I got a gel fill in and pink cats eye all for $65. I called 5 mins before and got helped right away! The atmosphere is nice and the service is so so good! My nails feel super thin and natural and the entire process was only around an hour (or less than) so it was super fast! The lady who helped me was so nice and funny and I've genuinely never had such an enjoyable experience. Please come here - they're so good!!!!!

My favorite place to go for nails! If you have problem with ingrown toe nails they will help! I used to have a lot of problems but since I've gone here I have no more pain in my toes :) such kind owners who work so hard
I called the day of to check availability and was able to be accommodated an hour later. Upon arrival I was greeted and sat promptly. It was my first time here so I didn't really know what to expect. I always get gel pedicure's so it started with them filing and wrapping my toes. I was not given any options for what kind of pedicure I wanted, which I didn't think was weird until someone showed up after me and was given options and a whole box of different scents for their pedicure. When it came time for my nails and cuticles to be cut I noticed that the side table that they use to hold their supplies already had materials on top that appeared to be used. Most shops I've been to open up a new pack in front of you. What added further distaste in this shop for me was when it came time for my massage they used an exfoliating scrub on my legs that was prepackaged in small plastic containers that was very CLEARLY already used (see photo). It was sitting on the side table with the opened tools from the second I sat down. Unfortunately, my pedicure felt very rushed and I did not get the same service as the person that came in after me. I do not feel like this place is very sanitary nor consistent among customers and I will not be coming back.
This was my 2nd visit to this location. I've had to come here on the occasion my normal nail techs are unavailable. Both times I have walked away satisfied with the nails and the husband and wife duo are pretty nice. My one less than positive remark would be the cleanliness. It's not screaming you'll walk away with an infection, but, the level of cleanliness does leave a lot to be desired. If I needed to, I'd certainly return as she really did do a great job with my nails.
I was recommended this nail salon by a friend for my wedding and I am so glad I went here! I got so many compliments on them and the shop itself is clean and the employees are so friendly! I had to go back and get my nails done for Halloween and they came out great too! I will be making this my regular nail spot.
I am not usually one to get my nails done but I gave this place a chance since all the nail designs looked very impressive and I was not disappointed. I ended up getting a gel pedicure by Hong. He was very helpful - I have a history of ingrown toe nails and he was basically explained what he saw and how to avoid them. I got this full acrylic set done by Mai (pronounced My) and she was very nice and detail oriented. When I mentioned parts of my nail were hurting for whatever reason in reaction to the glue, she would look to see what the issue was etc, she was patient as I tried to figure out what length would work for me etc. I appreciate the patience and checking in to see what I thought. It's a day later and the nails feel up to par and long lasting.
Elegant nails always does an amazing job. Trusted them with my wedding nails and they delivered exactly as the inspiration picture I showed them. This was a light pink color with chrome. Call and make an appointment, they usually can fit you in. Affordable acrylics on the monterey coast and they do a great job
I still come here, I've become more of a regular here in the last year. I get a gel manicure and it lasts me 2-3 weeks. I go back for fills every 2 weeks because my nails grown out so quickly. I usually don't get designs, just color and sometimes glitter. They do an amazing job here. They recently installed new massage chairs for the pedicure station. Friendly service, fast, walkins okay but best to call ahead!

Nice clean cozy place. Make sure to make an appointment due to covid. Pedicures range from $30-$45 depending on the service provided. Standard mani is $20 & up.

Both Linh and James worked on my nails together and they've just blown me away, especially when it was my first time there. The way how they took their job was professional and clean. Loved how they handled my nails and how they asked me if the design was okay. Ive shown a picture of the design that i wanted to do for my nails and they followed through with it perfectly!it didn't look exactly as i wanted in the picture, but acctually, they've made it a whole lot better! This deffinatly makes me want to come back to them for sure! Can't stop looking at my hands of how CUTE they are! Ive gotten excited to go to this place because they can acctually make japanese styled nails that I REALLY LIKE! I got a lot more designs that i gotta show them the next time i visit. Thank you Linh! I'm not one to review a business, but in light of Covid-19 and a really great experience, just wanted to share a few words. First of all, I called the morning of and got an appointment at 11am, which was super convenient. Once I arrived, I filled out a consent form and did a temperature check. I was seated for my pedicure within minutes and was taken care of by both owners - husband and wife. They were super attentive and detail-oriented for both my mani and pedi, and went the extra mile. High quality work, no doubt! If you can, support this local business. Definitely going back! read more

