have your toes looking their best then at the beach! Unfortunately, our beach day didn't happen because it was kinda cold and gloomy, so I treated my beau to his first pedi! I liked this place. It was clean, the massage chairs were great, and the staff were very courteous and polite. They were able to get right to work even though we didn't have appointments. Our pedicures were great. They also offer you wine, water, soda, etc, which is always a nice touch. I was a bit disappointed with their color choices. I would have liked to see more Essie and OPI options. Also, they had these Justin Bieber/ Taylor swift music videos going on pretty loud in the salon. Not really my favorite relaxing music. Either way, I would probably visit this place again. Basic spa pedi was 25$/person. This salon is pretty big so would be good to accommodate a larger group like a bachelorette party or something :) read more

I've been to nail salons coast to coast and I've never experienced such consistently good service before. Gel manicures here have lasted me 3+ weeks (minus the grow out of my nails, obviously) and always last a full 2 weeks. They take care to not destroy your nail as they take of the gel, although they do charge $3 to remove gel. The salon is clean and the men are always friendly and helpful. They have a great color selection. A friend gets dip there and it always looks great coming out. We've never waited longer than 5 minutes to get a mani or pedi even at their busiest times. read more
