Please read all the one star reviews this place has before you come here. I get really nervous in public areas and I was already nervous enough to come into a salon i've never been too before. I just wanted my acrylic nails removed and the guy that removed my nails was being really rough with the nail file and was hurting me and usually i don't speak up because i get scared but I told him he was hurting me and he got mad and scoffed and shook his head. He told me that they were never going to be open for me and to not come back anymore because he said it was too hard to remove my nails. I felt really uncomfortable after he said that and another lady had to come show him how to remove the nails. Not only that but it says it's 10 dollars to remove nails and he charged me 15 , which isn't much of a difference but I found it very weird. read more

Walk ins totally welcome. We got in right away and had a wonderful experience. Great value for the price.

They did an all around ok job on my nails. But I would have to say it was rushed. I made an appointment for my nails the day prior because I read they get busy and they were. Appointment made for 4 didnt get started until 415-420. They dont keep track of their appointments....people were walking in and they would say come back at this time or wait a little and then someone would come in that had an appointment at the time they told the walk-in. They need better management in that regard. They soaked my nails to get gel off and then sat me for my pedicure with someone else she kept going back and between me and 2 other people. She filed and did my cuticles while i was getting my pedicure. So I felt like all around my manicure was a little sloppy. She was going back and forth while she was apply my polish as well. I chose this salon because From the pics they do designs and I wanted designs. If she was only focusing on me at my appointment time I feel I would of gotten a better end result. And didnt really clean up my cuticles enough. I will try once again maybe try and appointment early in the day and not a friday. If they had better management and weren't so scattered I would give them a 4. Clean salon pleasant ppl just manage your time better keep track of appointments I always make appointments for my manicures for a reason. read more

I went to this nail place twice. The first time I went there I got a gel manicure and it peeled off within two days. I then went a month later just to give it another shot because I liked the customer service but when I went the second time and explained to them what happened they spoke in Vietnamese and kept looking and laughing. I'm giving it three stars because of the girl, twain. She was so nice. So mail did my nails, and they are ok. I have nail polish on the side of my nail, and the man who is there, is not friendly and was rude. I would not recommend getting your eye brows waxed. Mai did not brush my eye brows down and trim them, she just waxed the sides and to the point of the top of my eye brow being uneven.. its said because I had a good experience the first time I went in the last month. I have never felt so inclined to add a review on here, but this has been one of my worst pedicure experiences. I came with two of my friends and there were two workers there. Instead of spending their time with us individually one they kept switching between the three of us. The woman kept touching my wet nails with her finger and the device for gel nails. She even cut me and made me bleed on one of my toes. She said she had no idea how even though she rushed through my friend and I's pedicure, and cut me while cutting the cuticles. If you can avoid it, do not come here (for pedicures at least). I hope I don't get an infection, does anyone know what I should do if that happens? read more

My friend and I planned to go to another salon but there was a long wait so we looked online for another nail salon in Seaside and we found this place. When we walked in, the people were very welcoming. The wait wasn't bad at all. Thuy did my nails and she did a wonderful job. I changed my nail shape a couple times and Thuy was very understanding and sweet. I brought in my camera because I am making a video about my summer and they were very open to me filming. The only reason why I give it 4 stairs is because it is kind of expensive. I paid $40 for my gel full set. I wasn't unhappy paying that because the people and the service was good, but I have gotten my nails done other places just as well but for cheaper. But overall, if you are in the area you should give elegant nails a shot! read more

In contrast he was very complimentary to the white lady in the spa chair next to me was fawning over her, so there may be some bias in the services they provide to poc. Terrible. Just received a gel manicure from a male manicurist, didn't get his name, and it's probably the worst manicure I've ever received. I had to ask him multiple times to go over nails with the polish because he missed the sides and edges, in turn he ended up getting nail polish on my skin on multiple fingers and totally ignored that. He asked for payment and when I went to pay I noticed the that my edges of nails were stuck to my skin and asked if he could fix it, also at this point I noticed how butchered my cuticles looked and that multiple nails had black fuzz embedded in my nails. So disappointed considering most of the reviews on this place are high which is why I decided to give it a try. Never again read more

This is a pretty good spot for a pedi compared to the places I was going the past 3 years.