Hands down the very BEST set of nails I've ever had. James took me as a last minute late night appointment. He was kind, patient, and a master at his craft!! He asked what I didn't like about how my nails had been done and as he started working on my fill and the nails started to just crack off- gave me a break on the cost of removing my old tips and doing a full set. Gel with glitter shaped to perfection- all done in just over an hour- start to finish. I will not leave this place. Save yourself pain & expense and just come to this shop. They are easily the BEST in the area!!! read more

This place is awesome. A little pricier than other locations, but let me tell you it's worth it. Small location and they take care of you. I've been going to another location for a while and their service has gone down since it got busier. It was time to find a new place and let me tell you ... I'm so happy I found this place! For once I felt like I was in a spa and not just a customer to get rid of. I'm looking forward to my next appointment. My husband was happy to hear how relax I was. Usually I go home disappointed from my last place. I got a manicure and pedicure done by James. I also got my eyebrows waxed! Love it!!! read more

I just needed a quick pick-me-up gel manicure and I found the perfect place for it! Elegant Nails and Spa has a clean friendly atmosphere. My nail tech James was very friendly and did a fantastic job on my nails. I got a quick flawless manicure on my lunch break. I will definitely be going back! Best gel manicure on the peninsula! I got a gel mani/pedi 4 weeks ago and my toes still look like they were freshly done. My nail chipped only because I nicked it with a knife while making dinner. I will definitely be back, thank you, Maya!! read more

Shout out to James for hooking it up with my nails! Didn't have time to get my nails done before I came to Monterey this week so I had to get them done here. James hooked it up with a new full set acrylic nails. I'm pretty particular with my nails but James got my shape right, didn't over file/ overwork my nails (I leave some places with my nails aching after), and my nails look thin and sleek. I just fell in love with Elegant Nails & Spa! One of the best nail salons I have ever been and definitely should be the best one in California. Variety of gel color, and different choices of decoration. Though I usually give my picture for the nail from website or we-chat, they do a so so so great job! First time I was with Linh and this time James, both are perfect! This time I choose to do it more complicated so nicer too :p Diamonds and paint lover and will try some staff even more blingbling next time... No doubt you guys are so great keep going! Hoang did a great job on my nails. He really knows his stuff and you can tell he went to school for this! They use high quality products here that are more expensive for them to buy so you know that they care about giving the best to their customers. I definitely will be returning. Been coming here for months now, and Wow! They keep impressing me with what they can do. I always leave happy and feel welcomed when I'm there and feel like I can always have a conversation with all the employees, I should probably start making appointments but I always walk in and they have time to do my nails. I must say that I will definitely be coming back all the time, they simply do the best job and take their time to what I ask. Love love love. read more

Just moved to a near by area, and saw that Salinas nail salons didn't have many good reviews. I decided to drive to seaside to this nail salon. Mai did my gel fill and her husband Hong did my pedicure. They were both very welcoming! They did a really good job on both, I found the nail salon I'll be coming to from now on! read more

This was my second time coming here & so far so good! I showed them a inspo pic & I loved the outcome! I went as a walk in at 6 & they close at 7. I only waited about less than 10 minutes before they helped me. I got a full set ($55) & I loved how she kept asking me if I liked them or if the shape was good. The only thing I didn't like was that she only did 1 coat of polish but it was past closing time so I understand. She did however offer to add a some glitter polish which I liked. They're really nice & overall I liked my experience with them! :) read more

I asked if they could do detailed designs they said yes. I made an appointment, lady was late. I also did a little research. They steal photos online and claim it as their own work!!! They steal other artist work. My lady could not do designs I provided. It was simple line work. They were nice but lied to get me to come in and get my nails done. Came out so sloppy but didn't want to be rude and tell her that plus I was on a time crunch. Took like 3 hours to so. Don't recommend it here and wont come back again. Especially knowing they steal others photos/artwork and claim it as their own. read more

Had a great experience with this place. I scheduled an appointment about a hour before, and they were able to take us in. We got seated the second we walked in. Plenty of color choices! I didn't get the name of the two who worked on me, but excellent mani/pedi. Overall great experience. Happy with the overall result and price. read more

Elegant Nails & Spa does an AMAZING JOB of taking care of you! We can in as a walk-in around an hour before closing and they did all of our nails with no problem! They were very patient with us choosing our designs and colors and they did an EXTRAORDINARY job! They are very great with hospitality by talking with us, making us feel welcomed and giving us a great outcome on our nails! This is definitely going to be my new spot for nails! How much is an acrylic fill with gel polish and a tapered square shape cost?
I don't remember exactly but it was between $40 and $50. I had broken nails too so my cost was probably more. The prices are not the cheapest but they do a great job. Ask for the owner or manager who was a man. He gives the best foot massage EVER!
