This review is specifically about a lash fill I received from Asma and I cannot speak to her other…read moreservices. I will note that she was polite during the appointment. The following day when I contacted her about my concerns she was professional and responsive and refund me when I requested it. I booked a lash fill while traveling in the Atlanta area and found Asma through the Xtreme Lash website, where I have previously found skilled lash technicians. The fill was $186 including a 20% tip, which is comparable to the cost of a full set. At the time of the appointment, I still had well over 50% of my extensions remaining. I clearly requested single lashes with a natural look and a subtle eyeliner effect - not dramatic or volume lashes. The service lasted approximately 35-40 minutes, which felt short compared to the typical 50-75 minutes most fills take in my experience. During the appointment, the adhesive caused some stinging and I was not able to fully examine the lashes in depth when she asked me to look at them. They initially looked ok. As the adhesive dried throughout the day, my eyes began to feel tight and uncomfortable. By the next morning, they were irritated. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the lashes were not applied one extension to one natural lash, but instead appeared to be glued in clusters of 7-9 fake lashes and, in multiple areas, attached to the skin of my eyelid rather than the lashes themselves. A close friend, who is a hairdresser, examined them, took photos, and attempted to gently separate some of the lashes to relieve discomfort. As they have begun to fall off - some chunks of fake lashes have been attached to multiple real lashes. This is an issue as it can cause balding on the eye as extensions should be a 1:1. I contacted Asma, explained my concerns, and sent photos. She offered to fix the lashes; however, I declined because the result was not what I requested, and I did not feel comfortable proceeding further. During our conversation, she stated she applied 2-3 lashes together for a dramatic effect. I told her to look at the photos and see that it was not 2-3 lashes but more like 7-9 lashes and that was not at all what I asked for. Due to discomfort and improper application, I ultimately had to move up an appointment with my regular lash technician back home to get all of the lashes removed and new set put on. In nearly nine years of getting lash extensions, this was the worst experience I have had. While Asma may be skilled in other services, based on my experience, I would not recommend her for lash extensions. Improper isolation and application can cause irritation and potential damage to natural lashes. Photos are attached to show the application issues described above which include huge chunks of lashes and even where a chunk is attached to three natural lashes.

They pretty much always accept walk-ins and I've never had to wait! They have me in and out within 5-10 minutes. Asma, the manager, is so lovely and professional. Also pro tip: they have a rewards account program! If you give them your phone number you can collect points and get a percentage discount on one of your visits. I also keep my eye out for their emails, they do a lot of 2 for 1 deals and discounts, especially closer to the summer!

Instead, I waited over 20 minutes before asking for another update. The receptionist apologized and said she wasn't sure what was happening. I explained that I could wait another five minutes, but then I would have to leave to pick up my daughter. A few minutes later, she told me she didn't expect the specialist to be available anytime soon as she had t even heard paper from the wax room that was being used and apologized again. She also offered to have the manager place a $20 credit on my account (didn't happen). I appreciate the receptionist's kindness and the thought of that gesture, as the delay was not her fault. However, the situation could have been handled much better. Everyone's time is valuable, and with my busy schedule, I intentionally arrived early out of consideration for both your staff and my appointment. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated experience. A couple of months ago, when I checked in, the reception area smelled strongly of marijuana. I had continued coming to this location because of the professionalism of my previous wax specialist, but she has since left to another location. Against my better judgment, I returned, and this experience has reinforced my concerns. I hope you will take this feedback seriously. Delays happen, but communication, professionalism, and respect for clients' time are what define a positive customer experience. I encourage you to evaluate the standards and customer service at this location so it better reflects your brand.

First review! After two of my closest friends that had recommended this place I thought i'd give it a try with me and my 6 year old daughter. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by two nice ladies that asked us what services we were getting. They also had a very nice elegant princess like candy bar filled with a variety of fresh delicious treats for the kids and I for one, snuck a bag of candies for myself. :) even though we didn't have an appointment and we came during their busy time, they were so accommodating for my daughter and me. They seated us together and made us feel like we were VIP's. When we sat down, they would offer us quite few drink selections from cold to hot drinks. We both got a mani/pedi. They have this new polish brand that's called Vinyl Lux and it's an in between a gel and a regular polish. The girl told me it goes on like regular polish but last almost as long as gel and doesn't ruin or weaken ur nails!! For my daughter she had wanted snow flakes and penguins on her toes and fingers. And it turned out amazing! Beyond their consistency of meticulousness, everyone was very warm and competent about the type of nail polish brands, type of scents and the ingredients in them, types of services that would benefit my callus heels to the type of drinks that they were serving. Not to mention they have a Men's side! My husband would love this. One of the workers there showed us the mens side and it is literally a dream spa for men. Purchase a gift certificate for my husband for christmas. I already made another appointment for my girlfriends, myself and our daughters two weeks from now! I've come into this salon a few times before and have never had any issues. In fact, they've always done a wonderful job! When I came in yesterday, I had the most unfriendly technician doing my nails. He never gave me his name, nor did he ask for mine. When I would ask him questions about what he was doing, he would not answer them. But maybe he was having a bad day, who knows. The worst part of the experience was that he rushed the entire process. He did not let my nails sit as long as other technicians have in the past. When he was removing the old gel and filing my nails, he also filed down my skin. I now have scabs and inflammation on all of my fingers due to this and it is quite painful. I highly suggest that when a customer comes in, you take the time to do a clean job, without risking the health of your customers! read more

I have been seeing Candy for at least two years at this beautiful salon and it is always a wonderful experience. She is so much fun and does a great job with either my gel or SNS nails. They last FOREVER and never chip. I don't even choose my colors - I tell her what I'm in the mood for and she gives me some choices or recommends whatever is trending with her other clients.The salon itself is beautifully decorated and luxe with several crystal chandeliers and elegant seasonal decor. Very pushy staff and extremely expensive. They've had two price increases in just 2017!! A fill in was more than a full set because of how they recommended I do it and they didn't tell me until after the service was done. They actually told me it would be cheaper and it was $65 when I usually pay around $45. Such a shame because this was my go to nail spot for years. Sucks that they don't respect the value of a loyal customer, I will never go back and I recommend that everyone finds somewhere cheaper and more respectful. read more

I absolutely LOVE this nail salon! I have been coming here since they opened 10 years ago and they are awesome! I live in Cumming and when I have to get my nails, toes, eyebrows done, I come here! This was my first time at this salon. Decor and atmosphere is awesome at this place. It appeared clean and well kept. I got a pedicure and the treatment is really basic and a little rushed. Pretty 'eh' as far as the pedi goes but the atmosphere is just so enjoyable. I also can't stand places that don't take Amex. They are a busy salon but always have enough technicians to be able to serve mostly everyone at once.