Best nail spa ever! My family owning several nail salons, I am extremely picky! But this place has impressed me! I myself had my nails done and forced my fiancé to get his regular eyebrow maintenance and get a special pedicure. This place is clean and the couple who own it are sweet great genuine people! The gentlemen who did my nails did a mood set .Which is beyond perfect! Flawless and it feels as if they will never come off! It doesn't feel bulky as if it were my own nails! The misses who attended to my fiancé removed all his calluses and trimmed his nails and his eyebrows are still very clean. This place is a wonderful hole in the wall nail salon. Located in a small shopping center near Carl's Jr., it has emery thing you need to pamper yourself within budget. The staff is very friendly, much more than other places I have been to. The will speak English most of the time, and do not chit chat amongst themselves the entire time. They engage in conversation with the client and ask how they are doing throughout the entire time. They have a large amount of colors to choose from both in regular and gel colors. They also have a nail artist who is great at designing pretty much anything you want. Other services they offer include waxing. An eyebrow wax is only $10 and it is done in a private room with a skilled person. My eyebrows are thin and I always worry they will make them shorted, but this woman waxed them perfectly and trimmed them as needed. Cons are that they could offer a bit more out of the massages for pedi and mani for the price. read more

Yes I'm in high school so everything seems expensive but for the length of the massage I don't know if $40 was worth it. That may have been because James insisted on me using gel polish on my toes. Again I'm in high school (without an income) and I didn't want to go back to the salon to get my nail polish taken off. But then I got my full set. The picture below is from two days later. (Done on Friday pic on Sunday). They were very rough on my hands and James ended up cutting me twice. I have to leave a review so people know this establishment will give you an appointment and then tell you they have nobody. That's not ok to do to people on a schedule and who are super busy. I scheduled a pedi the night before and a day ahead and they cancelled the morning after they made the appointment and asked me to come to the shop to reschedule. What in the world is wrong with with this place? No we won't come there and we won't be back. There were 4 of us and one couldn't drive because of a handicap. So that was pretty impossible. Called with a 15 min warning and Jenny did my pedi. She a very sweet, talkative lady of 60 (she told me) who did an awesome job on my toes! So cute and got a little of my ingrown nail too. She cleaned up all my little eyebrow hairs with an easy and detailed wax. The owner dude seemed a little anal, cleaning and putting everything in its place. At least it's clean. read more

As soon as finals were over, my friend and I decided to try out a new nail salon. My friend looked up this place via Yelp and we decided to try it out. As soon as we saw what it looked like inside, it was empty, and it seemed a bit empty due to no customers! But as soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with smiles. James, the guy that did my gel nails, was great with suggestions, efficiency, and listening to what me, the customer, wanted. I brought in a picture of a design that I wanted and he made a complete copy, adding a bit of flair with rhinestones. The price was approx. $48, but my design just added bit by bit. The environment was well ventilated, the ambiance was fresh and modernly decorated, and of course, neat & tidy! My friend and I were very satisfied with our nails, and are definitely coming back here in the future. :) read more

I went here because of all the great reviews. What I wanted was French tip but I really don't like acrylics. The woman who helped me suggested I try a dip. And I absolutely loved it! I got the worst gel manicure here. When I went back for them to fix it, the same day... he only fixed one nail and used a Dremel to make the gel nail polish even on the top of my nails. The gel manicure was uneven, all over my skin and cuticles. I will never recommend this place to anyone. They had a older lady work on me. I don't think she was even licensed. When I came back for him to fix it, he brought out a instrument bag that didn't even go into the sterile machine. So unhealthy and disgusting. Over priced for shitty work. I called, and no one picked up. Since they've been great in the past, I decided to revisit the next morning. I told James I came by the previous day and left a voicemail. I felt I deserved some sort of discount for my inconvenience. Of course, he didn't offer. Three visits later, no improvement. Over 30 minute wait, even when he quotes you "15 minutes".
