Years ago I was a regular customer. Today, I was reminded why I stopped coming here... Customer service! I came in a little over a week for SNS. Tiffany was pheasant and had excellent customer service! Today, I returned because one nail chipped. I arrived at 7:15pm, and the shop closes at 8pm. When I arrived, I proceeded to go find my color. Hannah asked me several times to come back and told me that they were ready to leave etc. Eventually, she repaired my nail in less than 10 min. She's a nail tech, but I guess since she was left in charge while the owners weren't present, she felt as if she didn't have to or she didn't want to do nails. Her attitude was horrible. My nails looks beautiful, done by Le. She was very patient with me because I didn't know what colors I wanted for my gel polish acrylic fill in. My nails were perfectly filled in, not too thick and she also fixed my almond shaped nails. She didn't rush it at all but at the same time finished on a timely manner. The service was friendly upon entering the business to being greeted and seated and even when paying. It looked busy when I got there but surprisingly they had two sides of pedicure/manicure seatings so they were quick to accommodate. The atmosphere is relaxing and the selection of colors and spa treatments are fantastic. The pricing is competitive. Clean - which is a must! Ample parking and a LOT of chairs - wait time is minimum. I have been to elegant nails several times and have always left thoroughly impressed. The first time I went I had a fantastic mani/pedi experience but thought that it was a little overpriced. I proceeded to go to another nail salon then next time I wanted a gel manicure and realized that it was worth the extra $ for the quality at elegant nails. For me a typical manicure at other salons will only last a week before cracking/chipping. The gel manicure from elegant nails never cracks and does not come off until I purposefully remove them. I have coming to this nail shop for 3 years and I LOVE It! In a pinch I have gone to 2 other nail shops, one by the North Point mall and they are no comparison. I am always greeted with a friendly smile. They remember my name. I never feel rushed, even when they are busy. They are very clean and sanitary. I get exactly what I pay for. The staff is courteous and I love that they enforce the no cell phone policy. I want to relax when I got get my toes and nails done. I just enjoy the music and RELAX. I know the prices up front so there are no surprises when I go to pay; and they don't treat you like a criminal and ask you to may before they finish your services. I will never go anywhere else. I read some of reviews online before going to get my nails done for my anniversary. I was surprised at how quickly they accommodated me. Nearly all of the foot spas were full with people, but not many ladies getting their nails done. Tommy did my gel manicure, and also painted my toes. The whole thing cost me $42 (including a tip). Tommy was very attentive, and was patient as I picked out the color I wanted. He made sure to clean up my cuticles and did so without pain. He did an excellent job painting my nails and the massage and hot towels were nice. Overall, thought a bit more than I would normally spend (for not getting a full-set), I would gladly return to this salon. read more

I love this nail salon/spa and it lives up to it's name. Quiet, with soft relaxation music playing, no cell phone ringers and chatter amongst the staff while they work. Very efficient, large staff, trained, professional and caring, it's a total pampering experience. I get the spa pedicure and manicure, have had their gel nails which were wonderful. I usually try to see Ann but everyone has been great. An out of the ordinary place and one that I plan to frequent for years. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. PROS: not sure if she is the owner but I think she is, the woman who is up front is very nice and attentive. She does the waxing and does a great job. They have tons of chairs and employees which normally helps with waits The employees all seem very nice and the place is pretty clean. CONS: Today I waited for almost 40 minutes without any warning that it would take that long. Its my fault for not asking, but I have never waited that long anywhere so why would I assume that today. Bc of waiting I was then in a rush of course and told the gentlemen I need to leave in 30 min. I regret saying this bc all it did was result in a super rushed pedicure with a much shorter than usual massage. Again, I guess my fault for even mentioning it but I had waited so long! I had asked for the "deluxe" and should have been told at that point they only had time for a signature which is less $$$ but of course was not offered that. Lastly, and perhaps the most irritating part of my experience, is that they do not offer you to add a tip when they run your card, basically refusing to accept tip via credit card. They do have a sign that cash tips are preferred but preferring cash and requiring cash are 2 different things! I had to go to an ATM and pay a fee to get cash. Of course I could've not tipped but I didn't want to give them nothing especially bc I have had good experiences in the past. My tips are bring cash for tips and ask how long the wait will be before committing. Otherwise it's a clean and nice place. read more

I had a nice mani-pedi here with a gel French manicure, and I was surprised to find that it lasted well into the third week with no chipping! I am new to the area and have been having bad luck finding a good nail salon. I paid 75$ for a pedicure the "Luxury Pedicure" and on the menu it says it comes with an extra 20 min foot massage that's why I chose that specific one. The girl finishes my polish and says thank you and I said wasn't I suppose to get an extra 20 minute massage. She shakes her head n then says it will only b 10 min bc she massaged for 10 minutes with the hot stones. I said that's included in the luxury pedicure in the list with everything it comes with. Then under the menu it says n black bold ink extra 20 minute foot massage. So the manager lady comes over and tells me my pedicure has already taken over an hour and that's y I'm not getting my massage. Isn't that what I paid the extra 20$ for the gel polish bc removal and applying it takes longer? When I first got there I had a 530 appointment for a gel manicure and a gel pedicure and I got there and they sent me in the chair in the water for over 15 minutes nobody still came and helped me but yet to people that came in after me that didn't have an appointment or service first. So I had started to put my shoes on the leave I just wasn't going to say anything I don't like conflict and they were like oh no someone's coming stay so I stay to try to give them another chance. The girls it in my manicure and pedicure were awesome I'm really upset because they did such a good job but the way they run their business and letting customers pay a higher price for services they're not even getting. The prices are a lot higher than any other nail salon in the area which I was fine with it if you get your moneys worth. The nail tech by the name of Stephanie is very rude and disrespectful. Generally, I love this salon and my go-to nail tech, Vicky. I requested Vicky on my last visit, but I was told that she was off that day. I informed the manager that I would come back another day, but she insisted that I stay and allow Stephanie to do my nails (SNS dipping powder). My natural nails are long and Stephanie was removing the old SNS powder from my nails so roughly that she broke one of my nails. She did not apologize, but attempted to glue my nail back on. I instructed her not to do that, instead, just put a false tip on my nail-- in which she did. One side of the false tip was not glued to my nail properly. I simply asked her (not at all rudely) to ensure that she glued down that side of the tip before she started filing my nail. Abruptly, she stood up and instructed me to get out of her chair and said that she could not do my nails. I did not move immediately because I was in shock at what was happening being that I did not get rude or loud with her at all. She proceeded to pick up MY purse and move it to another chair while demanding that I move from in front of her. I did not appreciate how I was treated, so I left the salon and got my nails done elsewhere. I am a professional and I operate in a respectful manner at all times, so I expect the same in return. I will not say that I won't be back to Elegant Nails because I love Vicky. However, some form of action should be taken against Stephanie for her nasty attitude, unprofessionalism and for touching my belongings. This occurrence was completely unacceptable and unnecessary. I especially have a bad taste in my mouth about this because I tried to leave, but was pleaded to stay. read more

Since I'm new to the area I asked my coworkers where to go for a good Mani Pedi. They recommended Elegant Nails cause it's close to the office. I called in the morning and made an appointment for my lunch break. I went in and had the best Pedi!!! The weather has made my skin super dry so my feet were in major need of some work. She did great! I am very ticklish with my feet, but she recognized it and was very gentle. I am def going back this weekend for a Mani! read more

My husband,daughter and me went here and I must say it was beyond lovely my husband felt like a king and we felt like a queen and princess,Vivian,Rachel,and I don't know the others but they were so nice to us.We even had mini massages when she did our mani. & pedi's.Awesome job they do on your nails.I wouldn't go anywhere else especially in walmart they are horrible nails don't last long at al,but here they are what they named the place Elegant Nails,the place is very elegant and nice very clean someone is always cleaning,my husband really enjoyed for his 1st time getting his pedi. I've been going here for years and would have given a positive review in the past, but my last experience was so bad that I can't make myself go back. The woman who ran my pedicure water ran it very cold. I said it was cold. She felt it and said "it's OK" and walked away. I put my feet in it, but it was downright cold and uncomfortable. When she came back, I again said that the water was cold. She again said it was OK. I was shocked and said "I guess what I think doesn't matter". I said it in an astonished rather than angry way because I truly was astonished. At that point, another manicurist came over and felt the water. She told my manicurist "it's cold". At that point, my manicurist let the water out and reran it, but she muttered angrily the entire time. I decided to ignore it and just get my nails done. However, after I had paid and had already tipped, she started shouting at a man who worked there (maybe the manager?) She kept shouting at him, and he tried to calm her down. After a few minutes, he walked off, but she talked angrily to herself the remainder of my time in the chair. It was not an experience that was relaxing. I love their beautiful environment, but this does not cut it. I go to relax and feel good as well as to have my nails look good. I don't go to get stressed. There was no apology or acknowledgement of my experience. read more

I will never go here again. Tonight was definitely my worst nail spa experience. It was about 40 min to closing and I asked if they could do an SNS manicure and pedi at the same time. She said she'd try. The pedicure technician did a decent job but the manicurist was the worst I have ever encountered. She took me back to her table where she still had few nail clippings on her paper towel from the previous customer. She was overly aggressive with the electric nail file and nicked me several times. She then drenched my nails with so much acetone it dripped all over my hands. My hands were drenched in it. She then left them to soak in plastic bags for so long while she did another customer. I feared this chemical was terribly bad for my skin and after about 10 min I stated taking it off myself. My fingertips were so white and I feared my skin was burned. It was then more aggressive electric filing, nicks to my skin and unnecessary roughness. It was horrible. If I wasn't so far into it I would've left. It almost turned me completely off to manicures altogether. Was she angry she had to fit me in? IDK but it was far from relaxing and I sat on edge and in fear most of the time and my cuticles are sore as hell as I type this. read more

I moved from Miami almost a year ago, and was in desperate need of a good nail salon. I'm very picky as to who touches my nails so I looked up various places and came across this one and decided to give them a try since they are across the street from LA Fitness, and I practically live their. Always go do my nails after my workout which is awesome! Loved how attentive the staff was on my first visit. I have been coming every other week since then and can't complain. Atmosphere is very relaxing , They always have jazzy type music playing softly and they always always have the food network on their plasma tv's. I love to cook and get new ideas so definetly LOVE IT! I always get my nails done with Vi now. Very sweet lady, always cleans my feet very well and takes her time on each toe. I used to get my nails done with Stephanie or Trish but everytime I come in and ask for them they seem to always be booked. Make sure to make an appointment for future visits, that way you are not having to wait. The wait can sometimes be long but if you plan accodringly you shouldnt be disappointed. read more
